    The role of storytelling, narrative as an important component of self-presentation in business communication is considered. It is investigated that the students of technical universities using storytelling spontaneously, do not link them with the concept of "business cooperation". The different tools of narrative practices used by psychologists and teachers for developing professional skills to freely express opinions in a given direction in terms of psychological patterns of the self-identity process and in terms of rhetoric are analyzed.Розглянуто роль сторітеллінгу (розповідання історій), наративу як одного з важливих компонентів самопрезентації в діловому спілкуванні. Досліджено, що студенти технічних спеціальностей у ВНЗ використовують розповідання історій спонтанно, не пов'язують їх з поняттям "ділова взаємодія".     Molecular Characteristics of Chitosan and Structure of its Films Formed from Water Solutions of Acetic and Hydrochloric Acids

    Molecular characteristics of chitosan in diluted water solutions of acetic and hydrochloric acids were studied by viscometry, dynamic light scattering, and thin layer chromatography. Chitosan molecules were found to undergo destruction in the solutions of hydrochloric acid and its mixtures with acetic acid. The structure of the chitosan films cast from these solvents was studied by DSC, TGA, and SEM. As shown by electron microscopic data, all the films had an amorphous-crystalline structure but the films prepared from chitosan solutions in diluted hydrochloric acid were characterized by a higher degree of crystallinity. It was supposed that a lower molecular mass of chitosan molecules in the hydrochloric acid solutions results in more extended conformations providing a higher capability of self-organization and formation of regular supermolecular structure. The difference in crystal modification in structure of the films cast of these acids was observed. It was found that the films prepared from the mixtures of acids had a spherulite structure and the crystal modification like ones cast from hydrochloric acid, but with a lower degree of crystallinity

    The paper deals with university knowledge transfer. The adjustment of relations between universities and enterprises makes knowledge transfer a necessary requirement for university development to ensure the implementation of market-oriented educational programs. The paper proposes use of modular competency-based and ontological approaches to ensure the university knowledge transfer. The initial data is presented in the databases of the university, authorized bodies of education and science, enterprises, business structures and professional standards. This data is processed and scanned for knowledge to be put into the knowledge database with technological (informational) and modular competency-based approaches.  As part of a market-oriented innovation university concept the task is to improve the education system in relation to skills development. To solve this problem it is necessary to build a distributed information system of university knowledge transfer. It is necessary to create a unified educational space - an educational portal - to ensure the university knowledge transfer between all participants - teachers, students and employers. The study offers an architectural solution for a distributed information system.Artykuł dotyczy transferu wiedzy uniwersyteckiej. Dostosowanie relacji między uniwersytetami a przedsiębiorstwami sprawia, że ​​transfer wiedzy jest niezbędnym warunkiem rozwoju uniwersytetów, aby zapewnić realizację programów edukacyjnych zorientowanych na rynek. W artykule zaproponowano zastosowanie modułowego podejścia opartego na kompetencjach i ontologii, aby zapewnić transfer wiedzy uniwersyteckiej. Wstępne dane są prezentowane w bazach danych uniwersytetu, upoważnionych organów oświaty i nauki, przedsiębiorstw, struktur biznesowych i standardów zawodowych. Dane te są przetwarzane i skanowane w celu umieszczenia wiedzy w bazie wiedzy za pomocą technologicznych (informacyjnych) i modułowych podejść opartych na kompetencjach. W ramach zorientowanej rynkowo koncepcji uniwersytetów innowacyjnych zadaniem jest ulepszenie systemu edukacji w odniesieniu do rozwoju umiejętności. Aby rozwiązać ten problem, konieczne jest zbudowanie rozproszonego systemu informacji o transferze wiedzy uniwersyteckiej. Konieczne jest stworzenie jednolitej przestrzeni edukacyjnej – portalu edukacyjnego – aby zapewnić transfer wiedzy uniwersyteckiej między wszystkimi uczestnikami – nauczycielami, studentami i pracodawcami.     Students’ Self-Directed Learning at Language University

    The article is devoted to the problem of self-directed learning of students of Language University. Self-organization is an integral characteristic of personality development. The authors studied the components of self-organization: self-assessment, some personal qualities, etc. Some peculiarities of self-organization of Language University students were revealed with the standardized questionnaires and questionnaires based on self-assessment. It turned out that students with high cognitive capacity have insufficient level of self-organization, low cognitive activity. Self-organization is formed in the process of independent work and autonomous learning. The authors consider the problem of educational autonomy development of students while learning foreign languages as an interdisciplinary problem, as a subject area of linguopedagogics. The research also studied methodological strategies for learning new vocabulary. The development of learning style activity depends on certain personal qualities related to native traits. The research about self-directed leaning of students is the basis for the development of pedagogical activities with the aim of developing the optimal style of educational methods. The content of this research is both theoretical and practical; we are creating conditions for effective cognitive activity

    Study of the value orientations and soft skills in modern senior high school students (in the context of the doctrine of sustainable development)

    The concept of sustainable development involves maintaining the stability of social systems through the development of human capital. The formation of values and universal skills of the youth population is an important component of human capital. The article studies the problem of the universal readiness of school leavers for academic activity and professional labor that is expressed by the degree of formation of value orientations, which are the basis for non-specialized soft skills. The level of development of soft skills of senior high school students in modern comprehensive schools, that ensures the behavioral characteristics of self-organization and work ethics, depends on the values they share, which were studied using the survey method. The randomized survey of senior high school students in Rostov region (N = 4037, 59.3% of girls), carried out in 2019, was aimed at identification of the elements of social collectivism - social egoism in the minds of young people and normative - deviant components of behavior motivation. The studied value orientations of young people were re-duced to social-cognitive elements and attitudes. The authors proceeded from the fact that evident social collectivism - social egoism is directly associated with manifestations of normative / deviant behavior. As a result of processing of the data obtained, a quantitative analysis and explication of the development of value orientations and soft skills in the field of work and organizational ethics of the modern contingent of secondary school students was represented, what made it possible to formulate the preferential directions of pedagogic work

    The latest achievements of fundamental physics as a tool of “culture shock” in education

    Specific topics from the field of the latest fundamental physics are proposed for their implementation in the educational process. It is proved that the considered ideas of elementary particle physics and cosmology contain stunning images. These are modern ideas about the structure of the Universe, about dark energy (cosmological vacuum), and the program for building a unified field theory, and the concept of a non-local observer in general relativity; and the accelerated expansion of the Universe with the Big Rip tendency of a Big Gap, and the geometrodynamic concept, and the multidimensional space-time of our Universe, and the superstring model, and the concept of spontaneous symmetry breaking of the cosmological vacuum. And finally, the anthropic principle. Their summary is given. These problems inevitably contribute to the formation of an association of surprise and surprise among students, which is a strong argument in favor of using shock pedagogy technologies. It is proved that the discussed issues serve the spiritual and moral enrichment of young people and the formation of personally significant qualities of their characters in contrast to the routine and moralistic attitudes traditionally used in the educational process. The question is raised about the need to allocate additional hours in the scope of the discipline “Physics” for students of natural science and engineering areas of training / specialties and to restore the status of the discipline “Concepts of modern natural science” for students of humanities / specialties

    Gender Diferences in Interactions with Avatars of Diverse Ethnic Appearances

    Background. Gender diferences exist in almost every aspect of our lives. Individuals have an array of diferent social expectations with regard to behaviors, communication,appearance, attitudes, and social roles, but these expectations tend to be based on whether the individual is male or female. Currently, many social studies have been done with the help of virtual reality technologies. Tey have been efectively applied to the study of many social phenomena such as nonverbal communication, social skills training, social anxiety rehabilitation, etc. Recently considerable attention has been paid to issue of gender diferences during social interaction with the virtual partners, avatars. However, the question of gender diferences during interactions with avatars of diverse ethnic appearances has seldom been studied. Objective. Te goal of this study was to investigate the gender peculiarities of interaction with avatars of diferent ethnic appearances. We used the CAVE virtual reality system to study gender diferences in interpersonal distances which were maintained with avatars. Design. We designed four three-dimensional virtual scenes with avatars of four diferent ethnic appearances. Tey were avatars of Slavic, Asian, North Caucasian, and African appearance. All the avatars were male. Te participants (who all identifed as Russians) were immersed in virtual environments with the help of the CAVE virtual reality system. Teir task was to approach the avatar, present herself/himself in any way they wanted, and give instructions for the work. During the task the interpersonal distances between the participants and the avatars were measured. Afer leaving the CAVE, the participants were asked to fll out a questionnaire assessing the Presence efect. Results. Te results showed gender diferences in how much interpersonal distance was maintained: women preferred to keep shorter interpersonal distances with their virtual partners than men did. Moreover, the results showed the impact of ethnic appearance on interpersonal distances. Women approached the avatars of their own ethnic group more closely and kept further away from the avatars of other ethnic groups. Unlike the women, the men stayed the same distance away from the avatars of diferent ethnic groups. Both gender groups kept equally far away from the avatar of African appearance. Gender diferences were also revealed in the participants’ estimates of the Presence efect. Conclusion. We developed a comprehensive method for analyzing the gender differences in interaction with the avatars, including both subjective (the sense of Presence, semantic diferential technique) and objective (assessment of interpersonal distance) characteristics. Tis method allowed us to assess gender variables during the social interaction using both behavioral and psychological responses. Te same method can be applied successfully to the study of gender diferences regarding other social phenomena

    Сравнительный анализ муниципальных образований Тамбовской области по объемам налоговых поступлений

    In the modern scientific literature, there is a fair amount of publications devoted to study of tax potential of the country and constituent entities, while the municipal tax potential is less well understood. This article analyses municipal tax potential on the example of one of the constituent entities of Russia - the Tambov region. Using multidimensional classification, the authors selected municipal entities of the Tambov region with the highest tax revenue and determine their socio-economic characteristics for 2013 and 2016. Comparative analysis of the composition of municipal entities included in clusters revealed a specific formation dynamic of municipal tax potential in the region. The authors obtained consolidated characteristics of territories with a maximum and a minimum level of tax potential and give generalized description of growth centers and territories with low rates of socio-economic development.В современной научной литературе достаточно много публикаций посвящено исследованию налогового потенциала страны и субъектов Федерации, в то время как муниципальный налоговый потенциал является менее изученным. В работе проведен анализ муниципального налогового потенциала на примере одного из субъектов РФ - Тамбовской области. С помощью многомерной классификации были выделены муниципальные образования региона, лидирующие по объемам налоговых поступлений, и определены их социально-экономические характеристики за 2013 и 2016 гг. При сравнительном анализе состава муниципальных образований, вошедших в кластеры, были выявлены особенности в динамике формирования муниципального налогового потенциала в рассматриваемом регионе. Получены сводные характеристики о территориях с максимальным и минимальным уровнем налогового потенциала, даны обобщенные характеристики центров роста и территорий с низкими темпами социально-экономического развития
