¿Tiene la educación ambiental/educación para la sostenibilidad espacio en las publicaciones españolas de educación científica?

Presentamos un estudio que trata de analizar la visibilidad de la Educación Ambiental y la Educación para la Sostenibilidad (en adelante EA/ES) en las publicaciones españolas de educación científica durante el periodo 2006-2015. Se seleccionaron tres revisas y dos congresos del ámbito de la didáctica de las ciencias. Se trata de un estudio de naturaleza exploratoria-descriptiva a través del análisis del contenido. Para ello, establecimos dos dimensiones no excluyentes entre sí que permitieron caracterizar las publicaciones y realizar diferentes comparaciones y análisis evolutivos. Los resultados muestran la baja presencia de este tipo de estudios en el cómputo global de las publicaciones analizadas

Estrategias de atenuación del lenguaje soez: algunos procedimientos lingüísticos en el doblaje para Hispanoamérica de la película "Death Proof"

One of the main characteristics of Quentin Tarantino’s films, as happens in Death Proof (2007), is the enormous presence of dialogues full of colloquialisms and vulgar expressions. This peculiarity makes the conversations among the characters of the film very realistic. The dubbing of Death Proof for Spanish America, into standard Spanish, in comparison to that for Spain, shows several cases of toning down strategies of the vulgar language. The analysis of the different linguistic proceedings carried out by translators in order to tone down the vulgar expressions constitutes the center of this research.Una de las principales peculiaridades del estilo de los guiones cinematográficos firmados por Quentin Tarantino, como es el caso de Death Proof (2007), consiste en la abundancia de diálogos repletos de coloquialismos, expresiones malsonantes y lenguaje soez, lo cual dota a las conversaciones que mantienen los personajes de la película de un gran realismo. El doblaje de Death Proof para Hispanoamérica, realizado en español neutro, frente a la versión para España, se caracteriza por presentar una elevada cantidad de casos de estrategias de atenuación del lenguaje soez. El análisis de los distintos procedimientos lingüísticos que llevan a cabo los traductores en la atenuación de las expresiones vulgares constituye el núcleo de esta investigación

La influencia del sistema meta en traducción: el doblaje de Los Picapiedra al español neutro

During the 40’s, it appeared a Spanish linguistic variety, called neutral Spanish, which was used exclusively in the dubbings of films and television series (most of them American). By using this standard linguistic variety, one dubbed soundtrack will cover all the Spanish-speaking market. The cartoon television series The Flintstones, created by Hanna Barbera Productions in the sixties, was dubbed to neutral Spanish. In this work, our objective is to examine the features of the dubbing of The Flintstones´ complete first season and to show that, although the aim of neutral Spanish was to create a standard linguistic variety, every translation is strongly influenced by the meta-system to which it belongs.Durante los años cuarenta, surgió una variedad lingüística del español que se empleaba de manera exclusiva en los doblajes de películas y series televisivas, fundamentalmente de producción estadounidense, con la intención de realizar un doblaje único para todo el mercado hispanohablante: el español neutro. La serie de dibujos animados The Flintstones (Los Picapiedra), creada en la década de los sesenta por la productora Hanna Barbera, fue doblada a este español neutro. Mediante el análisis de los rasgos del doblaje de la primera temporada completa de Los Picapiedra, intentaremos demostrar que a pesar de que el objetivo del español neutro consistía, precisamente, en crear una variedad del español lo más estandarizada posible, creemos que toda traducción se ve fuertemente influenciada por la cultura meta que la acoge

La presente tesis doctoral tiene como objetivo principal el análisis descriptivo de 18 canciones italianas que fueron traducidas al español durante la década de los sesenta, concretamente, entre 1958 y 1969. Siguiendo un modelo de análisis que abarque todos los parámetros que influyen en una canción de consumo, se han examinado los procedimientos traductores que se han llevado a cabo desde un punto de vista musical, lingüístico, interpretativo, histórico, comercial y sociocultural

Audiovisual retranslations for children: the new live action versions of Disney classics

Recientemente, la factoría Disney ha experimentado un gran resurgimiento artístico y económico. Prueba de ello, además del obvio crecimiento empresarial de la productora, que cuenta con su propia plataforma audiovisual en streaming y ha comprado otras compañías, como Marvel o LucasFilms, son las nuevas versiones, live action en su mayoría y de gran presupuesto, que ha lanzado de sus afamados clásicos. En el presente trabajo, nos proponemos, por una parte, enmarcar estas nuevas versiones dentro del concepto de retraducción audiovisual para el público infantil. Dicho concepto será revisitado, abordado y entendido de forma amplia, desde una perspectiva semiótica, y abandonando, por tanto, el plano meramente (inter)lingüístico. Por otra parte, analizaremos cuáles son los motivos que han llevado a Disney a lanzar estas nuevas versiones al mercado y qué métodos de (re)traducción se podrían establecer una vez realizado el estudio de varias de estas nuevas (y viejas) películas para niños y adultos.The Disney company has recently experienced a significant artistic and economic revival. Apart from the obvious growth as a business (the company has its own audiovisual streaming platform and has purchased Marvel Entertainment and Lucasfilm), they have now released, as proof of this revival, the new live action and big budget versions of the famous Disney classics. In this paper, we intend, on the one hand, to frame these new versions within the concept of audio-visual retranslation for children. This concept will be revisited and studied extensively from a semiotic perspective, foregoing the mere (inter)linguistic level. On the other hand, we shall analyse the reasons that have led Disney to launch these new versions on the market, as well as the (re)translation methods that could be established after examining some of these new (and old) films for children and adults

Dual Vocational Education and Training Policy in Andalusia: The Nexus between the Education System and the Business Sector in the Higher-Level Training Cycle of Early Childhood Education

Dual vocational education and training (dual VET) is a recent policy aimed at establishing strong connections between the education system and the business sector. It serves to ensure the continuity of training, reduce early school leaving, and actively involve the business sector in the training and qualification of students, known as apprentices. Consequently, this approach has a favourable impact on their successful integration into the labour market upon completion of the dual training program. In this study, we investigate the implementation of dual VET in the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain, focusing on the higher-level training cycle of early childhood education, which falls under the professional family of sociocultural and community services. Through a thorough analysis of interview accounts involving various stakeholders, we shed light on the outcomes of this policy’s implementation. The findings suggest that this emerging policy may have a positive impact on the employability of young individuals by enabling in-company training, which provides them an opportunity to showcase their vocational skills and to combine practical experience with theoretical knowledge. Recorrido por la imagen social de la formación profesional: un camino hacia su revalorización

Historically, Vocational Education in Spain has suffered a situation of political oversight that, unlike other industrialized countries, it has been conferred a social discredit that is reflected in the lower levels of enrollment in these teachings, traditionally considered "second class" in comparison to university studies. While it is true, it has been developed in recent decades political initiatives to prestige Vocational Education. We point out, hence, what these initiatives are and characteristics of these teachings which, together with the current economic and social situation have helped to positively transform their social image and, therefore, have contributed to a significant increase in enrollment. Also, in this paper the results of an investigation is presented that allow to think that this evolution of the social image of Vocational Educationis perceived by teachers that, as we shall see, consider that it has made good progress in the dignity of these teachings.Históricamente, la FP en España ha sufrido una situación de descuido político que, a diferencia de otros países industrializados, le ha otorgado un desprestigio social que queda reflejado en los menores niveles de matriculación en estas enseñanzas, tradicionalmente consideradas “de segunda clase”, con respecto a los estudios universitarios. Si bien es cierto, se han desarrollado en las últimas décadas iniciativas políticas orientadas a prestigiar la FP. Aquí se recogen las iniciativas y características propias de estas enseñanzas que, junto a la actual situación económica y social han ayudado a transformar positivamente su imagen social. Se presentan también  los resultados de una investigación que permiten vislumbrar que esta evolución de la imagen social de la formación profesional es percibida por el propio profesorado que, como veremos, considera que se ha avanzado positivamente en la dignificación de estas enseñanzas.

Motivos de uso de las redes sociales virtuales: análisis de perfiles de mujeres rurales

En el presente trabajo, se muestran los resultados de una investigación cuyo objetivo es conocer los motivos de uso de las redes sociales virtuales de las mujeres rurales y determinar perfiles en función de sus respuestas. Para ello, se realiza un estudio de encuesta, cuyo cuestionario se aplica a 478 mujeres de entornos rurales de Andalucía de 18 a 65 años. Los resultados muestran dos perfiles de mujeres en función de sus motivaciones de uso de las redes, encontrando que las que usan las redes con una mayor variedad de motivos, muestran mayores niveles en intensidad, habilidad y autonomía de uso, mientras que las que la usan exclusivamente por motivos relacionales presentan niveles inferiores en estas variables. Esto sugiere que los motivos de uso es una variable explicativa de la inclusión digital de las mujeres rurales en las redes sociales. Los resultados permiten repensar las propuestas educativas de alfabetización digitalThis paper reports some of the findings from a study that aimed to analyse the motives for using social networking sites and to establish profiles from their responses. To do this, we carried out a survey study based on a purposely designed questionnaire answered by 478 women from rural areas of Andalusia aged 18 to 65. From an analysis of the responses, we identified two profiles based on the use motives of social networking sites. The results indicate that women, who use social networks with a higher diversity of uses, also express higher level of intensity, ability and autonomy of use. In contrast, women who use only social networks with a relational purpose, also express lower level of intensity, ability and autonomy in the use of social networks. These findings suggest that use motives is a predictor variable of rural women’s digital inclusion in the social networks. The findings allow us to rethink the educational proposals of digital literacy

Éducation environnementale comme un cadre théorique pour la réflexion sur la formation des professeurs de sciences

Presentamos una investigación interpretativa de carácter cualitativo en el área de Didáctica de las Ciencias Experimentales, realizada durante el periodo de prácticas del Máster de Formación del Profesorado de Secundaria. Se desarrolló en el contexto de la asignatura de Ciencias para el Mundo Contemporáneo. Sus perspectivas coinciden con las de la sostenibilidad curricular, permitiendo asumir el hecho educativo como realidad compleja. Analizamos cómo llevar la teoría a la práctica desde una primera aproximación a la realidad del aula y si estas reflexiones suponen una mejora en el desarrollo profesional docente junto con la adecuación del instrumento de análisis GESC_UCA (Cardeñoso, Azcárate y Oliva, 2013; Cardeñoso, Cuesta y Azcárate, 2015) como marco referencial para la reflexión.We present an interpretative research of qualitative nature in the area of Didactics of the Experimental Sciences, carried out during the training period of the secondary teacher training. It was developed in the context of the Sciences for the Contemporary World. Their perspectives coincide with those of curricular sustainability, allowing to assume the educational fact as a complex reality. We analyze how to bring theory into practice from a first approximation to the reality of the classroom and if these reflections represent an improvement in the professional development of teachers along with the adequacy of the analisys tool GESC_UCA (Cardeñoso, Azcárate & Oliva, 2013; Cardeñoso, Cuesta & Azcárate; 2015) as a reference framework for reflection.Nous présentons une recherche interprétative de caractère qualitatif dans le domaine de la Didactique des Sciences Expérimentales, réalisée au cours de la période de stage du Master en formation des enseignants du secondaire.
