    The Empowerment Strategy for the Food Crop Farmers in Anticipating the Climate Change

    In Indonesia, the climate change and the global warming like changes in the pattern and distribution of the rainfall give impacts on agricultural production at large, especially in the food crops. These also cause droughts, floods, landslides, forest fires, rising temperatures in urban areas, and rising sea levels. The above impacts are felt by the farmers because those can lead to a decrease in production even the crop failure. This research aims to develop an empowerment strategy of the food crop farmers in anticipating the climate change in Central Java. The data used is the primary data obtained through in-depth interviews with key-person and the Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The Analysis Hierarchy Process (AHP) is conducted to determine the program priorities and strate gies. The result of research shows that anticipating the climate change should be synergistically conducted in four aspects: human resources, technology, institutional and production, by involving various groups in the society.     What has Happened to MSMEs Performance during the Pandemic in Central Java, Indonesia?

    This study aims to determine the relationship between survival strategies, legal protection, and demographic factors (business tenure, age, education level, marital status, and types of capital) with the performance of MSMEs in Central Java. The sampling method used was simple random sampling with a sample size of 153 MSMEs actors. The analysis used was multiple linear using SPSS 24.00. The results of this study show that the independent variable of Survival Strategy (X1) has a significant effect and contributed to forming resilience (Y1) of 75.8%. Secondly, the independent variable of legal protection (X2) has no significant effect in forming resilience (Y1); the contribution is only -2.0%, and the existence of legal protection decreases resilience by 2%. Thirdly, the relative contribution of the survival strategy (X1) independent variable in shaping resilience (Y1) is 102.7%. Fourthly, the relative contribution of the legal protection independent variable (X2) in shaping resilience (Y1) is -2.7%. Lastly, Diploma/Bachelor’s degrees have higher resilience than High School/Vocational School degrees, in which a bachelor’s degree contributes 59.32% to resilience. The study also shows that there is no resilience difference in each group of business status, age, business tenure, and types of capital.     Urgensi Keamanan Pangan Rumah Tangga dalam Menghadapi Pandemi Covid-19

    Abstract This study aims to examine the urgency of household food safety in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic. The data was collected using an online survey with simple random sampling technique.   The  number   of  respondents collected   was  135  respondents.   Data processing was carried out by SEM-PLS using the SMART PLS software. Based on the results of data processing, household expenditure has an effect on food safety. Nutritional knowledge variables also affect response toward pandemic. Access to food has a negative and significant effect on household expenditure. Household characteristics on access to food also have a  significant negative effect. This research provides theoretical and practical contributions which will also be discussed further in this paper. Karakteristik rumah tangga terhadap akses pangan juga berpengaruh negatif signifikan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoritis dan praktis yang juga akan dibahas lebih lanjut dalam makalah ini.     Salah satu yang dapat dilakukan Universitas PGRI Semarang untuk menangani hal ini adalah dengan memaksimalkan sumber daya manusia yang baik secara efektif dan efisien. Penggunaan sumber daya manusia yang salah dapat menyebabkan pengeluaran biaya yang berlebihan. Hal ini menyebabkan kinerja seorang karyawan harus dinilai untuk mengetahui kemampuan karyawan tersebut dalam mengerjakan pekerjaannya. Salah satu hal yang paling penting dalam pencapaian visi – misi sebuah industri adalah kinerja karyawan yang maksimal.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan di Universitas PGRI Semarang. Adapun variabel yang diteliti yaitu perencanaan sumber daya manusia, beban kerja,lingkungan kerja, kepuasan kerja dan kepemimpinan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 121 populasi. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive sampling sehingga terpilih 50 sampel dengan menggunakan rumus slovin. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer berupa jawaban kuesioner yang diambil dengan menggunakan googleform. Data diolah menggunakan uji asumsi klasik, uji regresi linier berganda, uji hipotesis, dan uji koefisien determinan (R2). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh perencanaan sumberdaya manusia, lingkungan kerja dan kepuasan kerja, terhadap kinerja karyawan secara simultan di Universitas PGRI Semarang.Kata kunci : perencanaan sumberdaya manusia, beban kerja, lingkungan kerja, kepuasan kerja, kepemimpinan, dan kinerja karyawa

    Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh kepribadian, kreativitas, dan lingkungan terhadap minat berwirausaha . Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survai dan data yang digunakan adalah data kuantitatif. Sebanyak 104 sampel diambil secara simple random sampling, dari jumlah populasi 140. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif persentase, uji asumsi klasik, dan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan program  IBM SPSS 16.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepribadian, kreativitas, dan lingkungan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat berwirausaha siswa kelas X SMK Cut Nya’ Dien Semarang, baik secara simultan maupun parsial. Dalam menumbuhkan minat berwirausaha perlu dilakukan beberapa hal, antara lain adalah : 1). Pihak sekolah dapat menyelenggarakan kegiatan-kegiatan yang terkait dengan kewirausahaan ; 2) Siswa lebih mengembangkan potensi yang dimilikinya dan menambah wawasan kewirausahaan; 3) Lingkungan siswa dapat mendukung dan memotivasi untuk berwirausaha.AbstractThis study aims to describe the influence of personality, creativity, and environment to entrepreneurial interests. The method used in this research is survey method and the data used is quantitative data. A total of 104 samples were taken by simple random sampling, from population 140. Data analysis technique used descriptive percentage analysis, classical assumption test, and multiple linear regression analysis with the help of IBM SPSS 16.0 program. The result of this research shows that personality, creativity, and environment have positive and significant effect to entrepreneurship interest of grade X students of SMK Cut Nya 'Dien Semarang, either simultaneously or partially. In growing entrepreneurship interests need to be done several things, among others are: 1).     This community service is carried out with the aim of providing assistance to members of the tourism awareness group in Tajuk Village, Getasan District, Semarang Regency, regarding ecotourism management, which includes the concept of ecotourism, governance, physical maintenance of ecotourism, promotion and analysis of community resource potential. The method used in this activity is by direct socialization to the community and FGD (Focus Group Discussion). The targets of this service activity are members of the Tajuk Village Tourism Awareness Group (POKDARWIS), who are actively involved in managing the tourist village. The Tourism Awareness Group was given training, socialization, assistance and empowerment regarding ecotourism management. The results of this service show excellent motivation from the tourism conscious group in planning ecotourism management, developing ecotourism through fulfilling facilities according to needs, maintaining tourism assets, and promoting and empowering the economy of the community around tourist attractions

    AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi minat orang tua memilih sekolah di SMK Negeri 2 Semarang. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan dengan populasi kelas X SMKN 2 Semarang tahun 2017 dan sampelnya siswa/siswi kelas X SMKN 2 Semarang berjumlah 120 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket dan dokumentasi, sedangkan teknik analissi data menggunakan uji prasyarat analisis dengan menggunakan uji normalitas, uji multikolinieritas dan uji heteroskidastisitas dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda., teknik pengumpulan data dengan angket, dan pengolahan data menggunakan program SPSS versi 20. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Sarana dan Prasasara, kualifikasi akademik guru, dan kompetensi lulusan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat orang tua dalam memilih sekolah SMK N 2 Semarang, 2) Produk pendidikan dan biaya pendidikan tidak berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap minat orang tua dalam memilih sekolah SMK N 2 SemarangKata Kunci:Faktor-faktor,minat,orangtua,Sekolah menengah kejuruan.Abstract This study aims to explore the factors that influence parents' interest in choosing a school at SMK Negeri 2 Semarang. This type of research is a quantitative research approach with a population of class X of SMK 2 Semarang in 2017 and a sample of students in grade X of SMKN 2 Semarang totaling 120 respondents. The instruments used were questionnaires and documentation, while the data analysis technique used the analysis prerequisite test using normality test, multicollinearity test and heteroskidasticity test and hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis, data collection techniques with questionnaires, and data processing using the SPSS version 20 program. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Facilities and Presasara, teacher academic qualifications, and graduate competency have a significant effect on parents 'interest in choosing SMKN 2 Semarang, 2) Education products and education costs do not significantly influence parents' interest in chose the SMKN 2 SemarangKeywords:Factors,Interest,parent,vocational high school

The sources of information in this study are Vice Principals of Facilities and Infrastructure, Business Center Management, entrepreneurship teachers, and students involved in Business Center in SMK Negeri 9 Semarang. Data were collected through interviews, observation and documentation. Validity of data is measured by data triangulation. Data were analyzed qualitatively by using interactive models from Miles and Huberman through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions.The results show that Business Center is a potential training place to develop entrepreneurial character where students can have direct practice through it. Management of Business Center in developing entrepreneurial character by using management function that includes planning, implementation and evaluation.
