    LusRegTes: A Regression Testing Tool for Lustre Programs

    Lustre is a synchronous data-flow declarative language widely used for safety-critical applications (avionics, energy, transport...). In such applications, the testing activity for detecting errors of the system plays a crucial role. During the development and maintenance processes, Lustre programs are often evolving, so regression testing should be performed to detect bugs. In this paper, we present a tool for automatic regression testing of Lustre programs. We have defined an approach to generate test cases in regression testing of Lustre programs.  In this approach, a Lustre program is represented by an operator network, then the set of paths is identified and the path activation conditions are symbolically computed for each version. Regression test cases are generated by comparing paths between versions. The approach was implemented in a tool, called LusRegTes, in order to automate the test process for Lustre programs

    Sand Spit Morphology at an Inlet on Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam

    Tidal inlets with attached sand spits are a very common coastal landform. Since the evolution of sand spits along coastlines influence the social-economic development of local coastal areas, sand spits have become the objects of numerous studies. However, previous studies have mainly focused on sand spits that are usually in the scale of hundreds of meters in width, whilst knowledge about the evolution of smaller-scale sand spits still remains limited. Therefore, in this study, the morphological change of a small and unexplored sand spit in front of Song Tranh Inlet on the west coast of Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam is investigated. Satellite images are first used to observe the morphological change of the sand spit and calculate the longshore sediment transport rates (LSTR) along the sand spit. Waves and beach sediments are collected at the study site to calculate the longshore sediment transport rate using the CERC formula. It is found that there is a seasonal variation in the evolution of the sand spit at Song Tranh Inlet. The longshore sediment transport rates along the spit calculated by image analysis are 39,000 m3^3/year, 66,000 m3^3/year, and 40,000 m3^3/year, whilst the longshore sediment transport rate calculated by the CERC formula is 72,000 m3^3/year. This study aims to contribute to the methodology for investigating the evolutions of small sand spits and, specifically, sustainable coastal management for Phu Quoc Island, which is well-known as the Pearl Island of Vietnam

    Study on the effect of carbon black, carbon nanotube on the properties of rubber blend acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (NBR)/polyvinyl chloride (PVC)

    The effects of carbon nanotube (CNT) in combination with carbon black (CB) on the properties of acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (NBR)/polyvinyl chloride (PVC) (70/30) were investigated. The results reveal that the maximal tensile strength of the rubber blend was obtained by the fillers ratio of CB:CNT = 39:1. At this filler ratio, the thermal stability and heat conductivity of the rubber blend were also significantly improved. The analysis of FE-SEM images and DMA diagram indicate that the dispersion of filler as well as the interaction between fillers and rubber matrix was improved by the incorporation of CNT. Keywords.     High prevalence of maternal mosaic monosomy X in pregnant women in Vietnam

    To demonstrate the prevalence of maternal mosaic monosomy X (MMXO) in a cohort of pregnant women in Vietnam. All 105,594 singleton pregnant women undergoing noninvasive prenatal screening (NIPS) between January 2019 and February 2021 in Vietnam were analyzed by measuring discordance between size- and count-based z-scores for chromosome X (ChrX) to identify suspected cases of MMXO and validated by fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) on maternal blood. We identified 295 (0.279%) suspected MMXO cases. After FISH analysis, MMXO was confirmed in 125 cases (42.37%), revealing the MMXO prevalence of 0.118% (95% CI: 0.097–0.139%) in this cohort. We found a relatively high prevalence of MMXO in Vietnamese pregnant women and demonstrated a strong influence of MMXO on the ChrX z-score using a count-based method, resulting in false positives. The size-based method is not sensitive to MMXO and therefore achieves higher PPV.</p
