Importância da leitura de contos de fada na educação infantil para a formação do leitor

E, o presente trabalho vem mostrar que a utilização dos contos de fadas como recurso didático na educação infantil pode ser um gatilho para a formação do leitor. E teve como objetivos investigar a importância da leitura de contos de fada na educação infantil, identificar os prós e contras dessa leitura para essas crianças e analisar o papel do professor nesse processo de formação de hábitos de leitura. A metodologia utilizada neste trabalho foi à pesquisa bibliográfica e o uso de questionários com perguntas abertas e fechadas. Com este estudo contatou-se que o trabalho com os contos de fadas, tem um papel fundamental na formação do leitor. E, que por meio deles podemos desenvolver atividades diferenciadas resgatando o lúdico presente nas histórias. Sendo assim, a criança poderá não só desenvolver a habilidade da leitura, como também poderá desenvolver o senso crítico, a criatividade e a imaginação. Espera-se com essa pesquisa contribuir com a reflexão dos educadores quanto à importância de se desenvolver um bom trabalho neste sentido; para que eles como professores-formadores conduzam seu trabalho de tal maneira que a criança desenvolva o gosto pela leitura e não o contrário.Fairy tales enchant children around the world, even with all this technological revolution. And this work goes to show that the use of fairy tales as a teaching resource in early childhood education can be a trigger for the player's training. And aimed to investigate the importance of reading fairy tales in kindergarten, identify the pros and cons of this reading for these children and analyze the teacher's role in this process of formation of reading habits. The methodology used was the bibliographical research and the use of questionnaires with open and closed questions. This study contacted that work with fairy tales, plays a key role in the player's training. And that through them we can develop different activities rescuing the playful present in the stories. Thus, the child can not only develop the skill of reading, but may also develop critical thinking, creativity and imagination. It is hoped that this research contribute to the discussion of educators on the importance of developing a good job in this regard; so that they as teachers-trainers to conduct their work in such a way that the child develop a love of reading and not contrary

Melanogenesis and Melasma Treatment

Melanocytes are highly specialised dendritic cells that transfer melanin to keratinocytes in subcellular lysosome-like organelles called melanosomes, where melanin is synthesised and stored. Melanin is a complex pigment that provides colour and photoprotection to the skin, hair, and eyes of mammals. The regulation of melanogenesis includes various mechanisms and factors including genetic, environmental, and endocrine factors. Knowledge of the pigmentation process is important not only to understand hyperpigmentation but also to design treatments and therapies to treat them. Whitening cosmetics with anti-melanogenesis activity are very popular. In the present manuscript, we review the mechanisms and the signalling pathways involved in skin pigmentation and we specifically focus on the alteration of melanogenesis that leads to melasma and results in hyperpigmentation. Finally, current therapies and treatments including topical, oral, and phototherapies are discussed and described, with a special emphasis on the cosmetics' action

Gamma radiation effects at color, antioxidant capacity and fatty acid profile in peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.)

A irradiação gama é eficiente para eliminar a contaminação fúngica em grãos de amendoim. Este apresenta proteínas de alto valor biológico, minerais, vitaminas E, complexo B e alta concentração de lipídios. Este trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar o efeito da aplicação de radiações gama na cor, fenólicos totais, atividade antioxidante e perfil de ácidos graxos em amendoim (Arachis hypogaea L.). Os cultivares IAC-Tatu ST e IAC-Runner 886 foram submetidos a radiações gama com doses de 5,0; 7,5; 10,0; e 15,0 kGy e armazenados em temperatura ambiente. Não foram verificadas diferenças significativas na cor dos amendoins IAC-Tatu ST. Diferenças significativas foram detectadas para a luminosidade e o Croma do IAC-Runner 886. Os fenólicos totais diferiram significativamente entre o controle com 33,27 mg.g-1 e o tratamento com 10,0 kGy com 58,60 mg.g-1 no IAC-Tatu ST, neste parâmetro não foram observadas diferenças significativas no IAC-Runner 886, cujo controle foi 51,59 mg.g-1. Para atividade antioxidante não foi verificada diferença significativa com a dose de 10,0 kGy, recomendada para eliminação fúngica de amendoim. Na dose de 10,0 kGy, verificou-se a diminuição de ácidos graxos saturados, o aumento dos insaturados e o aumento de ácido linoleico. A relação oleico/linoleico diminuiu, justificando novos estudos correlacionando armazenamento e estabilidade oxidativa.Irradiation is efficient at extincting fungi contamination in peanuts. Peanuts have high biologic value protein, minerals, vitamin E, complex B, and high concentration of lipids. The objective of this research is to evaluate the gamma irradiation effect on color, total phenolic, antioxidant activity, and fatty acid profile in peanuts (Arachis hypogaea L.). Cultivars IAC-Tatu ST and IAC-Runner 886 were submitted to gamma radiation with doses of 5.0; 7.5; 10.0, and 15.0 kGy and storage at room temperature. There was no significant difference in the color of IAC-Tatu ST. However, significant difference was found in the luminosity and Chroma in IAC-Runner 886. Total fenolics differed from the control with 33.27 mg.g-1 and treatment dose of 10.0 kGy with 58.60 mg.g-1 in IAC-Tatu ST. This parameter not had significant difference in IAC-Runner 886 and the control with 51.59 mg.g-1. The antioxidant activity did not present significant difference with a dose of 10.0 kGy, recommended for the elimination of fungi in peanuts. The dose of 10.0 kGy showed a decrease in saturated fatty acids, increase in unsaturated fatty acids, and an increase in linolleic acid. The oleic/linoleic relation decreased justifying further research correlating storage and oxidative stability

Flexible document organization: comparing fuzzy and possibilistic approaches

System flexibility means the ability of a system to manage imprecise and/or uncertain information. A lot of commercially available Information Retrieval Systems (IRS) address this issue at the level of query formulation. Another way to make the flexibility of an IRS possible is by means of the flexible organization of documents. Such organization can be carried out using clustering algorithms by which documents can be automatically organized in multiple clusters simultaneously. Fuzzy and possibilistic clustering algorithms are examples of methods by which documents can belong to more than one cluster simultaneously with different membership degrees. The interpretation of these membership degrees can be used to quantify the compatibility of a document with a particular topic. The topics are represented by clusters and the clusters are identified by one or more descriptors extracted by a proposed method. We aim to investigate if the performance of each clustering algorithm can affect the extraction of meaningful overlapping cluster descriptors. Experiments were carried using well-known collections of documents and the predictive power of the descriptors extracted from both fuzzy and possibilistic document clustering was evaluated. Avaliação da performance do teste de aglutinação modifica (MAT) para a detecção de anticorpos anti-Toxoplasma gondii em cães

Toxoplasmosis is a zoonosis that has been the subject of study in Brazil and worldwide. The dogs are sentinels for the infection and can carry Toxoplasma gondii in the environment. Seroepidemiological surveys of these animals are an important tool in the surveillance and control of the disease and inform decision-making in health programs. In this study the performance of the Modified Agglutination Test (MAT) in the serodiagnosis of canine toxoplasmosis is evaluated and compared to the indirect immunofluorescent-antibody test (IFAT). A sample of 157 dog sera from the county of Monte Negro, Rondônia, with 76.40% positive reactions for Toxoplasma gondii (IFAT =16) was analyzed using the MAT (=25), presenting sensitivity of 85.00% (Confidence Interval 95.00%: 79.4 - 90.60%) and specificity of 100.00%.Toxoplasmose é uma zoonose que vem sendo objeto de estudos no Brasil e em todas as partes do mundo. Os cães são considerados sentinelas da infecção, podendo carrear o agente pelo ambiente. Levantamentos soro-epidemiológicos desses animais são importantes ferramentas de vigilância e controle da doença em programas de saúde. Neste estudo a performance do Teste de Aglutinação Modificada (MAT) no sorodiagnóstico da toxoplasmose canina foi avaliado e comparado à reação de imunoflorescência indireta (RIFI). Uma amostra de 157 soros de cães do município de Monte Negro, Rondônia, com 76.40% de animais positivos ao Toxoplasma gondii (RIFI =16) foi analisado utilizando o MAT (=25) e apresentou sensibilidade de 85,00% (Intervalo de Confiança 95,00%: 79,4-90,60%) e especificidade de 100,00%
