В статті пропонується розглядати та оцінювати інноваційну модель діяльності
підприємства через так звану бінарну природу створюваного ним продукту (послуги), що з одного боку має
конкурентний зміст, тобто напряму пов’язаний з певними показниками, реально втіленими в товарі
перевагами над іншим товаром-аналогом, а з іншого – підвищує науково-технологічний рівень
підприємства, зумовлюючи інноваційні переваги інституціонального характеру, що і надалі стимулюють
його розвиток до самовдосконалення. Ці переваги ми відносимо до структурно-інноваційних, тобто таких, що мають вплив на подальшу модель розвитку підприємства з огляду інноваційності його функціонування
Long-Term Flux Monitoring of LSI +61 303 at 2.25 and 8.3 GHz
LSI +61 303 is an exotic binary system consisting of a ~10 Msun B star and a
compact object which is probably a neutron star. The system is associated with
the interesting radio source GT0236+610 that exhibits bright radio outbursts
with a period of 26.5 days. We report the results of continuous daily radio
interferometric observations of GT0236+610 at 2.25 and 8.3 GHz from 1994
January to 1996 February. The observations cover 25 complete (and 3 partial)
cycles with multiple observations each day. We detect substantial
cycle-to-cycle variability of the radio emission characterized by a rapid onset
of the radio flares followed by a more gradual decrease of the emission. We
detect a systematic change of the radio spectral index alpha which typically
becomes larger than zero at the onset of the radio outbursts. This behavior is
suggestive of expansion of material initially optically thick to radio
frequencies, indicating either that synchrotron or inverse Compton cooling are
important or that the free-free optical depth to the source is rapidly
changing. After two years of observations, we see only weak evidence for the
proposed 4-year periodic modulation in the peak flux of the outbursts. We
observe a secular trend in the outburst phases according the the best published
ephemeris. This trend indicates either orbital period evolution, or a drift in

Thermoluminescent detectors applied in individual monitoring of radiation workers in Europe—a review based on the EURADOS questionnaire
Among the activities of EURADOS Working Group 2 formed by experts from several European countries is the harmonisation of individual monitoring as part of radiation protection of occupationally exposed persons. Here, we provide information about thermoluminescent detectors (TLDs) applied by the European dosimetric services and the dosimetric characteristics of dosemeters in which these detectors are applied. Among 91 services from 29 countries which responded to the EURADOS questionnaire, 61 apply dosemeters with TLDs for the determination of personal dose equivalent Hp(10) for photons and beta radiation, and 16 services use TLDs for neutron albedo dosemeters. Those most frequently used are standard lithium fluoride TLDs (mainly TLD-100, TLD-700, Polish MTS-N and MTS-7, Russian DTG-4), high-sensitive lithium fluoride (GR-200, MCP-N) and lithium borate TLDs. Some services use calcium sulphate and calcium fluoride detectors. For neutron dosimetry, most services apply pairs of LiF:Mg,Ti TLDs with 6Li and 7Li. The characteristics (energy response) of individual dosemeters are mainly related to the energy response of the detectors and filters applied. Beyond the Refugee Crisis how the UK news media represent asylum seekers across national boundaries
Migration is one of the most pressing, divisive issues in global politics today, and media play a crucial role in how communities understand and respond. This study examines how UK newspapers (n = 974) and popular news websites (n = 1044) reported on asylum seekers throughout 2017. It contributes to previous literature in two important ways. First, by examining the ‘new normal’ of daily news coverage in the wake of the 2015 ‘refugee crisis’ in Europe. Second, by looking at how asylum seekers from different regions are represented. The content analysis finds significant variations in how asylum seekers are reported, including terminology use and topics they are associated with. The paper also identifies important commonalities in how all asylum seekers are represented - most notably, the dominance of political elites as sources across all media content. It argues that Entman’s ‘cascade network model’ can help to explain this, with elites in one country able to influence transnational reports
Phosphorus recovery: a need for an integrated approach
Increasing cost of phosphate fertilizer, a scarcity of high quality phosphate rock (PR)and increasing surface water pollution are driving aneed to accelerate the recovery and re-use ofphosphorus (P) from various waste sectors. Options to recover P occur all along the open P cycle from mining to households to oceans. However, P recovery as a regional and global strategy towards P sustainability and future food, bio energy and water security is in its infancy because of a number of technological, socio-economic and institutional constraints. There is no single solution and resolving these constraints requires concerted collaboration betweenrelevant stakeholders and an integrated approach combiningsuccessful business models withsocio-economic and institutional change. We suggest that an operational framework is developed for fast tracking cost-effective recovery options
A Multiwavelength Investigation of the Relationship Between 2CG135+1 and LSI+61o 303
We present the results of a multiwavelength monitoring campaign targeting the
gamma-ray source 2CG 135+1 in an attempt to confirm the association of this
object with the radio/Be/X-ray binary system LSI +61o 303. The campaign
included simultaneous radio, optical, infrared, and hard x-ray/gamma-ray
observations carried out with a variety of instruments, covering (not
continously) almost three binary cycles of LSI +61o 303 during the period
April-July 1994. Three separate OSSE observations of the gamma-ray source were
carried out, covering different phases of the radio lightcurve. Hard
X-ray/gamma-ray emission was detected from the direction of 2CG 135+1 during
the first of these OSSE observations. The signal to noise ratio of the OSSE
observations was insufficient to establish a spectral or intensity correlation
of the high-energy emission with simultaneous radio, optical and infrared
emission of LSI +61o 303. We briefly discuss the theoretical implications of

Clinical recommendations for pain, sedation, withdrawal and delirium assessment in critically ill infants and children: an ESPNIC position statement for healthcare professionals
Background: This position statement provides clinical recommendations for the assessment of pain, level of sedation, iatrogenic withdrawal syndrome and delirium in critically ill infants and children. Admission to a neonatal or paediatric intensive care unit (NICU, PICU) exposes a child to a series of painful and stressful events. Accurate assessment of the presence of pain and non-pain related distress (adequacy of sedation, iatrogenic withdrawal syndrome, and delirium) is essential to good clinical management and to monitoring the effectiveness of interventions to relieve or prevent pain and distress in the individual patient.
Methods: A multidisciplinary group of experts was recruited from the members of the European Society of Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care (ESPNIC). The group formulated clinical questions regarding assessment of pain and non-pain related distress in critically ill and non-verbal children, and searched the PubMed/Medline, Cinahl, and Embase databases for studies describing the psychometric properties of assessment instruments. Further, level of evidence of selected studies was assigned and recommendations were formulated, and grade or recommendations were added based on the level of evidence.
Results: An ESPNIC Position Statement was drafted which provides clinical recommendations on assessment of pain (n=5), distress and/or level of sedation (n=4), iatrogenic withdrawal syndrome (n=3), and delirium (n=3). These recommendations were based on the available evidence and consensus amongst the experts and other members of the ESPNIC society.
Conclusions: This multidisciplinary ESPNIC Position Statement guides professionals in the assessment and re-assessment of the effectiveness of treatment interventions for pain, distress, inadequate sedation, withdrawal syndrome and delirium
Memory effects induced by initial switching conditions
Initial-switching refers to the way in which the decay of an initially
confined state begins, as the barrier isolating it from the exterior is
relaxed. We study these effects in the context of Longhi's version of the
Fano-Anderson model. Most authors assume the sudden approximation where the
coupling is turned on instantaneously. We consider a finite rise time T, both
numerically and analytically. When the coupling is ramped up linearly over a
switching time T, we show that the asymptotic survival amplitude acquires a
phase T and is modulated by a factor (sin T)/T. Several other results relating
to the solution of the model are obtained. All site amplitudes have the same
decay constant during the exponential decay regime. In the asymptotic regime,
the amplitude and phase of decay oscillations depend on the initial-switching

Individual monitoring for internal exposures in Europe: Conclusions of an EURADOS action
Once the EC Directive 96/29 has been implemented into national regulation across Europe, the coordination of dosimetry laboratories for the monitoring of occupational exposures becomes the principal aim to achieve. Within this framework the European Radiation Dosimetry Group, EURADOS, carried out an Action on ‘Harmonisation of Individual Monitoring' (2000-2004) to promote coordination in the field of individual monitoring of occupational exposures throughout Europe. With reference to internal exposures, the main aims were the completion of a catalogue of internal dosimetry services and an inventory of methods and techniques used for individual monitoring at European internal dosimetry facilities. At the end of this EURADOS Action, a report was published in Radiation Protection Dosimetry in 2004. The information collected related to various topics: the equipments used for the measurement of internal exposures, calibration and sensitivity data, the methods applied for the assessment of internal doses, Quality Control procedures, Quality Assurance Programmes in the facilities and legal requirements.
