    Study of the Process e+ e- --> omega pi0 --> pi0 pi0 gamma in c.m. Energy Range 920--1380 MeV at CMD-2

    Full text link
    The cross section of the process e+ e- --> omega pi0 --> pi0 pi0 gamma has been measured in the c.m. energy range 920-1380 MeV with the CMD-2 detector. Its energy dependence is well described by the interference of the rho(770) and rho'(1450) mesons decaying to omega pi0. Upper limits for the cross sections of the direct processes e+ e- --> pi0 pi0 gamma, eta pi0 gamma have been set.Comment: Accepted for publication in PL

    Study of the Process e+eKL0KS0e^+e^- \to K^0_L K^0_S in the C.M.Energy Range 1.05-1.38 GeV with CMD-2

    Full text link
    The process e+eKL0KS0e^+e^- \to K^0_L K^0_S has been studied with the CMD-2 detector using about 950 events detected in the center-of-mass energy range from 1.05 to 1.38 GeV. The cross section exceeds the expectation based on the contributions of the rho(770), omega(782) and phi(1020) mesons only.Comment: 12 pages, 3 figures, uses elsart.cls, submitted to Physics Letters

    Measurement of ϕ\phi(1020) meson leptonic width with CMD-2 detector at VEPP-2M Collider

    Full text link
    The ϕ\phi(1020) meson leptonic width has been determined from the combined analysis of 4 major decay modes of the resonance (ϕK+K,KL0KS0,π+ππ0,ηγ\phi\to K^+ K^-,K^0_LK^0_S,\pi^+\pi^-\pi^0,\eta\gamma) studied with the CMD-2 detector at the VEPP-2M e+ee^+e^- collider. The following value has been obtained: Γ(ϕe+e)=1.235±0.006±0.022\Gamma(\phi\to e^+e^-) = 1.235\pm 0.006\pm 0.022 keV. The ϕ(1020)\phi(1020) meson parameters in four main decay channels have been also recalculated: B(ϕK+K)=0.493±0.003±0.007B(\phi\to K^+K^-) = 0.493\pm 0.003\pm 0.007, B(ϕKLKS)=0.336±0.002±0.006B(\phi\to K_LK_S) = 0.336\pm 0.002\pm 0.006, B(ϕπ+ππ0)=0.155±0.002±0.005B(\phi\to\pi^+\pi^-\pi^0) = 0.155\pm 0.002\pm 0.005, B(ϕηγ)=0.0138±0.0002±0.0002B(\phi\to\eta\gamma) = 0.0138\pm 0.0002\pm 0.0002.Comment: 14 pages, 3 figure

    The cross section of the process e+ e- --> pi0 pi0 gamma has been measured in the c.m. energy range 600--970 MeV with the CMD-2 detector. The following branching ratios have been determined: B(rho --> pi0 pi0 gamma) =(5.2^{+1.5}_{-1.3} +- 0.6)x10^{-5} and B(omega --> pi0 pi0 gamma) =(6.4^{+2.4}_{-2.0} +- 0.8)x10^{-5}. Evidence for the rho --> f0(600) gamma decay has been obtained: B(rho --> f0(600) gamma) = (6.0^{+3.3}_{-2.7}\pm 0.9)x10^{-5}. From a search for the process e+ e- --> eta pi0 gamma the following upper limit has been obtained: B(omega --> eta pi0 gamma) < 3.3 10^{-5} at 90% CL.Comment: 15 pages, 4 figure

    Measurement of e+e- -> phi -> K+K- cross section with the CMD-2 detector at VEPP-2M Collider

    The process e+ e- -> phi -> K+ K- has been studied with the CMD-2 detector using about 542 000 events detected in the center-of-mass energy range from 1.01 to 1.034 GeV. The systematic error of the cross section is estimated to be 2.2%. The phi(1020) meson parameters in the phi -> K+K- decay channel have been measured: sigma_0(phi-> K+K-) = 2016 +- 8 +- 44 nb, m(phi) = 1019.441 +- 0.008 +- 0.080 MeV/c2, Gamma(phi) = 4.24 +- 0.02 +- 0.03 MeV, B(e+e-)B(K+K-) = (14.27 +- 0.05 +- 0.31)*10(-5).Comment: 12 pages, 6 figures, 2 tables, uses elsart.cls (second version - some figures are corrected

    Investigation at a ϕ\phi--factory can shed light on several debated issues in particle physics. We discuss: i) recent theoretical development and experimental progress in kaon physics relevant for the Standard Model tests in the flavor sector, ii) the sensitivity we can reach in probing CPT and Quantum Mechanics from time evolution of entangled kaon states, iii) the interest for improving on the present measurements of non-leptonic and radiative decays of kaons and eta/eta^\prime mesons, iv) the contribution to understand the nature of light scalar mesons, and v) the opportunity to search for narrow di-lepton resonances suggested by recent models proposing a hidden dark-matter sector. We also report on the e+ee^+ e^- physics in the continuum with the measurements of (multi)hadronic cross sections and the study of gamma gamma processes.Comment: 60 pages, 41 figures; added affiliation for one of the authors; added reference to section

    Preventive and cessation therapy of mental disorders in patients with the acute coronary syndrome

    No full text
    An open prospective trial of 93 inpatients divided into two main groups (61 patients) - with mental disorders (31) and without mental disorders (30) and a comparison group (32 patients) was carried out. All patients survived the acute coronary syndrome (myocardial infarction, unstable angina). The efficacy and safety of both preventive and cessation therapy with pantogam active in mean doses 1.8 and 1.2 g /daily, respectively, was demonstrated in respect of heterogeneous depressive, anxiety and somatoform disorders of the neurotic level
