    Project-based learning based on local wisdom through google classroom to improve process skills in pandemic times

    This research aims to improve the science process skills of biology education students during the Covid 19 pandemic. This research was carried out at the Biology Education Study Program, the University of Flores, from May to July 2021. The type of research used is experimental research with observation and product assessment. The process skills, performance, and product assessment data are then analyzed using a simple statistical formula and then converted into value categories and interpreted based on the criteria. The quality of improving science process skills is measured using the N-gain formula and categorized based on the rubric of improvement interpretation. The results show that project-based learning based on local wisdom through google classroom is proven to train science process skills 85% to 89% in the good category with the quality test for improving science process skills in the high category. In addition, the results of measuring project performance skills that integrate the potential of local wisdom in the project get a score of 85% to 90% in the good and very good categories. Product ratings get an average score of 87% for product appearance and 83% for product quality, and both are in a good category. So, it can be concluded that the project-based learning (PjBl) model based on local wisdom through the google classroom media can train and improve several science process skills and performance can also increase the competence of prospective biology teacher students through real work of scientific product creativity

    This study aims to reveal the competence of science teachers in implementing the Education Unit Level in SMP/MTs Ende Regency: the ability of teachers in terms of pedagogical and professional competence, pedagogic competence is limited to the ability in planning, implementation and evaluation, and professional competence is limited to the mastery of the material and educational background. This research was conducted eith survey approach. Subject were jujnior high school junior teachers, principals, and students at six school. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire, interview, observation guidelines, documentation. Data were analyzed by using qualitative descriptive analysis. The man score of the competence of science teachers in SMP/MTs Ende Regency, at 84,5 pedagogical competence and the excellent category of professional competence 32,22 very good category. &nbsp

    Use of Used Materials as Learning Media in Increasing Student Science Process Skills

      This study aims to find out the use of used materials as learning media in improving the science process skills of class VII students of SMP SATAP Negeri 7 Ende. This type of research is a quantitative research, experimental method and uses a pre-experimental design and a one-shot case study model, that is, there is a group given a treatment/treatment and then the results are observed. The population in this study was all students of class VII SMP SATAP Negeri 7 Ende academic year consisting of two classes with a total of 44 students and the sample was class VIIA with 22 students. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The data obtained from the research sample is in the form of observation data on students' science process skills. Data analysis was performed by t-test. The results of the study show that the use of used materials as learning media can improve the science process skills of class VII students of SMP SATAP Negeri 7 Ende. This is evidenced by the value of tcount ≥ ttable, that is 8.466 ≥ 1.797 with a significant level of 0.05 and dk = 31 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted (the proposed hypothesis is accepted).Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetаhui pemаnfааtаn bahan bekas sebagai media pembelajaran  dаlаm meningkаtkаn keterаmpilаn proses sаins siswа kelas VII SMP  SATAP Negeri 7  Ende. Jenis penelitiаn ini iаlаh penelitian kuаntitаtif, metode eksperimen dan menggunakan pre-exsperimentаl design sertа model one-shot cаse study  yаitu, terdаpаt suаtu kelompok diberi treаtmen/perlаkuаn dаn selаnjutnyа di observаsi hаsilnyа. Populаsi dаlаm penelitiаn ini аdаlаh seluruh siswа kelаs VII SMP SATAP Negeri 7 Ende tаhun pelаjаrаn yаng terdiri dаri dua kelаs dengаn jumlаh  siswа 44 orаng dan sampelnya adalah  kelas VIIA dengan jumlah siswa 22 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah simple rаndom sаmpling. Dаtа yang diperoleh dari sampel penelitian berupa data observasi keterampilan proses sains siswa. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemanfataan bahan bekas sebagai media pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas VII SMP SATAP Negeri 7  Ende. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan  nilai = 8.466 ≥ 1.797 dengan taraf signifikan 0,05 dan dk=31 sehingga Ho ditolаk dаn H1 diterimа (hipotesis yang diajukan diterima)

    Kenere Village is one of the villages in the South Solor sub-district, East Flores district. In this COVID-19 pandemic situation, community activities are limited so that teaching and learning activities for students in schools are also limited resulting in many students being careless in learning. Therefore, with the guidance carried out at school and following the provisions that students who come to school at least 4-5 people besides that guidance is also carried out from home or BDR with this guidance activity students are guided to train and guide students who are slow in learning to better study hard to get good results.     This study aims to find out whether or not there are connections between classroom management with the achievement studied physics grade VIII semester 4 SMP Negeri 2 Ende. Correlation between classroom management and student learning achievements with the value amounting to 0.692 rxy. The results showed that there were significant relationships between classroom management with the achievement studied physics grade VIII semester 4 SMP Negeri 2 Ende. This is demonstrated by the acquisition of r_hitung value = 0,692 > r_tabel = 0,239 determination coefficient with the contribution amounted to 47.8%

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan lingkungan sekitar sekolah sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMPK ST. Gabriel Ndona. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Desain penelitian one grup eksperimen desain (one group, pretest post-test). Populasi penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VII SMPK St. Gabriel Ndona yang berjumlah 29 orang dan sekaligus dijadikan sebagai sampel, cara yang diperoleh dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis statistik deskriptif. Analisis data menunjukan bahwa adanya pengaruh penggunaan lingkungan sekolah sebagai media pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup kelas VII SMPK ST. Gabriel Ndona.  Hal ini dibuktikan dengan rata-rata hasil belajar aspek kognitif sebesar 85,52, untuk hasil belajar aspek afektif siswa sebesar 87,66 dan hasil belajar aspek psikomotorik siswa yaitu sebesar 88,14. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji t (paired sampel t-test), maka dapat diperoleh hasil bahwa Sig. (2 tailed)= 0,000 < 0,05, maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan media diorama dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Ndona. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa/siswi kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Ndona yang terdiri dari 6 kelas yang berjumlah 156 orang, dan sampel dalam penelitian berjumlah 30 siswa dengan teknik simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, tes, angket, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji t. Dari hasil perhitungan uji hipotesis menunjukan bahwa nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa nilai Sig. (2-tailed) lebih kecil dari 0,05 atau (0,0000,05) maka dapat disimpulkan H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media diorama berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Ndon

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan motivasi mahasiswa pendidikan biologi materi Genetika pada mata kuliah Biologi Dasar melalui penggunaan media animasi. Penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif ini menggunakan desain penelitian one group pretest-postest design. Penelitian dilakukan pada September sampai November 2018. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa di Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi Universitas Flores, sedangkan sampel penelitian mahasiswa semester satu Tahun Akademik 2018/2019 yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dan angket. Analisis data untuk hasil belajar dan motivasi menggunakan rumus statistik sederhana dalam persentase. Besarnya peningkatan atau gain score hasil belajar dianalisis dengan rumus Hake, sedangkan motivasi dikategorikan sesuai rubrik kriteria penilaian motivasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan media animasi mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar dan motivasi mahasiswa. Hasil belajar dan motivasi mahasiswa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran berbantuan media animasi termasuk kategori tinggi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media animasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan motivasi mahasiswa pada materi Genetika. The aim of this study was to improve biological education students’ learning outcome and motivation on Genetic subject in Common Biology Course using the animation media. This quantitative descriptive study used one group pretest-posttest design as research design. This study was conducted from September to November 2018 with the population were all students in the first semester of the 2018/2019 academic year of Biology Education, Flores University, were determined using purposive sampling technique. The data collection used test technique and questionnaire. Analyze data for learning outcomes and motivation used a simple statistical formula as a percentage. The magnitude of the increase or gain score of learning outcome was analyzed by Hake formula, while the motivation was categorized according to rubric of motivation assessment criteria. The results showed that the using of animation media was able to increase students’ learning outcome and motivation. Students’ learning outcome and motivation after participating in learning assisted by animation media were in high category.     APLIKASI HAND SANITIZER DARI BAHAN ALAMI SEBAGAI ANTISEPTIK TANGAN BAGI MASYARAKAT DESA DILE KECAMATAN DETUSOKO

    ABSTRAKCovid-19 yang melanda dunia mengakibatkan pemerintah mengeluarkan peraturan patuhi protokol kesehatan yang salah satunya adalah menjaga kebersihan dengan mencuci tangan. Menjaga kebersihan adalah hal wajib yang harus selalu dilakukan oleh siapapun dan kapanpun. Salah satunya adalah menjaga kebersihan tangan, pasalnya tangan adalah bagian tubuh yang sangat rentan dengan mudah menjadi tempat bersarangnya virus, dan bakteri. Tangan sebagai organ tubuh yang sering kali berinteraksi, menyentuh dan dapat menjadi media penyebaran kuman, virus serta bakteri yang berbahaya. Cara yang dapat dilakukan masyarakat dengan menggunakan cairan hand sanitizer sebagai alat sterilisasi tangan agar terhindar dari wabah virus corona yang mematikan. Cairan hand sanitizer yang dibuat dari bahan alami yang ada dilingkungan tempat tinggal masyarakat, mudah didapat, lebih murah dan efektif. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan petunjuk pembuatan cairan hand sanitizer bagi masyarakat desa Dille sekaligus memanfaatkan bahan tradisional dalam pembuatannya. Bahan yang digunahkan adalah daun siri, jeruk nipis, lidah buaya, kemangi dan ketimun. Semua bahan yang disediakan dihaluskan, diperas diambil airnya kemudian dicampurkan. Setelah proses pembuatan dilakukan kemudian dikemas dalam botol dengan tiga varian rasa yaitu rasa timangi (campuran kemangi dan timun), rasa silibar (campuran daun siri dan lidah buaya), rasa jeriya (campuran jeruk nipis dan lidah buaya).Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan sekaligus prantikum pada masyarakat desa Dille sejumlah 16 orang. Hasil evaluasi dari kelompok PKM adalah para peserta penyuluhan bisa mempraktekan dan menularkan kepada tetangga dan keluarga tentang cara pembuatan hand sanitizer untuk kesehatan Persentase keberhasilan baik softskil maupun hardskil mencapai 90% dan dari nilai ekonomisnya mencapai 100%, karena mereka menggunakan bahan alam dan botol bekas tanpa hasur membeli.   Kata kunci: hand sanitizer; bahan alami; antiseptik  ABSTRACTThe Covid-19 that hit the world has forced the government to issue regulations to comply with health protocols, one of which is maintaining cleanliness by washing hands. Maintaining cleanliness is a mandatory thing that must be done by anyone at any time. One of them is maintaining hand hygiene, because hands are a very vulnerable part of the body that easily becomes a nesting place for viruses and bacteria. Hands as organs of the body that often interact, touch and can be a medium for the spread of germs, viruses and harmful bacteria. The way that people can do is use hand sanitizer liquid as a hand sterilization tool to avoid the deadly corona virus outbreak. Hand sanitizer liquid made from natural ingredients that exist in the community's living environment, is easy to obtain, cheaper and effective. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide instructions for making hand sanitizer liquid for the people of Dille village while utilizing traditional materials in its manufacture. The ingredients used are siri leaves, lime, aloe vera, basil and cucumber. All the ingredients provided are mashed, squeezed, the water is taken and then mixed. After the manufacturing process is carried out, it is packaged in bottles with three flavors, namely timangi flavor (a mixture of basil and cucumber), silibar flavor (a mixture of siri leaves and aloe vera), jeriya flavor (a mixture of lime and aloe vera). The method used is counseling as well as practicum to the 16 people of Dille village community. The results of the evaluation from the PKM group were that the counseling participants could practice and transmit to their neighbors and family about how to make hand sanitizers for health. The percentage of success for both soft skills and hard skills reached 90% and the economic value reached 100%, because they used natural ingredients and used bottles without hasur buy. Keywords: hand sanitizer; natural ingredients; antisepti
