THE END-CUSTOMER’S PERCEPTION ABOUT THE ELECTRONIC PRODUCT CODE (EPC) AT A RETAILER
The concept involves an active or more likely passive RFID data tag that stores information on the product that can easily be retrieved by a reader system. Therefore entities in the supply can identify a pallet, a case and increasingly, as the prices of the tag drop even individual products. The consequence will be that the supply chain will become more transparent, since products can be tracked individually. If a product disappears for any reason or is misrouted, the discrepancy can be located immediately.1 Heavy loss generated by theft and poor planning can be minimized and wholesalers can offer their products with a much better service. Over the last twenty years the barcode has been indicating the characteristics of a consumer products’ specific category. This has been sufficient for many years, but since markets are more dynamic than ever before companies have to adapt quickly to the changing environment. Therefore the Electronic Product Code (EPC), which will be first introduced in 2008, will definitely change the existing business habits and procedures from the ground. According to the consumer industry and their objectives, inefficiencies in the supply chain will be removed and costs can be decreased, which will finally benefit the end-customer. However on the other hand, there are a number of concerns the consumer industry as well as the end-customer needs to face: the EPC-technology requires a new infrastructure and organization that will cause huge expenses into the logistic.2 Regarding privacy issues many consumers reject the new technology so far and companies will have a hard job on convincing them of the great overall value. As trends in the industry have shown, the EPC technology will have an enormous impact on mass products and on a variety of items. The end customers’ acceptance of the Electronic Product Code will become essential, whether all the efforts done in the research and development will finally pay off. This paper presents the results of an exploratory study about the consumers’ perception regarding the EPC-technology and how it could affect their purchase habits; the study focused on consumers of a specific supermarket chain (HEB in Monterrey, Mexico) I will thanks to the master students for your collaboration in this empirical study . An already existing research study about the US end-customer perception regarding the EPC technology was conducted by Capgemini in October 2003 and served as an outline for this project in order to better compare the final results.customer; product; code; retailer; perception
Small extracellular vesicles from young adipose-derived stem cells prevent frailty, improve health span, and decrease epigenetic age in old mice.
Aging is associated with an increased risk of frailty, disability, and mortality. Strategies to delay the degenerative changes associated with aging and frailty are particularly interesting. We treated old animals with small extracellular vesicles (sEVs) derived from adipose mesenchymal stem cells (ADSCs) of young animals, and we found an improvement in several parameters usually altered with aging, such as motor coordination, grip strength, fatigue resistance, fur regeneration, and renal function, as well as an important decrease in frailty. ADSC-sEVs induced proregenerative effects and a decrease in oxidative stress, inflammation, and senescence markers in muscle and kidney. Moreover, predicted epigenetic age was lower in tissues of old mice treated with ADSC-sEVs and their metabolome changed to a youth-like pattern. Last, we gained some insight into the microRNAs contained in sEVs that might be responsible for the observed effects. We propose that young sEV treatment can promote healthy aging

Spatiotemporal Characteristics of the Largest HIV-1 CRF02_AG Outbreak in Spain: Evidence for Onward Transmissions
Background and Aim: The circulating recombinant form 02_AG (CRF02_AG) is the predominant clade among the human immunodeficiency virus type-1 (HIV-1) non-Bs with a prevalence of 5.97% (95% Confidence Interval-CI: 5.41–6.57%) across Spain. Our aim was to estimate the levels of regional clustering for CRF02_AG and the spatiotemporal characteristics of the largest CRF02_AG subepidemic in Spain. Methods: We studied 396 CRF02_AG sequences obtained from HIV-1 diagnosed patients during 2000–2014 from 10 autonomous communities of Spain. Phylogenetic analysis was performed on the 391 CRF02_AG sequences along with all globally sampled CRF02_AG sequences (N = 3,302) as references. Phylodynamic and phylogeographic analysis was performed to the largest CRF02_AG monophyletic cluster by a Bayesian method in BEAST v1.8.0 and by reconstructing ancestral states using the criterion of parsimony in Mesquite v3.4, respectively. Results: The HIV-1 CRF02_AG prevalence differed across Spanish autonomous communities we sampled from (p < 0.001). Phylogenetic analysis revealed that 52.7% of the CRF02_AG sequences formed 56 monophyletic clusters, with a range of 2–79 sequences. The CRF02_AG regional dispersal differed across Spain (p = 0.003), as suggested by monophyletic clustering. For the largest monophyletic cluster (subepidemic) (N = 79), 49.4% of the clustered sequences originated from Madrid, while most sequences (51.9%) had been obtained from men having sex with men (MSM). Molecular clock analysis suggested that the origin (tMRCA) of the CRF02_AG subepidemic was in 2002 (median estimate; 95% Highest Posterior Density-HPD interval: 1999–2004). Additionally, we found significant clustering within the CRF02_AG subepidemic according to the ethnic origin. Conclusion: CRF02_AG has been introduced as a result of multiple introductions in Spain, following regional dispersal in several cases. We showed that CRF02_AG transmissions were mostly due to regional dispersal in Spain. The hot-spot for the largest CRF02_AG regional subepidemic in Spain was in Madrid associated with MSM transmission risk group. The existence of subepidemics suggest that several spillovers occurred from Madrid to other areas. CRF02_AG sequences from Hispanics were clustered in a separate subclade suggesting no linkage between the local and Hispanic subepidemics
In our job intend to know the state in which the studies about the identity they are found and the culture in the LatinArnerica, to know as have been treaties both themes and the way as them have undertaken the intellectual Latin-Americans. To reach our objective one, we want to analyze the studies found, considering for it, four aspects: 1. Revision ofthe literature published and fountains bibliography of reference. 2. Perspectives and foci utilized 3. Applied Methodology and 4.Results reached. At the same time, are going to study the context of the organizations of America Latin. The notion of identity and culture are disputed and complex, but at the same time, these they are rich in its dimension socio-cultural and organizational, upon which little has worked itself. However, we should recognize that one of the problems ofthe authors of studies carríed out is the ambiguity conceptual of both notions, In this sense, we have found frequently that both terms are taken like synonyms or sorne times the identity is ignored as such or confused like attríbute of the object of study of the culture. Thus therefore, we see that both have be en worked with superficiality in the majority ofthe jobs, and far from contributing there they are superficiality their conception and inferences. This last, given that is inferred taking the easy road, responding alone to a fashion in the field, of something that truly would be able to contribute significantly to the comprehension of the organizations in Latin America.

Control of nucleolar growth during interphase in higher plant meristem cells
The evolution of nuclear and nucleolar sizes throughout interphase have been studied in synchronous caffeine-labeled binucleate cells of onion root meristems by using silver impregnation and stereological methods over semithin sections. Nucleus and nucleolus grow independently, since nucleolus enlarges at its fastest rate in G 1, while nucleus grows mostly in two periods: onset of replication and G 2. Nucleolar size in the cycle seems to be a genecontrolled function, hardly affected by protein synthesis inhibition. Hence, there is a biphasic response to cycloheximide (CHM) in the fast growing nucleoli of both early and late G 1 with an initial stimulation later counterbalanced by a depressed rate, so that nucleolar size in S was similar to control shortly afterwards the start of the CHM treatment. The initial enlargement under CHM was due to an increase of all nucleolar structural components, i.e., fibrillar, granular, vacuolar, and lacunar regions. No cycloheximide effect whatsoever was detected in S and G 2 nucleoli.Peer reviewe
