    No full text
The article considers the actual problem of management of labor-resource providing region's economy in line with the strategy of socio-economic and innovative development of the region, the theoretical and methodological approaches to the adequate and effective management of mechanism of labor-resource providing were grounded. The effects of random and adjustable impact of influential factors on the mechanism were taking into account in order region's development in modern competitive conditions.

On the Innovative Nature of Sakhalin Ainu: Focusing on Nominalization

    Get PDF
This paper focuses on the innovative nature of Sakhalin Ainu with respect to nominalization. Based on a cross-dialectal comparison, I suggest that zero-nominalization [(nP…) V]NP reflects the oldest stage (I), while the strategy of adding a nominalizing word [(nP…) V nmz]NP, which proliferates in Hokkaido Ainu, may be regarded as the next stage (II). Finally, in Sakhalin Ainu, non-finite verbal forms containing possessive-style marking [(nP…) V-Poss]NP (III), which can also be used as non-embedded (finite) structures [(nP…) V-Poss]MC (IV) in a broad range of presuppositional contexts, may be regarded as the last and most innovative stage.

THE REACTIVE CAPACITY OF THE SOIL BASES OF GRAVITY-TYPE QUAY WALL

    Get PDF
The results of studies of the reactive capacity of the soil base of a gravity- type quay-wall on the basis of the method developed for calculating the “structure - soil base” system are considered. The method proposed allows determining the reactive capacity of the soil base in conditions of mixed stress state model (limit and sublimit stress state of the soil base) under and around of the base of the foundation structure in a wide range of loads of lateral earth pressure. The transformation of limit and sublimit stress state zones of the soil base on the basis of numerical modeling is presented which shows an increase of the sizes of limit stress state and a decrease of the sizes of sublimit stress state. The results of studies of the reactive capacity of the soil base of a gravity- type quay-wall on the basis of the method developed for calculating the “structure - soil base” system are considered. Appositive possession in Ainu and around the Pacific

    Get PDF
Some languages around the Pacific have multiple possessive classes of alienable constructions using appositive nouns or classifiers. This pattern differs from the most common kind of alienable/inalienable distinction, which involves marking, usually affixal, on the possessum, and has only one class of alienables. The Japanese language isolate Ainu has possessive marking that is reminiscent of the Circum-Pacific pattern. It is distinctive, however, in that the possessor is coded not as a dependent in an NP but as an argument in a finite clause, and the appositive word is a verb. This paper gives a first comprehensive, typologically grounded description of Ainu possession and reconstructs the pattern that must have been standard when Ainu was still the daily language of a large speech community; Ainu then had multiple alienable class constructions. We report a cross-linguistic survey expanding previous coverage of the appositive type and show how Ainu fits in. We split alienable/inalienable into two different phenomena: Argument structure (with types based on possessibility: optionally possessible, obligatorily possessed, and non-possessible) and valence (alienable, inalienable classes). Valence-changing operations are derived alienability and derived inalienability. Our survey classifies the possessive systems of languages in these terms.Peer reviewe

In A.thaliana there are seven FAX proteins (FAX1 to FAX7), which are similar in structure, consisting of four alpha-helical transmembrane domains, but are different in their characteristic protein motifs, conserved charges, as well as their subcellular localization. FAX1, which is localized in the inner chloroplast membrane, was characterized in 2015 and presumably plays a role in the fatty acid transfer across the inner plastid membrane. The localization of the FAX2 and FAX3 proteins was also detected in the inner envelope of chloroplasts using a Western blot with specific antibodies against PsFAX2 and PsFAX3. In rosette leaves of homozygous fax1-2 knockout mutants the loss of FAX1 leads to an increased amount of FAX2 and FAX3 transcripts compared to wildtype, suggesting a possible complementary function of FAX1 through FAX2 and FAX3 proteins. Performed segregation analysis with fax1/fax3 (heterozygous/ homozygous) double mutants showed a strong reduced number of homozygous fax1/3 progeny both on soil and on agar medium. The loss of both genes, FAX1 and FAX3, leads to a severely impaired development of seedlings and finally to a lethal effect in seedling stage, presumably due to the absence of complementation of FAX1 by FAX3 in rosette leaves
