The literature on the process of searching and teaching of the Law

    Get PDF
This text explores the relationship between literature and law. Try also show interdeterminación relationship established between both disciplines. Likewise, it will explore to what extent the "educational" use of literature helps to consolidate the place of "enlightenment" or "educational resource" on a scientific or legal theorizing is then mounted so as to strip it of its context and therefore its critical potential . The text you want for the entry of literature to the everyday classroom as a form of dialogue between theory and practice

The main objective of this article is to show a description of the present Postgraduate Studies at public Universities in Argentina, focusing on the low graduation rates they reach. As this topic has not been an object of great attention by educational investigation, we only count with some statistics data and isolated pieces of work, whose interpretation must set up a dialogue between the representations of the actors at this level of the University system. Specializations, Masters and Doctorates are addressed from their current regulations to the previous ones, dating from 1990; paying special attention to the needed requirements for the Final Degree Project, which appears on the limited reading material we count with and on the surveyed students, teachers and authorities representations, as the instance where the postgraduate studies are discontinued. Therefore, the low graduation level is related to all the difficulties in carrying out the Final Degree Project demanded by the Postgrades. In view of this constant, it will be listed below, the reasons why postgraduate students themselves, claim as the major difficulties they have faced to get their degrees, specifying some proper to the Legal field.Fil: Cardinaux, Nancy Susana. Modeling Equilibrium Clusters in Lysozyme Solutions

    Get PDF
We present a combined experimental and numerical study of the equilibrium cluster formation in globular protein solutions under no-added salt conditions. We show that a cluster phase emerges as a result of a competition between a long-range screened Coulomb repulsion and a short-range attraction. A simple effective potential, in which only depth and width of the attractive part of the potential are optimized, accounts in a remarkable way for the wavevector dependence of the X-ray scattering structure factor.Comment: 4 pages, 4 figure

Developing a systems and informatics based approach to lifestyle monitoring within eHealth:part I - technology and data management

    Get PDF
Lifestyle monitoring forms a subset of telecare in which data derived from sensors located in the home is used to identify variations in behaviour which are indicative of a change in care needs. Key to this is the performance of the sensors themselves and the way in which the information from multiple sources is integrated within the decision making process. The paper therefore considers the functions of the key sensors currently deployed and places their operation within the context of a proposed multi-level system structure which takes due cognisance of the requisite informatics framework

Interplay between Spinodal Decomposition and Glass Formation in Proteins Exhibiting Short-Range Attractions

We investigate the competition between spinodal decomposition and dynamical arrest using aqueous solutions of the globular protein lysozyme as a model system for colloids with short-range attractions. We show that quenches below a temperature Ta lead to gel formation as a result of a local arrest of the proteindense phase during spinodal decomposition. The rheological properties of these gels allow us to use centrifugation experiments to determine the local densities of both phases and to precisely locate the gel boundary and the attractive glass line close to and within the unstable region of the phase diagram

Multi-speckle diffusing wave spectroscopy with a single mode detection scheme

We present a detection scheme for diffusing wave spectroscopy (DWS) based on a two cell geometry that allows efficient ensemble averaging. This is achieved by putting a fast rotating diffuser in the optical path between laser and sample. We show that the recorded (multi-speckle) correlation echoes provide an ensemble averaged signal that does not require additional time averaging. We find the performance of our experimental scheme comparable or even superior to camera based multi-speckle techniques that rely on direct spatial averaging. Furthermore, combined with traditional two-cell DWS, the full intensity autocorrelation function can be measured with a single experimental setup covering more than 10 decades in correlation time.Comment: Submitted to PR
