    Mackey group categories and their simple functors

The key ingredient to this classification is a bijection between some RM-functors (not necessarily simple) and some morphisms of EndRM(G).     Análisis bioquímico, composicional y espectral del aceite de semilla de isot (pimiento Urfa) y evaluación de sus características funcionales

    In this study, the physicochemical, functional, and antimicrobial properties of pepper seed oil (PSO) were determined. PSO was subjected to differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), fatty acid composition, carotenoid, capsaicin, and tocopherol analyses. LC-ESI-MS/MS and NMR were used to characterize and quantify phytochemicals. Resveratrol, luteolin, and 4-hydroxycinnamic acid were the principal phenolics in PSO. A high concentration of unsaturated fatty acids (85.3%), especially linoleic acid (73.7%) is present in PSO. Capsaicin, dihydrocapsaicin, α-tocopherol, δ-tocopherol, zeaxanthin, and capsanthin were determined in PSO at concentrations of 762.92, 725.73, 62.40, 643.23, 29.51, 16.83 ppm, respectively. PSO displayed inhibitory activity against α-glucosidase rather than α-amylase. The antimicrobial activity of PSO was tested against Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus subsp. aureus, Aspergillus brasiliensis and Candida albicans. The antimicrobial potential of PSO was expressed as minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC), minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC) and inhibition zone (IZ) diameter. Polyunsaturated fatty acid, capsaicin, carotenoid, tocopherol, resveratrol contents; the antioxidant, α-glucosidase inhibitory and antimicrobial activities of PSO indicated its nutritional value and health promoting nature for the well-being of humans.En este estudio se determinaron las propiedades fisicoquímicas, funcionales y antimicrobianas del aceite de semilla de pimiento (ASP). El ASP se sometió a análisis de calorimetría diferencial de barrido (DSC), composición en ácidos grasos, carotenoides, capsaicina y tocoferoles. LC-ESI-MS / MS y RMN se usaron para caracterizar y cuantificar fitoquímicos. El resveratrol, la luteolina y el ácido 4-hidroxicinámico fueron los principales compuestos fenólicos en el ASP. Una alta concentración de ácidos grasos insaturados (85,3%), especialmente ácido linoleico (73,7%) están presentes en el ASP. Se determinaron capsaicina, dihidrocapsaicina, α-tocoferol, δ-tocoferol, zeaxantina y capsantina en el ASP en concentraciones de 762.92, 725.73, 62.40, 643.23, 29.51, 16.83 ppm, respectivamente. ASP mostró actividad inhibitoria contra la α-glucosidasa en lugar de la α-amilasa. La actividad antimicrobiana de ASP se probó contra Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus subsp. aureus, Aspergillus brasiliensis y Candida albicans. El potencial antimicrobiano de ASP se expresó como concentración inhibitoria mínima (MIC), concentración bactericida mínima (MBC) y diámetro de la zona de inhibición (IZ). Los contenidos de ácidos grasos insaturados, capsaicina, carotenoide, tocoferol, resveratrol; las actividades antioxidantes, inhibidoras de la α-glucosidasa y antimicrobianas del ASP indicaron su valor nutritivo y la naturaleza promotora de la salud y el bienestar humano

    The Kurds, the largest minority in Turkey, have almost no visibility in Turkish sports. While Kurdish sportspeople are not discouraged from joining in sports activities, their participation is heavily monitored by the government agencies against any manifestation of ethnic identity. Football in the Kurdish regions, seen by the Turkish state as a tool to distract Kurdish youth from political activities, has always been subject to the direct intervention of the civil and military bureaucracy, their presence in club boards is not uncommon. However, a third-division club named Amedspor, challenged all the unwritten rules related to Kurds in sports, at the expense of receiving a recurring suspension from the Turkish Football Federation.     DETERMINING REFLECTIVITY LEVELS OF PROSPECTIVE TEACHERS THROUGH BLOGS

    In this study, it was aimed to determine the reflective thinking levels of prospective teachers and the change of their reflectivity levels within the teaching practicum process. For this purpose, the blog postings, which written by the prospective teachers at different themes, were analyzed. Within the scope of the study, reflective thinking levels were discussed based on the six different criteria with the following titles: Attending to feeling, sharing personal experience, analysis and meaning-making, depth of reflection, language use and writing quality, use of textual evidence and historical context, and transfer of knowledge. In this study, the document analysis method was used as a data collection technique. The study was carried out with 37 prospective teachers, attending Teaching Practicum in the Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technology (CEIT) of a state university in Ankara, Turkey. Prospective teachers wrote about their teaching experiences throughout teaching practicum on their blogs. Blogs were evaluated with the help of the reflection level rubric, which prepared by the researchers. It was concluded that the lowest reflection level emerged with regard to the use of textual evidence and historical context criteria and that less reflective blogs were, in almost all criteria, with respect to the overall evaluation of the course (Theme-5).     Each year, 1.4 million children die from preventable diarrheal diseases in the world and %88 of these cases are associated with unsafe water, poor sanitation and hygiene. According to the World Health Organization’s report, approximately 10% of the global burden of disease is able to be prevented from provide water, sanitation and hygiene and management of water resources. The aim of this systematic review, to assess the results of researches evaluating the relationship between child health and water, sanitation, hygiene and public health interventions in this field and to examine the evidence. In order to reach articles relative to the topic, a scan was conducted of ten databases (Academic Search Complete (EBSCOHOST), BMJ Online Journals, LWW Total Access Collection (OVID), Oxford University Press Online Journals, Sage, Science Direct, Springerlink, Taylor&Francis Online Journals, Web of science, Wiley Interscience) providing access to publications on health sciences on the information net of Ege University library. The key words child health, water, sanitation and hygiene were used in the scan, as a result of which 284 research articles were found, and a total of 21 studies which fitted the criteria were included in the review. Although only 9.5% of the studies of children’s health and water health, sanitation and hygiene carried out in the last 20 years and included in the review were based in scientific proof, it was repeatedly shown at lower levels of proof that access to water and sanitation made an independent contribution to children’s health. These results show that effective interventions improving and developing health in relation to sanitation and hygiene have been tested, but that more experimental studies are needed. When developing public health policies on the provision of water, hygiene and sanitation, it is important to take account of the work force of public health nurses.Özet Dünyada her yıl 1.4 milyon çocuk önlenebilir ishalli hastalıklardan ölmektedir ve bu vakaların %88'i güvenli olmayan su, yetersiz sanitasyon ve hijyen ile ilişkilidir. Dünya Sağlık Örgütü'nün raporuna göre küresel hastalık yükünün yaklaşık % 10'u, su, sanitasyon, hijyenin sağlanması ve su kaynaklarının yönetimi ile önlenebilmektedir. Bu sistematik derleme, çocuk sağlığı ile su sağlığı, sanitasyon ve hijyen ilişkisini ve bu konudaki halk sağlığı girişimlerini değerlendiren araştırmaların sonuçlarını ve elde edilen kanıtları incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Konuyla ilgili makalelere ulaşmak için Ege Üniversitesi Kütüphanesi bilgi ağındaki sağlık bilimleri ile ilişkili yayınlara erişim sağlayan 10 veri tabanında (Academic Search Complete (EBSCOHOST), BMJ Online Journals, LWW Total Access Collection (OVID), Oxford University Press Online Journals, Sage, Science Direct, Springerlink, Taylor&Francis Online Journals, Web of science, Wiley Interscience) tarama yapılmıştır. Taramada "Child health", water, sanitation and hygiene anahtar kelimeleri kullanılmıştır. Tarama sonucunda toplam 284 araştırmaya ulaşılmış, kriterlere uygun toplam 21 araştırma derleme kapsamına alınmıştır. Derleme kapsamında ulaşılan son yirmi yılda yapılmış çocuk sağlığı ve su sağlığı, sanitasyon ve hijyen ilişkili araştırmaların yalnızca % 9,5'i kuvvetli bilimsel kanıt oluşturmakla birlikte, daha alt düzeydeki kanıtlar; su ve sanitasyona erişimin çocuk sağlığına bağımsız olarak katkıda bulunduğunu tekrarlı biçimde göstermektedir. Bu sonuçlar, sanitasyon ve hijyen ile ilgili sağlığı iyileştiren ve geliştiren etkili müdahalelerin test edildiği, daha fazla deneysel araştırmalara ihtiyaç duyulduğunu göstermektedir.     Analysis of Maxillofacial Traumas at Thrace Region amid COVID-19 Pandemic

    Aim:Pandemic caused by Coronavirus disease-2019 has created an unpredicted situation. Due to governmental regulations, a significant amount of health provider task force was relocated for pandemic management. This restrictions put forth a need for pragmatic solutions to cope with the demand of non-pandemic health management. Remote counselling was among these solutions. In this study, we aimed to share our remote counselling approach, also to analyze the maxillofacial trauma (MFT) patients operated during the first year of pandemic, and to compare these results with the results of the previous year.Materials and Methods:Beginning from May 11th, 2020 to May 11th, 2021, MFT patients were evaluated retrospectively. For comparison, patients referred within the same dates of the previous year were also evaluated. Two groups were constituted as pre-pandemic and pandemic. Groups were compared for demographics, affected facial region, operation performed as emergency or elective, time spanned from referral to surgery, and operative complications. Statistical significance was set as p0.05). Time spanned from referral to surgery was significantly shorter for the pandemic group in which the remote counselling approach was utilized (p<0.001).Conclusion:Remote counselling approach shortens the time spanned from referral to surgery among MFT patients referred during pandemic. Telemedicine may be used as a powerful tool for the management of MFT patients

    Malzeme davranışlarını etkileyen önemli faktörlerden birisi de sıcaklıktır. Her malzemenin sıcaklığa karşı davranışı farklılık arz eder. Dolayısıyla aynı şartlarda çalışan farklı malzemeden yapılmış makine elemanlarının da sıcaklıktan dolayı davranışları farklı olacaktır. Dış ortam sıcaklığının veya çalışma sıcaklıklarının değişmesi, makine elemanlarında istenmeyen gerilmelerin oluşmasına sebep olabilir. Sıcaklık değişimlerinden dolayı makine elemanlarında meydana gelebilecek istenmeyen gerilmeleri elimine etmek için gerekli incelemeler yapılmalı ve uygun konstrüksiyonlar oluşturulmalıdır. Makine elemanı üzerine delikler açılarak veya sınır şartları uygun şekilde seçilerek istenmeyen gerilmeler düşürülebilir. Bu çalışmada malzeme üzerine açılan deliklerin sıcaklık değişiminden doğan gerilmeleri nasıl etkilediği incelenmiştir. Nümerik çözümlerin elde edilmesinde ANSYS sonlu elemanlar paket programı kullanılmıştır. One of the important factors that affect the behavior of the engineering material is temperature. Every material has a different response to temperature changes. Because of this fact machine elements' behavior related to temperature changes is also different. Outside temperature and working temperature variations results in some undesired stresses. For eliminating these stresses necessary researches must be realized and suitable constructions have to be designed. In this study, effects of the hole on the stresses due to the temperature variations are examined. Numerical solutions are obtained by utilizing ANSYS finite element software

Daha sonra genel bir B tipi warped &ccedil;arpım metrik i&ccedil;in NP sistemi verilerek, bu sistemde manifoldun ikinci bileşeninin sabit eğriliğe sahip, R3'e g&ouml;m&uuml;lm&uuml;ş, kompakt, bağlantılı ve reg&uuml;ler bir manifold olması durumunda uzay-zamanın k&uuml;resel simetrik, Ricci tens&ouml;r&uuml; matrisinin rankının 1 ve Enerji-momentum tens&ouml;r&uuml; matrisinin tekil olmaması durumunda, fiziksel kaynağın k&uuml;tlesiz bir skaler alan olması gerektiği ispatlandı. Genel B tipi warped &ccedil;arpım metrikten, k&uuml;resel simetrik metriğe ge&ccedil;ilerek, NP b&uuml;y&uuml;kl&uuml;kleri hesaplandı. In this paper firstly, the Ricci tensor matrix is expressed with respect to  local base by using the Newman-Penrose formalism and determined its structure when. When the case, the rank 1 condition of the Ricci tensor matrix is found. For the general type B warped product metric, when the second component of the manifold has the space of constant curvature and is embedded in, compact, connected and regular, it is shown that space-time must be spherically symmetric. When the Ricci tensor has rank 1 and the Energy-momentum tensor is non-singular, it is shown that physical source must be a massless scalar field. Newman-Penrose quantities are calculated by reducing the general type B warped metric to spherically symmetric metric. For the spherically symmetric metric, Einstein's field  equations are obtained by using the Ricci tensor rank 1 condition. In the paper secondly, Einstein's field equations are studied independently of the Ricci rank 1 classification via a spherically symmetric metric coupled to a massless scalar field in (3+1)-dimensions. The initial value problem for this problem was studied analytically and the existence of solutions was proved in (Christodoulou, 1986a and 1986b). The numerical investigation of the same problem (Choptuik, 1993) led to the discovery of the "threshold phenomenon", for which a detailed overview can be found for example in  Gundlach (Gundlach, 2003). The field equations used in  numerical studies in the literature form a consistent but over-determined system. In this paper, we made use of the complete set of field equations as in Harrison (Harrison,2004) to decouple the equations for the metric functions from the equations for the scalar field. These equations form a normal system and they are effectively of second order in time. In logarithmic coordinates, they have no explicit dependency on the independent variables, as expected from the symmetry analysis of the original equations. The second order hyperbolic equation for the mass density involves a parameter that can be either plus or minus one, hence the decoupled system has positive and negative "branches". Besides its suitability for perturbative studies, in the time independent case, this system reduces to an autonomous second order system and allows a rigorous analysis of the negative branch, which is not transparent in the original formulation.. In particular the non-flat special solution for the negative branch corresponding to or,  is obvious. We noted that the static case can be realized either by  or by , corresponding respectively to the positive and negative branches and then static special solutions for the positive and negative branches  are given. For the positive branch we obtained an exact analytic solution and by using the phase plane analysis, it is proved that the trivial solution  is a global attractor in the region, while for the negative branch, is examined as a dynamical system and all of the solution curves are characterized and we provet that all solutions starting in the region,   stay in that region and the constant solution  is a global attractor. The vacuum solution and the Schwarzschild solution with  are of course common both branches. The solution for the positive branch dates back to Fisher (Fisher, 1948) and has been rediscovered many times, the most popular one being the reference (Janis et.al). We also note a recent paper on this subject by Zecca (2006) using the Newman-Penrose formalism. The second class of static solutions that we call the negative branch has been only noticed by Wyman (Wyman, 1983) where it was studied perturbatively, hence our implicit solution for the negative branch is new. Keywords: Choptuik spacetime, spherically symmetric static solution, massless scalar fields.
