Este artículo recoge un proyecto de inclusión de un alumno con TEA en el aula ordinaria, mediante la utilización de un sistema alternativo de comunicación llamado Pecs. Esta proceso tendrá varias fases que se llevaran a cabo a lo largo de un curso escolar. Desde la enseñanza hasta la puesta en práctica por parte del alumno en primer lugar y del equipo docente y sus iguales en segundo lugar. Por último se realizará una evaluación por parte de todos los agentes que rodean al contexto del alumno.This article includes a project for the inclusion of a student with ASD in the ordinary classroom, through the use of an alternative communication system called Pecs. La herramienta de trabajo que se utilizará para la búsqueda de información será la Webquest. La finalidad es la creación de una guía de ocio de un mes en concreto que recoja todas las actividades de ocio y culturales de una ciudad en particular. Las élites capitulares indianas y sus mecanismos de poder en el siglo XVII

El propósito de este trabajo es analizar los diferentes comportamientos de las élites capitulares indianas en el siglo XVII, a fin de establecer en qué medida los cabildos fueron, a través de ellas, instrumentos de las oligarquías para defender sus intereses a nivel local e, incluso, provincial, y cuáles fueron los mecanismos de que éstas se valieron para afianzar su poder. Se parte para ello del principio de que en la actuación de las élites capitulares indianas como grupos de poder el proceso fue de la unidad dentro de la diversidad, en la medida en que fueron muy similares los mecanismos de que se valieron para controlar las diferentes esferas de poder. Safety culture, safety performance and financial performance. A longitudinal study

Safety Culture and managing employee relationships in a safe and socially responsible climate might help avoid risks at the workplace and reputational damage for companies. Drawing on the social approach and Occupational Health and Safety Management, this paper aims to gain further knowledge regarding the impact of safety culture through safety performance on financial performance in organisations. We test a set of hypotheses in a panel data of European companies from different activity sectors from 2005 to 2019. Our findings provide strong support for the premise that companies with policies aimed at improving employee health and safety, employee training, or having safety management systems positively influence safety performance, which in turn has a positive impact on financial performance. The development of safety culture in the company is necessary to meet the needs of employees, and thus improve safety performance. This study has implications for both theory and practice and offers some relevant implications for regulators and policy makers.Funding for open access charge: Universidad de Málaga/CBUA

Endogenous topoisomerase II-mediated DNA breaks drive thymic cancer predisposition linked to ATM deficiency

The ATM kinase is a master regulator of the DNA damage response to double-strand breaks (DSBs) and a well-established tumour suppressor whose loss is the cause of the neurodegenerative and cancer-prone syndrome Ataxia-Telangiectasia (A-T). A-T patients and Atm−/− mouse models are particularly predisposed to develop lymphoid cancers derived from deficient repair of RAG-induced DSBs during V(D)J recombination. Here, we unexpectedly find that specifically disturbing the repair of DSBs produced by DNA topoisomerase II (TOP2) by genetically removing the highly specialised repair enzyme TDP2 increases the incidence of thymic tumours in Atm−/− mice. Furthermore, we find that TOP2 strongly colocalizes with RAG, both genome-wide and at V(D)J recombination sites, resulting in an increased endogenous chromosomal fragility of these regions. Thus, our findings demonstrate a strong causal relationship between endogenous TOP2-induced DSBs and cancer development, confirming these lesions as major drivers of ATM-deficient lymphoid malignancies, and potentially other conditions and cancer types.Junta de Andalucía SAF2010-21017, SAF2013-47343-P, SAF2014-55532-R, SAF2017-89619-R, CVI-7948European Research Council ERC-CoG-2014-64735

Effectiveness of vestibular training for balance and dizziness rehabilitation in people with multiple sclerosis: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

Postural instability and dizziness are commonly observed in people with multiple sclerosis (PwMS). The aim of this systematic review was to evaluate the evidence for the use of vestibular rehabilitation, in comparison with other exercise interventions or no intervention, to treat balance impairments and dizziness in PwMS. An electronic search was conducted by two independent reviewers in the following databases: MEDLINE (Pubmed), Scopus, the Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro), Web of Science (WOS), Lilacs, CINHAL and the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews (CDSR). A quality assessment was performed using the PEDro scale and the Cochrane Risk of Bias Tool. When possible, the data were pooled in a meta-analysis (95%CI). This systematic review followed the PRISMA guideline statement and was registered in the PROSPERO database (CRD42019134230). Seven studies were included, with a total of 321 participants analysed. Compared with no intervention, vestibular rehabilitation was more effective for balance development (SMD = 2.12; 95% CI = 0.49, 3.75; p = 0.01; I2 = 89%) and dizziness symptoms improvement (SMD = −17.43; 95% CI = −29.99, −4.87; p= 0.007; I2= 66%). Compared with other exercise interventions, improvements in favour of the experimental group were observed, but statistical significance for the differences between groups was not reached

Diseño y construcción a nivel piloto de un sistema de almacenamiento para pitaya

The lack of postharvest alternatives to maintain pitahaya quality is partly responsible for the technological limitations to better position the fruit for international commercialization. Cold temperatures from harvest to the consumer are the best option for quality assurance but it is not economically attractive because of the high cost of refrigeration. A prototype storage system suited for the pitahaya producers was designed and tested. Fist, taking into account humidification and ventilation, the thermal load was established and a four phase system was proposed: natural ventilation at night, hermetic sealing during the morning, humidification and forced ventilation between 16 and 22 hours. With this system storage trials for green and ripe pitahaya were done evaluating external appearance and maturity and dehydration stages. Temperature, internal and external relative humidity every 15 minutes were registered for a period of 19 days. Storage chamber generated a temperature difference of 5°C when the external temperature was over 20°C. It also maintained a 16% difference in relative humidity throughout the day. Using this system, green pitahaya reached a self life of 19 days under optimal conditions for commercialization and consumption. La comercialización de la pitaya encuentra limitantes tecnológicos que le impiden posicionarse en mercados internacionales, en parte por la ausencia de alternativas poscosecha que permitan mantener su calidad. El uso de bajas temperaturas desde la cosecha hasta la entrega al consumidor constituye la mejor opción para asegurar la calidad, pero desde el punto de vista económico no resulta llamativa por el alto costo de los sistemas de refrigeración mecánica. Para solucionar este problema se diseñó y probó un dispositivo piloto de almacenamiento ajustado a las condiciones de los productores de pitaya. Mediante análisis de escritorio se determinó el sistema de almacenamiento más adecuado, el tipo de empaque, los materiales y las técnicas de pre-enfriamiento a utilizar. Aplicando los principios de humidificación y ventilación se calculó la carga térmica y se determinó la forma de operación del sistema en cuatro etapas: ventilación natural en la noche, cierre hermético durante la mañana, humidificación y ventilación forzada entre las 16 y 22 horas. En el sistema se adelantaron ensayos de almacenamiento de pitaya verde y madura, evaluando la apariencia externa y los grados de madurez y deshidratación; así mismo, se determinaron la temperatura y la humedad relativa interna y externa cada 15 minutos a lo largo de 19 días. La cámara generó una diferencia de temperatura promedio de 5°C cuando la temperatura externa superaba los 20°C; además, mantuvo una diferencia promedio de 16% en la humedad relativa a lo largo del día. La pitaya verde almacenada en el sistema propuesto alcanzó un tiempo de vida útil de 19 días en condiciones óptimas para su comercialización y consumo.  

Mendeley, the manager of bibliographic references and their application in the teaching of Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Property, seen from the transversality of the gender perspective (gender mainstreaming)

[EN] The investigation of scientific documents in the area of knowledge of the conservation and restoration of cultural assets forms an intrinsic part, as defined in its title, the subject of the Master's Degree in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage, "Resources for research and scientific documentation”. It is intended to activate reflection and critical analysis in the subject in an incipient way in the study of the relationship between the conservation and restoration of cultural assets and gender, after the interpretation of the resources used in scientific research, in this way it is undertaken initiate and provide students with new tools where the role of women restorers and their scientific contributions in the field of conservation and restoration of cultural assets are identified and valued. To carry out this initiative, a specific practice will be developed through the reference manager, Mendeley, where the search for female authors will be addressed to value their studies through the corpus of their texts, monographs, articles, reports, manuals of reference, in relation to the theme or period of study of the activity in question requested as a learning object.[ES] La indagación de documentos científicos en el área de conocimiento de la conservación y restauración de bienes culturales forma parte intrínseca, tal y como está definida en su título, de la asignatura del Máster en Conservación y Restauración de Bienes Culturales, “Recursos para la investigación y la documentación científica”. Se pretende activar en la asignatura de forma incipiente la reflexión y el análisis crítico en el estudio de la relación entre la conservación y restauración de bienes culturales y el género, tras la interpretación de los recursos utilizados en la investigación científica, de esta forma se acomete iniciar y proporcionar al alumnado nuevas herramientas donde se identifique y valore el papel de la mujer restauradora/conservadora y sus aportaciones científicas en el campo de la conservación y restauración de los bienes culturales.
