Confiança como fator de redução da vulnerabilidade humana no ambiente de trabalho

O ambiente de trabalho predominante atualmente nas organizações complexas pode tanto atuar em favor da maior produtividade quanto debilitar a coesão e os laços de cooperação no trabalho. Neste último caso, faz emergir nos profissionais das empresas uma sensação de vulnerabilidade, traduzida por relacionamentos mais efêmeros e superficiais, que arrefecem a ação das pessoas. Neste artigo, trabalhou- se com a premissa de que o estabelecimento de um ambiente de confiança pode neutralizar essa sensação. O estudo teve como fim investigar se os profissionais percebem fragilidade nas relações de trabalho, como reagem à situação, e quais suas influências no processo de gestão. O material discursivo, recolhido de entrevistas em profundidade com gerentes de organizações multinacionais e nacionais de grande e médio porte, traz explicações para os motivos que levam à instalação da sensação de vulnerabilidade no trabalho. Essas reflexões permitem inferir que é possível instalar procedimentos de gestão, padrões de comportamento e cultura organizacional que atuem na reversão desse estado de coisas e desenvolvam ambientes de trabalho mais propícios.The currently predominant working environment in complex organizations may either operate in favor of enhanced productivity or weaken the cohesion and ties of cooperation in the workplace. In the latter case it causes professionals to experience a feeling of vulnerability, which translates into more ephemeral and superficial relationships that have the effect of moderating people's actions. This article worked with the assumption that establishing an atmosphere of trust may neutralize this feeling. The purpose of the study was to investigate if professionals perceive any fragility in their working relations, how they react to the situation and how it influences the management process. The material collected from in-depth interviews with managers of major and medium-size multinational and national organizations provides explanations for the reasons that lead to the installation of a feeling of vulnerability at work. These reflections allow us to infer that it is possible to install management procedures, behavior standards and an organizational culture that operate to reverse this state of affairs and to develop a favorable working environment

Social business and social innovation: the Brazilian experience

Purpose – The aim of this article is to contribute to the field of social businesses, particularly considering the dimension of social innovation. Design/methodology/approach – The authors adopted a qualitative approach, whose purpose is to gather in-depth insights into a problem to understand its contextual elements and interrelations. The authors used an exploratory descriptive design and a multiple case study, which allows the identification of similarities and differences in the research subjects. They developed a scale that enables the classification of the operation logic of the social businesses analyzed. Findings – It became evident that social businesses present a few differences in their modus operandi: those based on a social logic are more concerned with the generation of socio-environmental value, however with small-scale innovation; in contrast, social business guided by a market logic do not intend to generate socioenvironmental value in different dimensions and are more concerned with the wider range of their innovations. Research limitations/implications – This research analyzed social businesses from a founder and manager perspective and did not comprise all stakeholders. The purpose of this study was not to measure the effective impact generated by innovation, but to understand its potential to generate socioenvironmental value. Practical implications – The generation of socio-environmental value and the strategies to expand practices of social innovation are associated with the operation logic of social business. Originality/value – The created scale allowed the classification of social businesses in terms of operation logic (greater emphasis on market or social aspects) and proposes a few dimensions to evaluate a socioenvironmental innovation. &nbsp

La Amazonía y la Agenda 2030. Reflections of a review

La reseña procura sintetizar los principales aspectos del documento que establece una relación entre los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS), propuesto por la Agenda 2030 y los avances y desafíos para la región de la Cuenca Amazónica, que se extiende por ocho países de América Latina, y que contiene el ecosistema de mayor biodiversidad del mundo. El documento tiene el mérito de agregar datos de diversos investigadores y especialistas de forma muy clara, lo que permite al lector el acceso a datos actualizados y fidedignos agregados en cinco dimensiones: personas, planeta, prosperidad, paz, asociación. En tres cuadros temáticos (comunidades indígenas, gestión ambiental y de los recursos naturales, gobernanza multisectorial) se sintetizan los principales desafíos y las posibles soluciones. En esta reseña se enfatiza el papel de la educación emprendedora en la formación de liderazgos que ejerzan una influencia decisiva en los procesos transformadores que deben ser realizados en las dinámicas sociales, económicas, políticas y ambientales de la Amazonia para alcanzar el desarrollo socioambiental propuesto por la Agenda 2030. Esa formación debe impregnar la enseñanza desde la infancia, ya que se trata de la interiorización de los valores. Ya es perceptible en las iniciativas educacionales junto a los jóvenes estudiantes y adultos que buscar cursos de post- graduación, con buenos resultados en el surgimiento de nuevos emprendedores y gestores dedicados a la responsabilidad y sustentabilidad socioambiental.A resenha procura sintetizar os principais aspectos do documento que estabelece uma relação entre os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS) proposto pela Agenda 2030 e os avanços e desafios que se colocam para a região da Bacia Amazônica, que se estende por oito países da América Latina, contendo o ecossistema de maior biodiversidade do mundo. O documento tem o mérito de agregar dados de diversos pesquisadores e especialistas de forma muito clara que permite ao leitor acesso a dados atualizados e fidedignos agregados em cinco dimensões: pessoas, planeta, prosperidade, paz, parceria.  Em três quadros temáticos (comunidades indígenas, gestão ambiental e dos recursos naturais, governança multisetorial), nos quais são sintetizados os principais desafios e as soluções possíveis. Nesta resenha enfatiza-se o papel da educação empreendedora na formação de lideranças que exerçam uma influência decisiva nos processos transformadores que devem ser realizados nas dinâmicas social, econômica, política e ambiental da Amazônia para alcançar o desenvolvimento socioambiental propugnado pela Agenda 2030. Foucault and the desirable knowledge ofthe subject

O objetivo deste texto é discutir as principais polêmicas em tomo da concepção de sujeito em Michel Foucault, a partir de algumas perguntas sobre as relações entre a educação e a produção de subjetividade na cultura contemporânea. Para tanto, descrevo o percurso do autor no modo de pensar o problema do sujeito, em diferentes momentos de sua trajetória, utilizando como ferramenta um de seus mais produtivos conceitos: o da descontinuidade histórica. Finalmente, detenho-me no tema da confissão, tal como é apresentado pelo filósofo, sugerindo algumas possibilidades de análise dessa tecnologia de subjetivação, no campo da educação.The main purpose of this paper is to bring up the important issues related to Michael Foucault's concept of the subject, using some questions about the relation between education and subjectivity production in the contemporary society as a start-up. For that matter, I describe the author's path while he analyzes the subject's issue, in different moments ofhis trajectory, using one ofhis more productive concepts as my tool: the historical discontinuity. In the last part, I focus the study in the confession issue, as it is presented by the philosopher, suggesting some possibilities ofanalysis conceming this "technology ofsubjectivation", in the field of education

The pedagogical statute of the media: some issues of analysis

Discute-se no texto uma proposta de análise de produtos televisivos, que se orienta pela pergunta: que relação há entre a complexidade de elementos de linguagem de TV e a produção de sujeitos que devem ser desta ou daquela maneira formados e informados? Propõe-se uma metodologia de investigação cujo objetivo é mapear e confrontar entre si as diferentes estratégias de linguagem, na construção dos produtos audiovisuais, no intuito de caracterizar o "dispositivo pedagógico" da mídia, particularmente da televisão, supondo que os meios de comunicação constroem significados e atuam decisivamente na formação dos sujeitos sociais.The text discusses a proposal for analyzing television products, guided by he question: What kind of relationship can be established between the complexity of elements of television language and the constitution of subjects who should be formed and informed in one or another way? Assuming that the means of communication construct meaning and decisively affect the constitution of social subjects, it proposes a methodology of investigation, the objective of which is to map and compare the different language strategies in the construction of audiovisual products.
