El presente trabajo de grado se centra en el análisis de diferentes métodos y algoritmos utilizados para la localización en interiores teniendo en cuenta que el GPS no funciona óptimamente, de esta manera, se propone un modelo de localización que hace uso de las redes Wi-Fi y de distintos algoritmos implementados en un celular inteligente para que una persona se pueda localizar dentro de los edificios de la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.The contribution presented by the research is based on the analysis of different methods and algorithms used for indoor localization, where GPS does not work optimally, in this way, a localization model is proposed that makes use of technology Wi-Fi and different algorithms implemented in a smartphone so that a person can be located inside the buildings of the Pontificia Javeriana University.Ingeniero (a) ElectrónicoPregrad

Desarrollo de algoritmos para la coordinación de un sistema multirrobot cooperativo para tareas de búsqueda de fuentes de calor en entornos dinámicos

El desarrollo de tareas complejas en el ámbito de la robótica tiende a ser muy complicado con la implementación de un solo robot o un solo sistema; esto describe una dinámica idéntica a lo que sucede en la vida real con los equipos humanos. Es por tal razón que el auge de los equipos multirrobot ha venido tomando fuerza tanto en el ámbito académico como en el campo laboral. Existen varios enfoques que dan solución a este tipo de desarrollos. En esta ocasión el desarrollo e implementación de un equipo multirrobot enfocado en las tareas de búsqueda y localización de fuentes de calor se llevará a cabo con el diseño de un sistema reactivo basado en comportamientos siguiendo los lineamientos de Brooks y el paradigma reactivo. La publicidad online en el comercio electrónico y su influencia en las actitudes de los usuarios milenials en Lima Metropolitana

Los milenials son parte de la primera generación que crece al mismo ritmo de los medios digitales; la generación cuyo año de nacimiento está entre 1979 y 1994, tiene como principal característica que creció conectada tecnológicamente, preocupada por asuntos ambientales y sociales; esta generación siempre busca su bienestar ya sea en lo laboral o en su vida cotidiana, quieren vivir el momento y no priorizan las posesiones económicas. Actualmente es uno de los targets más importantes para el marketing, ya que es una generación con bastante influencia e interacción digital. La presente investigación busca conocer la generación que creció con el internet y su relación con la publicidad online, creada con el fin de promocionar bienes y servicios a través de canales digitales para lograr un mayor alcance, así como también crear marcas, relacionarse con los clientes y personalizar sus servicios. El objetivo principal de esta investigación es medir las actitudes de los usuarios milenials en Lima metropolitana frente a la publicidad online en el comercio electrónico, el cual debido a la coyuntura en los años 2020 – 2021, se vio incrementado de manera exorbitante por la necesidad de las personas en adquirir productos sin salir de sus hogares, debido a ello, se busca que la investigación sea útil para próximas investigaciones relacionadas con la publicidad online en una coyuntura de pandemia.Millennials are part of the first generation to grow at the same rate as digital media; the generation whose year of birth is between 1979 and 1994, has as its main characteristic that they grew up technologically connected, concerned about environmental and social issues; This generation always seeks their well-being, whether at work or in their daily lives, they want to live in the moment and do not prioritize economic possessions. An Approach to the Industrial Organization Engineering Background in Spain

[EN] In this article we review the historic background of Spanish Industrial Engineering and briefly compare it with its equivalents in the USA and other countries, indicating similarities and differences. We present the actions taken in Spain that have consolidated Organizational Engineering. First, we describe the early history in the older Schools of Industrial Engineering. We follow reporting the new Industrial Organization speciality in the Degree in Industrial Engineering and the Second Cycle of Industrial Organization Engineering that extends until the end of the last century. Enchondroma versus Low-Grade Chondrosarcoma in Appendicular Skeleton: Clinical and Radiological Criteria

Objectives. To determine the validity of clinical and radiological features of enchondroma and low grade chondrosarcoma, and contrast the biopsy results with the clinical diagnosis based on the history and imaging. Material and Method. The study included 96 patients with cartilage type lesions suggestive of an enchondroma (E) or an low grade chondrosarcoma (LGC) according to the clinical and imaging data. The hypotheses were contrasted with the biopsy. Results. Of the 82 patients studied completely, 56 were considered E (68.29%), 8 as LGC (8.33%) and in 18 (18.75%) were doubtful cases and considered as suspected LGC. Of these, the biopsy showed 4 E (25%), 10 LGC (50%) and 4 were not definitive. On the other hand, of the 56 cases diagnosed as E, 15 were biopsied, 5 of these biopsies turned out to be LGC (33.3%). The 8 cases diagnosed as LGC, were also biopsied and only 4 biopsies (50%) confirmed the initial diagnosis. Features analyzed in the study showed no statistically significant difference. Correlation analysis between the diagnosis issued initially and the biopsy result gave a value of 0.69 (kappa coefficient), which was considered a good correlation. Conclusion. Features analyzed did not have any statistical significance. However, there was a good correlation between initial diagnosis and biopsy's result

Fibroma desmoplásico del hueso: aportación de un nuevo caso

Se presenta un caso de Fibroma Desmoplásico localizado en cuello femoral en un paciente adulto joven de 34 años, al cual se le practicó una resección amplia de la lesión y una reconstrucción por medio de un compuesto de aloinjerto intercalar proximal y prótesis total de cadera (aloprótesis). Un año después de la intervención no hay recidiva local de la lesión y se objetiva una buena incorporación del aloinjerto al huésped; con buena función de la cadera. Se revisa la literatura y se discuten algunas consideraciones diagnósticas y terapéuticas de la lesión.A case of Desmoplastic Fibroma of the Bone, located in the femoral neck, in a 34 year old male patient is reported. The tumor was treated by wide resection, the reconstruction beem performed with an allograft-prostheses composite. One year after surgery, there was no local recurrence and a good is incorporation of the allograft to the host was observed. The patient showed a good hip function. The literature is reviewed and diagnostic and therapeutic considerations are discussed

Fracturas patológicas en la región de la cadera

Entre 1973 y 1992, fueron tratados en nuestra institución 20 casos de fracturas patológicas a nivel de la cadera, secundarias a metástasis esqueléticas. Se realizó tratamiento quirúrgico mediante osteosíntesis o artroplastias según la localización y la extensión de la lesión. En 8 casos, la fractura fué subcapital, en 6 fué pertrocantérea y en otros 6 casos fué subtrocantérea. En el tratamiento quirúrgico, se recalca la importancia de la fijación interna inmediata con la adición de metilmetacrilato y el uso de la radioterapia postoperatoria. Siempre se obtuvo la mejoría del dolor y un resultado funcional bueno en el 70% de los casos. En 7 casos, aparecieron complicaciones locales. El tratamiento quirúrgico debe ser agresivo en estos pacientes, ya que la rehabilitación inmediata es primordial en su calidad de vida.From 1973 to 1992, 20 cases of pathological fractures around the hip secondary to skeletal metastases were treated in our institution. The surgical treatment was performed by internal fixation or arthroplasty according the location and extension of the lesion. In 8 cases the fracture was located in the femoral neck, 6 cases were intertrochanteric fractures and 6 cases were subtrochanteric fractures. In the surgical management the importance of inmediately internal fixation, with the use of methylnietacrilate and post surgical radiotherapy are justified. Always the pain was relieved and the functional result was good in 70%. In 7 cases were local complications. The surgical treatment should be more agresive in these special patients, because the inmediately rehabilitation is essential in your quality lifes

Limiting spread of COVID-19 in an orthopaedic department-a perspective from Spain

Besides national and international recommendations, orthopaedic departments face significant changes in daily activity and serious issues to maintain their standards in musculoskeletal care during the pandemic Covid-19 crisis that we are facing. This report retrospectively addresses measures that were progressively put in place to modify in a week time the activity of a busy orthopaedic department in a large tertiary university hospital in face of the pandemic. Surgical priorities and surgical outcomes are key aspects to consider. The experience may offer some insight to areas where the spread of the disease may be slower or delayed. Abrupt stop of scheduled surgery and clinics is useful to adapt an orthopaedic department to the overall hospital resource reorganization. Orthopaedic surgeons need to be aware of the risks to patients and personnel in view of underdiagnosed cases, which make pre-operative Covid-19 evaluation mandatory for all surgical case

En esta investigación se realiza un análisis cualitativo de la lucha que se ha hecho en El Salvador por el respecto a los derechos de los trabajadores de los medios de comunicación. Se conoció las acciones desde el 2017 de la Asociación de Periodistas, la Procuraduría para la Defensa de los Derechos Humanos, la Iniciativa Social para la Democracia y, las opiniones de periodistas de Televisión, Radio, Periódico y Medio Digital. Es un tema que pone en perspectiva la importancia de buscar contar con una normativa en las leyes salvadoreñas para que los periodistas o toda aquella persona que labore en un medio de información, trabaje en las condiciones justas y acorde a su profesión
