    Kesehatan dan healthcare menjadi hal penting saat ini mengingat pandemi Covid-19 yang sedang berlangsung. Internet of Things merupakan salah satu topik yang dapat mencakup aspek kesehatan dan healthcare serta telah diterapkan di kedua aspek tersebut. Beberapa fitur Internet of Things yang sudah diterapkan dapat membantu mengembangkan fasilitas yang dapat menjaga kesehatan manusia serta fasilitas kesehatan yang merupakan kebutuhan penting saat ini. Banyak hal yang mempengaruhi kondisi kesehatan manusia. Beberapa di antaranya dapat berupa kebersihan lingkungan, kondisi di dalam rumah, dan kualitas udara dalam dan luar ruangan. Internet of Things dapat membantu memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut dengan fitur-fitur seperti mengelola dan memantau kualitas udara, Smart Living, dan Smart Home. Fitur yang dimiliki Smart Home dapat menjaga kualitas kesehatan psikis dan fisik manusia. Smart Home dapat membantu menjaga kesehatan lingkungan karena memiliki fitur untuk membuat konsumsi listrik lebih hemat dan mengurangi pemborosan listrik. Artikel ini bertujuan menyelidiki hubungan antara Internet of Things dan penerapannya dalam topik kesehatan dengan memberikan gambaran tentang contoh fitur Internet of Things yang telah dikerjakan di bidang healthcare pada artikel lain yang diterbitkan. Artikel ini juga memberikan gambaran tentang perkembangan topik kesehatan hingga saat ini yang telah mengalami revolusi menuju sistem Healthcare 4.0

    PROFIL KOMPOSISI TUBUH KARYAWAN PT UNITED TRACTORS TBK

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis komposisi tubuh karyawan PT. United Tractors, Tbk. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan teknik survey yaitu dengan mengukur komposisi tubuh karyawan PT. United Tractors, Tbk dengan alat yang berbasis Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) yaitu alat Body Composition Scale dengan indikator penilaian utama adalah nilai tubuh atau body score. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT. United Tractors,Tbk divisi CESRSGACOM dengan melakukan total sampling kepada 66 orang karyawan divisi CESRSGACOM. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa karyawan laki-laki PT. United Tractors, Tbk divisi CESRSGACOM mayoritas memiliki komposisi tubuh yang tidak baik sejumlah 10 orang atau 20,41% dan karyawan perempuan mayoritas memiliki komposisi tubuh yang baik sejumlah 8 orang atau 47,06%. Aspek yang menjadi catatan yang harus diperbaiki pada karyawan laki-laki yaitu BMI, Lemak tubuh, Lemak viseral dan Kadar air, pada karyawan perempuan yaitu Lemak tubuh, Massa otot, Kadar air dan BMR

    The Use of QLRBP and MLLPQ as Feature Extractors Combined with SVM and kNN Classifiers for Gender Recognition

    Security systems must be continuously developed in order to cope with new challenges. One example of such challenges is the proliferation of sexual harassment against women in public places, such as public toilets and public transportation. Although separately designated toilets or waiting and seating areas in public transports are provided, enforcing these restrictions need constant manual surveillance. In this paper we propose an automatic gender classification system based on an individual’s facial characteristics. We evaluate the performance of QLRBP and MLLPQ as feature extractors combined with SVM or kNN as classifiers. Our experiments show that MLLPQ gives superior performance compared to QLRBP for either classifier. Furthermore, MLLPQ is less computationally demanding compared to QLRBP. The best result we achieved in our experiments was the combination of MLLPQ and kNN classifier, yielding an accuracy rate of 92.11%

    Comparative Study of Computer Vision Based Line Followers Using Raspberry Pi and Jetson Nano

    The line follower robot is a mobile robot which can navigate and traverse to another place by following a trajectory which is generally in the form of black or white lines. This robot can also assist human in carrying out transportation and industrial automation. However, this robot also has several challenges with regard to the calibration issue, incompatibility on wavy surfaces, and also the light sensor placement due to the line width variation. Robot vision utilizes image processing and computer vision technology for recognizing objects and controlling the robot motion. This study discusses the implementation of vision based line follower robot using a camera as the only sensor used to capture objects. A comparison of robot performance employing different CPU controllers, namely Raspberry Pi and Jetson Nano, is made. The image processing uses an edge detection method which detect the border to discriminate two image areas and mark different parts. This method aims to enable the robot to control its motion based on the object captured by the webcam. The results show that the accuracies of the robot employing the Raspberry Pi and Jetson Nano are 96% and 98%, respectively

    Development of Microcontroller-Based Ball and Beam Trainer Kit

    A ball and beam trainer kit based on microcontroller was developed for teaching control system course for the sophomore students. This specially-purposed kit consists of a ball located on a beam with a fixed axle at one of its end. At the other end, a servomotor was employed to control the position of the ball by adjusting the rotation angle of the servomotor. Seven predetermined positions were set to 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, and 70 cm relative to the fixed axle of the beam. The Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) scheme was then used to compensate the error. This kit is equipped with a user interface to configure controller coefficients, select the set points, plot the actual ball position, and display parameter values. The user interface program runs on PC or notebook connected to microcontroller via serial communications. A questionnaire-based assessment about the use of this kit was conducted by 17 students taking the course, giving a rating value of 94.12%

    Optimized PID-Like Neural Network Controller for Single-Objective Systems

    The utilization of intelligent controllers becomes more prevalent as the hype of Industry 4.0 arises. Artificial neural network (ANN) exhibits the mapping ability and can estimate the output by means of either interpolation or extrapolation. These properties are sought to supersede the classical controllers. In this study, the ANN establishment was initiated by collecting dataset from the input and output of a well-known PID controller. The dataset was trained using a set of control factor combinations, including the number of neurons, the number of hidden layers, activation functions, and learning rates. Two kinds of ANN controllers were investigated, including one-input and three-input ANN. The testing was conducted under normal and uncertain conditions. These uncertainties include external disturbances, plant variations, and setpoint variations. The integral absolute error (IAE) was selected as the single objective to assess. The simulation results show that the response of three-input ANN controllers could yield smaller IAE at their best combinations under most kinds of conditions. Besides, the three-input ANN outperforms the one-input ANN both qualitatively and quantitatively. These facts might lead to a broader utilization of ANN as controllers

    Enhancement of Motionability Based on Segregation of States for Holonomic Soccer Robot

    One of the critical issues when navigating wheeled robot is the ability to move effectively. Omnidirectional robots might overcome these nonholonomic constraints. However, the motion planning and travel speed of the movement has been in continuous research. This study proposed segregation of states to improve the holonomic motion system with omnidirectional wheels, which is specially designed for soccer robots. The system used five separate defined states in order to move toward all directions by means of speed variations of each wheel, yielding both linear and curved trajectories. The controller received some parameter values from the main controller to generate robot motion according to the game algorithm. The results show that the robot is able to move in an omnidirectional way with the maximum linear speed of 3.2 m/s. The average error of movement direction is 4.3°, and the average error of facing direction is 4.8°. The shortest average time for a robot to make a rotational motion is 2.84 seconds without any displacement from the pivot point. Also, the robot can dribble the ball forward and backward successfully. In addition, the robot can change its facing direction while carrying the ball with a ball shift of less than 15 cm for 5 seconds. The results shows that state segregations improve the robots capability to conduct many variations of motions, while the ball-handling system is helpful to prevent the ball gets disengaged from the robot grip so the robot can dribble accordingly

    Implementasi Kendali PID Menggunakan Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan Backpropagation

    Jaringan syaraf tiruan adalah salah satu representasi dari Artificial Intelligence yang dapat melatih suatu sistem menjadi cerdas. Pada penelitian ini, jaringan syaraf tiruan akan dilatih dengan metode Backpropagation untuk menggantikan pengendali konvensional, yaitu pengendali PID yang diimplementasikan dengan Matlab. Dataset pelatihan jaringan syaraf tiruan diambil dari input dan output pengendali PID pada sebuah sistem closed loop. Dengan setpoint dan plant yang sama, jaringan syaraf tiruan dapat memiliki unjuk kerja yang menyerupai pengendali PID. Pengujian dilakukan dengan tools simulink di Matlab. Hasil data yang dilatih dapat dilihat dari grafik dan parameter pelatihan. Pada parameter pelatihan dapat menunjukkan jumlah epochs, validation checks dan gradient descent, sedangkan hasil grafik dapat menjelaskan informasi Performance, Training State dan Regression. Percobaan dilakukan dua kali, dengan gangguan luar dan tanpa gangguan luar. Hasil percobaan akan membandingan kestabilan dan kehandalan terhadap gangguan dari luar dibandingkan dengan pengendali PID

    Fermentation optimizer aids have been common around us in both laboratories and home industries. However, these aids only served as incubator and sometimes cannot optimize the fermentation process due to the increasing humidity in a closed box. Nevertheless, adding holes to the box will not lead to a better result since unwanted bacterias come into the box. Therefore, a fermentation optimizer aids has been realized with two separate functions, namely fermentation incubator and post-fermentation dryer. This kit works in the temperature ranging from 35 degree C – 120 degree C, and equipped with two exhaust fans to minimize the humidity in both fermentation and dryermodes. The SHT11 was utilized to measure the temperature and relative humidity. A ceramic heater was used to warm up the air inside the box as desired by users. As the user interface, keypad and character LCD were used. ArduinoMega2560 serves as the main controller of the whole system. Compared to the conventional fermentation process, this kit works 9 hours faster and the fermentation objects are perfectly fermented

    As the confirmed Covid-19 cases increase, the health promotion and disease-preventing actions become more prevalent in the society, including the proper handwashing campaign. Thus, contactless handwashing machines were constructed to educate the society how to wash hands complying with WHO standards.  This machine integrated all the steps of proper handwashing processes, starting from wetting the hands, applying soap, rinsing the hands, and drying the hands, automatically without the need of physical contact. For each handwashing step, an instructional voice is produced to guide the hand washer. The outcome of this community service is the availability of contactless handwashing machines in several spots in Salatiga city, which at the same time serves as educational tools for the society.Dengan terus meningkatnya kasus positif Covid-19, maka upaya promotif dan preventif harus terus digalakkan, salah satunya melalui kampanye cuci tangan menggunakan sabun. Untuk itulah direalisasikan alat cuci tangan nirsentuh yang dapat memandu pengguna cara cuci tangan yang benar sesuai standar WHO. Alat ini mengintegrasikan seluruh proses cuci tangan yang benar, dimulai dari membasahi tangan dengan air, memakai sabun, membilas, hingga mengeringkan tangan, secara otomatis tanpa perlu kontak fisik. Pada tiap tahap cuci tangan, terdapat suara instruksi yang dapat memandu penggunanya. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah tersedianya alat cuci tangan nirsentuh pada berbagai titik kota Salatiga dan instansi sekaligus sebagai sarana edukatif bagi masyarakat
