    Gestión para el cambio de la cultura docente a partir del proceso de la planeación didáctica

    El presente trabajo es una propuesta de gestión que busca favorecer el cambio de cultura en la función docente, específicamente en relación a la planeación didáctica. El proyecto se orientó a fortalecer el desempeño docente a través de un proceso personal y colaborativo de trabajo colegiado entre los miembros del equipo docente de la institución donde se elaboró. La metodología empleada fue la de intervención educativa, la cual nos permitió reconocer al sujeto en relación con el contexto y la dinámica de la interacción social, de tal modo que desde la perspectiva de la gestión, responda a las necesidades específicas del centro educativo

    Emissivity measurements conducted on intermetallic γ-TiAl-based alloys for aeronautical applications

    The directional spectral emissivity of a Ti–48Al–2Nb–2Cr alloy (in at.%), 4822 alloy, and a Ti-43.5Al–4Nb–1Mo-0.1B alloy (in at.%),TNM alloy, used in the aeronautical industry, are measured between 150 and 850 °C. The differences in the emissivity values between both alloys at the lowest temperatures, indicates that the βo phase, only present in TNM, exhibit higher emissivity values. By numerical integration of the measured data, the total directional and hemispherical emissivity have been calculated. At 850 °C the total hemispherical emissivity in vacuum are nearly identical with 0.274 ± 0.006 for the 4822 alloy and 0.273 ± 0.007 for the TNM alloy. The lower emissivity change with temperature measured in TNM alloys is related with the deconvolution of βo phase by diffusion processes. Afterwards, near-normal spectral emissivity measurements are performed in both alloys during isothermal oxidation treatments at 750 °C and 850 °C for 120 h. The emissivity data reveal that the TNM alloy exhibits higher oxidation resistance especially at 750 °C. In parallel, microstructural characterization has been performed before the measurements, after the directional emissivity measurements prior to oxidation and after isothermal oxidations. The formed oxide scale is composed of four layers that coincide with those reported in the literature: an outer layer of TiO2 contiguous with a layer of Al2O3, followed by a TiO2/Al2O3 mixed layer and finally a thin layer of Nb-rich nitride. This mixed layer governs the interferential part of the alloys’ emissivity spectra, which, in combination with the background, determines the overall radiative behavior of the alloys under service conditions.This work was supported by the Education Department of Basque Government via PIBA-PUE2021_1_0022 and IT-1714-22 projects as well as a predoctoral grant (M.     Comparative analysis of tissue-specific transcriptomes in the funnel-web spider Macrothele calpeiana (Araneae, Hexathelidae)

Nevertheless, current scarcity of genomic and transcriptomic data of this species clearly limits the research in this non-model organism. To overcome this limitation, we launched the first tissue-specific enriched RNA-seq analysis in this species using a subtractive hybridization approach, with two main objectives, to characterize the specific transcriptome of the putative chemosensory appendages (palps and first pair of legs), and to provide a new set of DNA markers for further phylogenetic studies. We have characterized the set of transcripts specifically expressed in putative chemosensory tissues of this species, much of them showing features shared by chemosensory system genes. Among specific candidates, we have identified some members of the iGluR and NPC2 families. Moreover, we have demonstrated the utility of these newly generated data as molecular markers by inferring the phylogenetic position M. calpeina in the phylogenetic tree of Mygalomorphs. Our results provide novel resources for researchers interested in spider molecular biology and systematics, which can help to expand our knowledge on the evolutionary processes underlying fundamental biological questions, as species invasion or biodiversity origin and maintenance

    The draft genome sequence of the spider Dysdera silvatica (Araneae, Dysderidae): A valuable resource for functional and evolutionary genomic studies in chelicerates

    Background We present the draft genome sequence of Dysdera silvatica, a nocturnal ground-dwelling spider from a genus that has undergone a remarkable adaptive radiation in the Canary Islands. Results The draft assembly was obtained using short (Illumina) and long (PaciBio and Nanopore) sequencing reads. Our de novo assembly (1.36 Gb), which represents 80% of the genome size estimated by flow cytometry (1.7 Gb), is constituted by a high fraction of interspersed repetitive elements (53.8%). The assembly completeness, using BUSCO and core eukaryotic genes, ranges from 90% to 96%. Functional annotations based on both ab initio and evidence-based information (including D. silvatica RNA sequencing) yielded a total of 48,619 protein-coding sequences, of which 36,398 (74.9%) have the molecular hallmark of known protein domains, or sequence similarity with Swiss-Prot sequences. The D. silvatica assembly is the first representative of the superfamily Dysderoidea, and just the second available genome of Synspermiata, one of the major evolutionary lineages of the 'true spiders' (Araneomorphae). Conclusions Dysderoids, which are known for their numerous instances of adaptation to underground environments, include some of the few examples of trophic specialization within spiders and are excellent models for the study of cryptic female choice. This resource will be therefore useful as a starting point to study fundamental evolutionary and functional questions, including the molecular bases of the adaptation to extreme environments and ecological shifts, as well of the origin and evolution of relevant spider traits, such as the venom and silk

    Measurement of the cosmic ray spectrum above 4×10184{\times}10^{18} eV using inclined events detected with the Pierre Auger Observatory

    A measurement of the cosmic-ray spectrum for energies exceeding 4×10184{\times}10^{18} eV is presented, which is based on the analysis of showers with zenith angles greater than 6060^{\circ} detected with the Pierre Auger Observatory between 1 January 2004 and 31 December 2013. The measured spectrum confirms a flux suppression at the highest energies. Above 5.3×10185.3{\times}10^{18} eV, the "ankle", the flux can be described by a power law EγE^{-\gamma} with index γ=2.70±0.02(stat)±0.1(sys)\gamma=2.70 \pm 0.02 \,\text{(stat)} \pm 0.1\,\text{(sys)} followed by a smooth suppression region. For the energy (EsE_\text{s}) at which the spectral flux has fallen to one-half of its extrapolated value in the absence of suppression, we find Es=(5.12±0.25(stat)1.2+1.0(sys))×1019E_\text{s}=(5.12\pm0.25\,\text{(stat)}^{+1.0}_{-1.2}\,\text{(sys)}){\times}10^{19} eV.Comment: Replaced with published version.     Energy Estimation of Cosmic Rays with the Engineering Radio Array of the Pierre Auger Observatory

    The Auger Engineering Radio Array (AERA) is part of the Pierre Auger Observatory and is used to detect the radio emission of cosmic-ray air showers. These observations are compared to the data of the surface detector stations of the Observatory, which provide well-calibrated information on the cosmic-ray energies and arrival directions. The response of the radio stations in the 30 to 80 MHz regime has been thoroughly calibrated to enable the reconstruction of the incoming electric field. For the latter, the energy deposit per area is determined from the radio pulses at each observer position and is interpolated using a two-dimensional function that takes into account signal asymmetries due to interference between the geomagnetic and charge-excess emission components. The spatial integral over the signal distribution gives a direct measurement of the energy transferred from the primary cosmic ray into radio emission in the AERA frequency range. We measure 15.8 MeV of radiation energy for a 1 EeV air shower arriving perpendicularly to the geomagnetic field. This radiation energy -- corrected for geometrical effects -- is used as a cosmic-ray energy estimator. Performing an absolute energy calibration against the surface-detector information, we observe that this radio-energy estimator scales quadratically with the cosmic-ray energy as expected for coherent emission. We find an energy resolution of the radio reconstruction of 22% for the data set and 17% for a high-quality subset containing only events with at least five radio stations with signal.Comment: Replaced with published version.     Measurement of the Radiation Energy in the Radio Signal of Extensive Air Showers as a Universal Estimator of Cosmic-Ray Energy

    We measure the energy emitted by extensive air showers in the form of radio emission in the frequency range from 30 to 80 MHz. Exploiting the accurate energy scale of the Pierre Auger Observatory, we obtain a radiation energy of 15.8 \pm 0.7 (stat) \pm 6.7 (sys) MeV for cosmic rays with an energy of 1 EeV arriving perpendicularly to a geomagnetic field of 0.24 G, scaling quadratically with the cosmic-ray energy. A comparison with predictions from state-of-the-art first-principle calculations shows agreement with our measurement. The radiation energy provides direct access to the calorimetric energy in the electromagnetic cascade of extensive air showers. Comparison with our result thus allows the direct calibration of any cosmic-ray radio detector against the well-established energy scale of the Pierre Auger Observatory.Comment: Replaced with published version.     El presente artículo muestra los resultados de un estudio comparativo con enfoque cuantitativo cuyo propósito fue analizar el impacto en el desempeño académico, la motivación y el grado de satisfacción de los alumnos de educación media básica al implementar el video como Recurso Educativo Abierto (REA) bajo la modalidad Blended learning, en la enseñanza de la asignatura de Matemáticas. El estudio se realizó en una institución privada ubicada al sur de la ciudad de Monterrey (Nuevo León, México), en donde a través de una evaluación post-test y la observación de varias actividades se detectó una considerable mejoría en el desempeño académico del grupo experimental con respecto al grupo de control; asimismo, la encuesta aplicada al grupo experimental mostró alto grado de motivación y satisfacción hacia la modalidad a distancia apoyada en el uso del video como REA
