    The work of the Jeromian monk Pedro de Alcalá, Arte para ligeramente saber lengua araviga (1505) –Art to slightly learn Arabic–, is a benchmark to show the attempt of dialogue between the Christian and the Muslim world. Written after the fall of the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada in 1492, it gathers the first texts printed in Nasrid Arabic and aims to spread the Catholic faith among the Muslim population. Inculturation of the faith, liturgical celebration and respect for the personal freedom will be the evangelization program of the above mentioned work.La obra del monje jerónimo Pedro de Alcalá, Arte para ligeramente saber la lengua aráviga (1505), constituye un hito en el intento de diálogo entre el mundo cristiano y el mundo musulmán.     Seeking the publication of Nebrija’s «Gramática de la lengua castellana» was an intuitive move on the part of Hernando de Talavera, Isabel the Catholic’s confessor. Talavera sought the promotion of the values found in the concept of State advanced by his benefactors, as well as a new comprehensible means to explain the Christian faith. The use of the romance language as a means of transmission of the values derived from the faith were used in the evangelization of Granada after its conquest along with other writings of the Hieronymite friar, Pedro de Alcalá, who favored the celebration of mass and initial Christian catechism in Arabic.La intuición del confesor de Isabel la Católica, Hernando de Talavera, de promover la publicación de la «Gramática de la lengua castellana» de Nebrija buscaba la extensión de los nuevos valores que quería generar la nueva concepción de estado que promovían sus penitentes, así como la explicación comprensible de la fe cristiana.     [Resumen] El descubrimiento de América supuso la creación de una arquitectura para la evangelización que ayudara a la iniciación cristiana de los indígenas precolombinos. El reconocimiento de las claves de esta arquitectura debe darnos pistas para la creación de espacios que ayuden a la nueva evangelización en Latinoamérica. La falta de medios materiales no fue óbice para crear esta arquitectura. Para ello se tuvieron en cuenta elementos centrales como pueden ser: la creación del atrio-plaza, lugar de encuentro, la caridad y la educación, la revalorización de la dimensión escatológica del templo cristiano, y las virtudes —tanto teologales como cardinales— como fuente de inspiración arquitectónica.[Abstract] The discovery of America meant the birth of an architecture designed to undertake the Christian initiation of pre-Columbian indigenous people. Recognition of the key elements of this architecture should give us clues to create proper spaces for the new evangelization in Latin America. The lack of material resources did not prevent the creation of this architecture. Therefore, some central elements were taken into consideration.     In this edition, the two events will run together as a single conference, highlighting the strong connection with the Taylor & Francis journals: Computer Methods in Biomechanics and Biomedical Engineering (John Middleton and Christopher Jacobs, Eds.) and Computer Methods in Biomechanics and Biomedical Engineering: Imaging and Visualization (JoãoManuel R.S. Tavares, Ed.). The conference has become a major international meeting on computational biomechanics, imaging andvisualization. In this edition, the main program includes 212 presentations. In addition, sixteen renowned researchers will give plenary keynotes, addressing current challenges in computational biomechanics and biomedical imaging. In Lisbon, for the first time, a session dedicated to award the winner of the Best Paper in CMBBE Journal will take place.     Digital Disconnection as an Opportunity for the Tourism Business: A Bibliometric Analysis

    The aim of this study is to carry out a bibliometric review of the existing research on digital disconnection and Digital Free Tourism (DFT) to discover the extent to which this new trend affects technology users and the tourism market. To do this, a systematic literature review and a bibliometric analysis of the research on digital disconnection contained in the Scopus and Web of Science databases were used. This research includes publications from 2012 to December 2021, which included a total of 37 publications about digital disconnection and digital free tourism in scientific journals indexed in the main scientific databases. The analysis concludes that DFT is a growing economic trend in research and that the phenomenon of digital disconnection is beginning to be a peremptory need for more and more users. This work is original and interesting for researchers specialising in technology addictions, as well as academics and professionals in the tourism sector, because the extensive use of smart devices is becoming a type of addiction in many areas and can be a new opportunity for the tourism market.     Assessing the impact of an antigen-specific antibody response on atherosclerosis development in mice.

    The antibody immune response plays a critical role in atherosclerosis. Here, we present a protocol for assessing the impact of an antigen-specific germinal center antibody response on atherosclerosis development, using a pro-atherogenic mouse model deficient for the production of germinal-center-derived antibodies. We describe steps for bone marrow transfer from donor mice into irradiated recipient mice. We then detail immunization of mouse chimeras with atheroprotective malondialdehyde low-density lipoprotein during high-fat diet feeding and atherosclerosis burden analysis.     This research investigates the knowledge of the Nursing Care in a specialised maternalpediatrics hospital within Mar de la Plata in Argentina. It is presumed of applying Positivist-Higienist beliefs, being the aim of the research identifying which nursing care come from science and which ones from beliefs, all applied in hospital patients. Sources, patterns and documentation used were revised as well as the presence of beliefs related to Nutrition-Metabolism, Elimination, Sexuality-Reproduction, Cognition-Perception and Values and Beliefs among others. The outcomes allowed us to set up convergences and divergences in the nursing care of nurses of that institution. The article suggests that institutions in charge of High Education should revise the teachinglearning process and come back to the widen fields of society. As M.C Davini (1995) proposes, “a unifying glance” of the study of aspects to solve situations which affect the practice of the subjects. There is still the challenge of stimulating the professionals to change the paradigm by means of the support of professional associations and academic fields.El estudio indaga los conocimientos del Cuidado Enfermero en un hospital interzonal especializado materno infantil de la ciudad de Mar del Plata, Argentina. Dada la presunción de aplicación de creencias de corte Higienista-Positivista en personas internadas, su objetivo, identificar cuáles de los cuidados enfermeros que allí se brindan provienen de la ciencia y cuáles de las creencias. Se revisaron fuentes, modelos y documentación utilizada. También la presencia de creencias respecto de los Fenómenos de Nutrición-Metabolismo, Eliminación, Sexualidad- Reproducción, Cognición- Percepción y Valores y Creencias, entre otros. Los resultados permitieron establecer convergencias y divergencias en las formas del cuidado utilizadas en la actualidad por enfermeros/as de esa institución. El artículo sugiere que las Instituciones encargadas de la Enseñanza Superior deberían revisar las formas de enseñanza-aprendizaje y en un movimiento de espiral volver a los ámbitos ampliados de la comunidad o, como propone M.C Davini (1995), una mirada integradora del estudio de los aspectos, a la solución de cuestiones que afectan a la práctica de los sujetos. Queda el desafío de estimular a los profesionales a cambiar de paradigma mediante el acompañamiento de asociaciones profesionales y ámbitos académicos

    Laminin G1 residues of protein S mediate its TFPI cofactor function and are competitively regulated by C4BP.

    Protein S is a cofactor in the tissue factor pathway inhibitor (TFPI) anticoagulant pathway. It enhances TFPIα-mediated inhibition of factor (F)Xa activity and generation. The enhancement is dependent on a TFPIα-protein S interaction, involving TFPIα Kunitz 3 and protein S laminin G-type (LG)-1. C4b binding protein (C4BP), which binds to protein S LG1, almost completely abolishes its TFPI cofactor function. However, neither the amino acids involved in TFPIα enhancement, nor the mechanisms underlying the reduced TFPI cofactor function of C4BP-bound protein S, are known. To screen for functionally important regions within protein S LG1 we generated seven variants with inserted N-linked glycosylation attachment sites. Protein S D253T and Q427N/K429T, displayed severely reduced TFPI cofactor function while showing normal activated protein C (APC) cofactor function and C4BP binding. Based on these results, we designed four protein S variants in which 4-6 surface exposed charged residues were substituted for alanine. One variant, protein S K255A/E257A/D287A/R410A/K423A/E424A, exhibited either abolished or severely reduced TFPI cofactor function in plasma and FXa inhibition assays, both in the presence or absence of FV-short, but retained normal APC cofactor function and high affinity C4BP-binding. The C4BP β-chain was expressed to determine the mechanisms behind the reduced TFPI cofactor function of C4BP-bound protein S. Like C4BP-bound protein S, C4BP β-chain-bound protein S had severely reduced TFPI cofactor function. These results show that protein S Lys255, Glu257, Asp287, Arg410, Lys423 and Glu424 are critical for protein S-mediated enhancement of TFPIα and that binding of the C4BP β-chain blocks this function
