La danza desde la esencia humana de habitar

Investigación que se desarrolla a partir de la interrogante: ¿De qué manera la acción de habitar el movimiento dancístico por parte del intérprete en danza se transforma en el código que facilita la comunicación con el espectador?, desglosándose en dos ejes temáticos los cuales permitieron conocer, definir y describir los conceptos claves que conforman la pregunta de investigación: “El habitar y su accionar en el movimiento dancístico” es el primer eje abordado desde los estudios de filosofía, geografía y física, para luego desarrollar el segundo eje, “El intérprete y su relación con espectador” desde la filosofía, la danza y el teatro. La investigación se realizó bajo un enfoque cualitativo y desde un estudio fenomenológico del tema, desde entrevistas semiestructuradas se analizaron los datos obtenidos desarrollándose así dos grandes temas: “Construir la danza” y “La relaciónentre intérprete y espectador”. Evolution in the high-altitude Páramo ecosystem

The Páramo ecosystem is the most diverse high-altitude ecosystem on Earth with more than 4000 species of vascular plants. A naturally fragmented ecosystem, it also houses one of the youngest and fastest evolving biota. In this thesis, molecular data from the South American species of Oreobolus (Cyperaceae) and Páramo representatives within the Melastomeae tribe (Melastomataceae) were used to investigate the impact of Andean orogeny and recent climatic fluctuations on diversification processes. Chapter Two highlights the role of Andean uplift in the diversification of Páramo species of Oreobolus as shown by their faster diversification rates compared to other southern hemisphere species. It is suggested that Oreobolus may have reached South America from Australia during the Pliocene through two independent long-distance dispersal events to the northern and southern Andes. This strong north-south geographic structure is evident in the species phylogeny. Chapter Three is a phylogeographic study of the South American species of Oreobolus that reveals complex relationships between and within species. Levels of haplotype sharing, measures of genetic distinctiveness and recent divergence times point to incomplete lineage sorting confounding species boundaries. Additionally, the role in species diversification of the contraction and expansion of Páramo islands during the climatic fluctuations of the Quaternary is supported by genetic data. Chapter Four showed that colonisation of Páramo within the largely Neotropical Melastomeae tribe occurred repeatedly during the Pliocene. Species-poor Páramo lineages such as Castratella may highlight a possible role for extinction in some taxa. In Chapter Four I also suggested that frost adapted temperate lineages may have had an adaptative advantage that may have contributed towards a greater number of species at higher elevations

Hábitat líquido

Este trabajo de grado se fundamenta inicialmente en una época especifica como lo es la pandemia en donde a nivel mundial pone en crisis el quehacer del arquitecto en términos de la vivienda, por lo cual el propósito de este trabajo se convierte en entender y reflexionar acerca de estas nuevas maneras de habitar. Comprendiendo inicialmente el propósito de este trabajo para lograr construir reflexiones se busca construir un trabajo teórico – práctico de arquitectura. En primer lugar, se identifica una cosmovisión propia y objetiva la cual permite dar pie a esta investigación. Para construirla se generó un diagnostico filosófico y temporal, donde se comienza realizando una lectura de la Modernidad liquida (1999) de Z. Bauman, cuyo aporte es la idea de una realidad que se comenzó a vivir en la contemporaneidad, donde se vive en constante cambio y transformación, en el cual el mundo es una incertidumbre. Sin embargo, el trabajo está apoyado de la conferencia de “Una arquitectura para una sociedad liquida” de Carlos Arroyo. Con lo anterior a manera de hipótesis proyectual el trabajo cuestiona la modernidad liquida de Bauman donde el contexto actual de la pandemia da un giro y genera una crisis en la arquitectura. El trabajo está apoyado con la teoría arquitectos contemporáneos como Izaskun Chinchilla y Andrés Jaque la cual propone una arquitectura transformable, adaptativa y sostenible especialmente en este nuevo hábitat. Por medio de laboratorios experimentales de distintos escenarios en Bogotá, se buscará mostrar las nuevas maneras de habitar que se generaron luego de la pandemia en la vivienda, luego de haber generado una extensa reflexión a partir de pensadores y arquitectos; llegando a concluir que la modernidad Liquida de Bauman es una realidad que se está viviendo en la actualidad donde estamos en cambios constantes. Tomando las teorías de arquitectos se buscará mostrar que las nuevas viviendas son adaptativas y transformables. A partir de un ejercicio de reflexión con una estrategia inspirada en la arquitectura efímera y temporal, el trabajo argumenta la elección de vacíos existentes con el fin de generar un segundo uso como lo son los parqueaderos en la ciudad de Bogotá, como un escenario adecuado para confrontar un lugar líquido y un contexto de la incertidumbre con una respuesta a la arquitectura. Por lo tanto, la propuesta va dirigida a la activación de estos vacíos tanto a nivel urbano como incluso económico; ya que el espacio aéreo de estos lugares está totalmente desaprovechado, y en algunos casos la normativa o el estudio de factibilidad no permite el uso de estos terrenos, quedando como lotes de engorde que durante muchos años quedan en un limbo. La idea es utilizar estos espacios vacíos de la ciudad, activarlos con viviendas, estudios, comercio, servicios, lugares productivos de agricultura urbana, utilizando un sistema constructivo modular, flexible, rápido de ensamblar y desensamblar, no permanente, mientras el dueño del predio o la ciudad, definen que se quiere o puede hacer en un futuro con estos no lugares, estratégicamente ubicados en la ciudad. Esto ha dado pie para que la arquitectura no se manifieste como una modernidad pesada como diría Bauman, siendo estable y duradera, sino que, si nos adaptamos a las condiciones de un contexto cambiante y transformable la arquitectura contemporánea sea más fácil de generar respuestas en la incertidumbre.This degree work is initially based on a specific time such as the pandemic where worldwide the work of the architect is in crisis in terms of housing, for which the purpose of this work becomes to understand and reflect about these new ways of living. Initially understanding the purpose of This work to achieve building reflections seeks to build a theoretical work - practical of architecture. In the first place, an own and objective worldview is identified which allows to give rise to this investigation. To build it, a philosophical and temporal diagnosis was generated, where begins with a reading of Z. Bauman's Liquid Modernity (1999), whose contribution is the idea of ​​a reality that began to be lived in contemporaneity, where lives in constant change and transformation, in which the world is an uncertainty. With the above as a project hypothesis, the This work questions Bauman's liquid modernity where the current context of pandemic takes a turn and generates a crisis in architecture. Through experimental laboratories in different scenarios in Bogotá, it will be sought show the new ways of living that were generated after the pandemic in the housing, after having generated an extensive reflection from thinkers and architects; concluding that Bauman's Liquid modernity is a reality that we are living today where we are in constant change. Taking the architects' theories will seek to show that new homes are adaptive and transformable. From an exercise in reflection with a strategy inspired by ephemeral architecture and temporary, the work argues the choice of existing voids in order to generate a second use such as parking lots in the city of Bogotá, as a stage suitable to confront a liquid place and a context of uncertainty with a response to architecture. Therefore, the proposal is aimed at activating these empty both urban and even economic; since the airspace of these places is totally wasted, and in some cases the regulations or the study of feasibility does not allow the use of these lands, leaving them as fattening lots that for many years they remain in limbo. The idea is to use these empty spaces of the city, activate them with housing, studies, commerce, services, productive places of urban agriculture, using a modular construction system, flexible, fast to assemble and disassemble, not permanent, as long as the owner of the property or the city, define what you want or can do in the future with these non-places, strategically located in the city. Percepción de la psicología del deporte. Aproximación desde narrativas de deportistas profesionales

La actividad física y del deporte, es un área que genera gran interés en la sociedad actual, ya que se le ha dado reconocimiento activo a su importancia en diferentes ámbitos de la vida humana (Sánchez & Ariza, 2012). Así mismo, al ser visto como uno de los máximos representantes de la modernidad, muchos jóvenes han optado por elegir el deporte como un estilo de vida y el camino para realizar sus proyectos personales, partiendo de su interés por representar al país en competencias nacionales e internacionales (Quitian, 2013). Con el fin de desarrollar su práctica deportiva, han sido acompañados por diferentes profesionales expertos, cuyo propósito es incrementar el potencial deportivo y las habilidades físicas y psicológicas del atleta. Es por ello que nuestro interés es centrarnos especialmente en la percepción que se tiene del rol del psicólogo del deporte, desde el punto de vista del deportista, ya que será él quien a partir de sus experiencias y narraciones propias nos permita conocer las relaciones que se entretejen entre el profesional de la psicología del deporte y los atletas, partiendo del proceso de acompañamiento psicológico el cual se basa en los factores asociados a la participación y el rendimiento en el deporte, el ejercicio y otros tipos de actividad física, empleando técnicas de preparación psicológica, con el fin de responder a necesidades específicas del deportista de alto rendimiento (Quitian, 2013). De esta manera se podrá ampliar el conocimiento sobre la imagen que tienen los deportistas de alto rendimiento, acerca de los psicólogos que en algún momento de su carrera deportiva los han acompañado, permitiendo que otros profesionales de la psicología y especialmente del deporte reconozcan los cambios pertinentes que se deben realizar para que el acompañamiento psicológico no sólo satisfaga al deportista sino a los demás profesionales que hacen parte del enfoque multidisciplinar del área deportiva.Physical activity and sports, is an area that generates great interest in today's society, since it has been given active recognition of it is importance in different areas of human life (Sánchez & Ariza, 2012). Estudio comparativo de los niveles de satisfacción de la formación universitaria en estudiantes del último semestre de la carrera de Educación Física de diferentes universidades chilenas

La comparación es crucial para que las universidades den cuenta de las falencias con las que están saliendo sus estudiantes, de la manera en que ellos abordan la información y saber cuáles son los puntos débiles con respecto al conocimiento proporcionado por la institución académica durante los años universitarios. Instagram: factor de posicionamiento en la industria de moda de lujo en Colombia.

El objetivo de este trabajo de grado es analizar cómo Instagram es un factor de posicionamiento para las marcas de moda de lujo colombianas. Para esto se tomaron en cuenta opiniones de los clientes y de los diseñadores para tener diferentes puntos de vista y poder hacer un análisis acerca de cómo Instagram puede ser un factor de posicionamiento de las marcas de moda de lujo colombianas, haciendo un análisis detallado de cada variable, teniendo presente el posicionamiento, el uso de la pauta, el branding, las estrategias y el uso de herramientas digitales para dar a conocer puntos clave para sacar conclusiones pertinentes y evaluar la pregunta planteada que establece que Instagram si es un factor de posicionamiento para las marcas de moda de lujo colombianas. La metodología se basa en hacer un análisis cualitativo, utilizando una muestra de 385 consumidores de lujo y una entrevista del punto de vista del diseñador. Access and adherence to isoniazid preventive therapy and occurrence of active TB in a cohort of people living with HIV: a retrospective cohort study in Sao Paulo, Brazil

Tuberculosis (TB) is still a leading cause of morbidity and mortality among people living with HIV (PLHIV). The diagnosis of latent TB is required for the implementation of prophylactic therapy with isoniazid (PTI). However, low access to diagnosis of latent TB and non-adherence to PTI may hinder potential benefits of this essential intervention. In this study, we addressed the access and adherence to PTI in a cohort of PLHIV with positive tuberculin skin test (TST) in a reference HIV clinic in Sao Paulo, Brazil. We have also analyzed the occurrence of active TB over a median of 131 months after a positive TST among study participants. Our findings revealed that 88.3% of the 238 TST-positive patients had access to PTI, and 196 (93.3%) of those with access adhered to PTI. Active tuberculosis was diagnosed in three of the 196 TST-positive patients who adhered to PTI (1.5%; 95% confidence interval [CI] 0.3-4.4%), whereas seven cases were detected among 42 patients without access or who did not adhere to PTI (16.6%; 95% CI 7.0-31.3%). The apparent beneficial effect of PTI in our cohort is consistent with previous studies including PLHIV, and highlights the importance of reliably delivering each of the steps between screening for latent TB and provision of PTI

Efeito do diabetes mellitus induzido por aloxana e etanol na gestação de camundongos

INTRODUCTION AND OBJECTIVES: To investigate the effects of ethanol, diabetes mellitus and the combination of both on mouse fetuses. METHODS: We used 24 female Swiss mice, dividing them into four groups of 6 each: control (C), ethanol (E), diabetes (D) (blood glucose > 200 mg/dL) and diabetes + ethanol (DE). Diabetes was induced by alloxan (40 mg/kg) on day 7 of pregnancy. Groups E and DE received 4 g/kg of 25% v/v ethanol intraperitoneally, whereas groups C and D received saline. On day 18, all fetuses were harvested. RESULTS: In group DE the following anomalies were found: exencephaly, situs inversus totalis, situs inversus partialis, eyelid skin tag and one animal from group E had pulmonary artery hypoplasia. Ethanol administration partially reverted diabetes-fetal resorption caused by diabetes, yet it induced late fetal death. Both diabetes and ethanol reduced placental diameter and increased its weight. Ethanol had more effect on fetal length in males than in females, however, such bias was not found for diabetes. Ethanol prevented diabetes-induced tail shortening in both genders. CONCLUSIONS: These results show that, although ethanol might improve energy metabolism in early gestation, it causes cell damage that leads to cardiovascular, limb and neural tube defects, late fetal death and reduced placental size.INTRODUÇÃO E OBJETIVOS: Investigar o efeito do etanol, do diabetes mellitus (DM) e da associação de ambos sobre os fetos de camundongo. MÉTODOS: Foram utilizadas 24 fêmeas de camundongos Swiss divididas em quatro grupos de seis animais cada: controle (C); etanol (E); diabetes (D) (glicemia > 200 mg/dl), e diabetes + etanol (DE). O diabetes foi induzido pela aloxana (40 mg/kg) no dia 7 da gestação. Os animais dos grupos E e DE receberam 4 g/kg de solução a 25% v/v de etanol intraperitoneal (IP), enquanto os animais dos grupos C e D receberam salina. No dia 18, todos os fetos foram coletados. RESULTADOS: Foram encontradas as seguintes anomalias no grupo DE: exencefalia, situs inversus totalis, situs inversus partialis e apêndice cutâneo palpebral. Um animal do grupo E apresentou hipoplasia da artéria pulmonar. A administração de etanol reverteu parcialmente a reabsorção fetal induzida pelo diabetes, porém aumentou a morte fetal tardia. Ambos, diabetes e etanol, reduziram o diâmetro placentário e aumentaram o seu peso. O etanol teve mais efeito no comprimento de fetos machos, contudo isso não ocorreu com o diabetes. O etanol preveniu a redução da cauda induzida pelo diabetes em ambos os sexos. CONCLUSÃO: Esses resultados indicam que, embora o etanol possa melhorar o metabolismo energético no início da gestação, ele causa lesão celular que leva a defeitos cardiovasculares, dos membros e do tubo neural, além de morte fetal tardia e redução do tamanho da placenta.Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES

Resistencias feministas en Chile: Subjetivaciones y acciones estético-políticas ante las violencias neoliberales

En el presente artículo indagamos sobre las disrupciones que han agenciado los movimientos feministas y LGBTIQ+ chilenos para la acción política y estético-política en el marco de las reacciones sociales a las violencias estatales del neoliberalismo. Mediante un análisis de manifiestos, comunicados, acciones y performances llevadas adelante en el 2019, analizamos, por un lado, cómo estos colectivos han resignificado, al calor de la rebelión de octubre, el vínculo entre violencias y resistencias ante las avanzadas conservadoras en Chile. Y, por otro, cómo han buscado interrumpir los procesos de subjetivación productivista, exitista, sexista, racista y heteronormada propios del negacionismo pinochetista.We investigate the disruptions that feminist and LGBTIQ+ Chilean movements have created for political and aesthetic-political action in the context of the social reactions to the state violence within neoliberalism. By reviewing manifests, statements, actions and performances carried out in 2019, we analyze the ways in which, in the heat of the October rebellion, these groups managed to resignify the relationship between violence and resistance against the advance of the conservative backlash in Chile. VOCs and PM listing of Eucalyptus globulus combustion in residential wood stoves

Pollutant residential emissions from wood stoves have significant impacts both on the environment and people's health. The above makes it essential to know the types of volatile organic compounds emitted during combustion and explore their relationship with particulate matter and greenhouse gas emissions. This paper studies and analyzes these emissions using Eucalyptus globulus as fuel varying its moisture levels. Emissions were determined using an adapted commercial stove. The concentration levels of volatile organic compounds and particulate matter increase with the moisture of wood. When analyzing volatile organic compounds, particulate matter, and O2 with the combustion stages of wood, it is found that their concentrations were higher in the ignition and the reload stage. The concentrations of CO2 and NOx were higher in the reload stage. Other chemical compounds, such as toluene, xylene, and benzene, were also found within the volatile organic compounds listing, which increased their concentration in the ignition and stable reload stages. However, in the quenching stage, they are not present. Finally, the dispersion of these molecules in the environment is evaluated, obtaining that if the atmospheric conditions are adverse, these molecules remain in the environment in direct contact with the people living in those places
