First and second fundamental solutions of the time-fractional telegraph equation of order 2α
In this work we obtain the first and second fundamental solutions of the multidimensional time-fractional equation of order , , where the two time-fractional derivatives are in the Caputo sense. We obtain representations of the fundamental solutions in terms of Hankel transform, double Mellin-Barnes integral, and H-functions of two variables. As an application, the fundamental solutions are used to solve a Cauchy problem, and to study telegraph process with Brownian time.publishe
Eigenfunctions and fundamental solutions of the Caputo fractional Laplace and Dirac operators
In this paper, by using the method of separation of variables, we obtain eigenfunctions and fundamental solutions for the three parameter fractional Laplace operator defined via fractional Caputo derivatives. The solutions are expressed using the Mittag-Leffler function and we show some graphical representations for some parameters. A family of fundamental solutions of the corresponding fractional Dirac operator is also obtained. Particular cases are considered in both cases
Multidimensional time fractional diffusion equation
In this paper we present integral and series representations for the fundamental solution of the time fractional diffusion equation in an arbitrary dimension. The series representation obtained depends on the parity of the dimension. As an application of our results we study the diffusion and stress in the axially symmetric case for plane deformation associated to generalized thermoelasticity theory
“PERMACOAST”: Aproximação Conceitual e Metodológica Entre Gestão Costeira Integrada e Permacultura
Integrated Coastal Management systematizes a set of
processes and forms of planning, integration and use
of coastal natural and cultural spaces and resources, in
order to make the human settlements sustainable and
viable in these ecosystems. Due to their territorial specificities, the studies and research that support them
concentrate on the characteristics, potentialities and
conflicts of the coastal areas. However, there are great
possibilities for the improvement of this discipline, by the approximation with the references, principles and methodologies used in Permaculture, a discipline designed and applied for the sustainability of architectural arrangements and agroforestry productive processes. Both
disciplines are based on a set of references, based on ecological structures and processes (Systems Theory) and
the development of management systems of territories and natural resources, integrating the different approaches, with a view to sustainability (Traditional Ecological Knowledge, Comanagement of Natural Resources
and Ecosystem Based Management). The convergences and similarities between both disciplines can contribute
to its success, as well as its main differences: while Integrated Coastal Management predominantly acts on a
regional, national or international scale, in the technical and political field, promoting the socio-environmental
management process of spaces and coastal resources, Permaculture focuses on the local or regional scale, on
daily praxis, promoting direct management interventions, food production, energy generation, alternatives to
the circulation of products and services. Thus, we understand as pertinent, salutary and growing the tendency
to approach “integrated management of coastal areas” and “permaculture”, as an effort directed at the use and
conservation of ecosystem services provided by coastal spaces and resources.
Eigenfunctions and fundamental solutions for the Fractional Laplacian in 3 dimensions
Recently there has been a surge of interest in PDEs involving fractional derivatives in different fields of engineering. In this extended abstract we present some of the results developed in \cite{FV}. We compute the fundamental solution for the three-parameter fractional Laplace operator with by transforming the eigenfunction equation into an integral equation and applying the method of separation of variables. The obtained solutions are expressed in terms of Mittag-Leffer functions. For more details we refer the interested reader to \cite{FV} where it is also presented an operational approach based on the two Laplace transform
Fundamental solution of the multi-dimensional time fractional telegraph equation
In this paper we study the fundamental solution (FS) of the multidimensional time-fractional telegraph equation with time-fractional derivatives of orders and in the Caputo sense. Using the Fourier transform we obtain an integral representation of the FS expressed in terms of a multivariate Mittag-Leffler function in the Fourier domain. The Fourier inversion leads to a double Mellin-Barnes type integral representation and consequently to a H-function of two variables. An explicit series representation of the FS, depending on the parity of the dimension, is also obtained. As an application, we study a telegraph process with Brownian time. Finally, we present some moments of integer order of the FS, and some plots of the FS for some particular values of the dimension and of the fractional parameters and
Influência do pH na microestrutura e nas propriedades fisicas do suco de umbu em pò obtido por cocristalização / Effect of pH on microstructure and physical properties of umbu juice powder obtained by cocrystallization
