A Framework for Designing of Optimization Software Tools by Commercial API Implementation
The customized software development aims to release a software product tailored to the specific user needs. The goal of such software is to best fit the business requirements in an efficient system. This is especially true when business should perform optimization of the used resources. The existence of application programming interfaces in many commercial mathematical programming systems makes it possible to develop custom tailored tools using proven over the years effective methods and algorithms for optimization. In the current paper, a framework for designing of customized software based on the implementation of LINDO API is described. A developed prototype is used for numerical testing of real life optimization problem. The testing results show the applicability of the proposed framework for designing of effective customized optimization tools
The VVV Survey reveals classical Cepheids tracing a young and thin stellar disk across the Galaxy's bulge
Solid insight into the physics of the inner Milky Way is key to understanding
our Galaxy's evolution, but extreme dust obscuration has historically hindered
efforts to map the area along the Galactic mid-plane. New comprehensive
near-infrared time-series photometry from the VVV Survey has revealed 35
classical Cepheids, tracing a previously unobserved component of the inner
Galaxy, namely a ubiquitous inner thin disk of young stars along the Galactic
mid-plane, traversing across the bulge. The discovered period (age) spread of
these classical Cepheids implies a continuous supply of newly formed stars in
the central region of the Galaxy over the last 100 million years.Comment: Accepted for publication in The Astrophysical Journal Letters.

Orbits of Globular Clusters in the Outer Galaxy: NGC 7006
We present a proper motion study of the distant globular cluster NGC 7006
based on the measurement of 25 photographic plates spanning a 40-year interval.
The absolute proper motion determined with respect to extragalactic objects is
(-0.96, -1.14) +- (0.35, 0.40) mas/yr. The total space velocity of NGC 7006 in
a Galactocentric rest frame is 279 km/s, placing the cluster on one of the most
energetic orbits (Ra =102 kpc) known to date for clusters within 40-kpc from
the Galactic center. We compare the orbits of four clusters that have
apocentric radii larger than 80 kpc (NGC 5466, NGC 6934, NGC 7006 and Pal 13)
with those of Galactic satellites with well-measured proper motions. These
clusters have orbits that are highly eccentric and of various inclinations with
respect to the Galactic plane. In contrast, the orbits of the Galactic
satellites are of low to moderate eccentricity and highly inclined. Based on
orbit types, chemical abundances and cluster parameters, we discuss the
properties of the hypothetical host systems of the remote globular clusters in
the Searle-Zinn paradigm. It is apparent that clusters such as NGC 5466, NGC
6934 and NGC 7006 formed in systems that more likely resemble the Fornax dSph,
rather than the Sagittarius dSph. We also discuss plausible causes for the
difference found so far between the orbit type of outer halo clusters and that
of Galactic satellites and for the tentative, yet suggestive phase-space

Automated search for galactic star clusters in large multiband surveys: I. Discovery of 15 new open clusters in the Galactic anticenter region
Aims: According to some estimations, there are as many as 100000 open
clusters in the Galaxy, but less than 2000 of them have been discovered,
measured, and cataloged. We plan to undertake data mining of multiwavelength
surveys to find new star clusters. Methods: We have developed a new method to
search automatically for star clusters in very large stellar catalogs, which is
based on convolution with density functions. We have applied this method to a
subset of the Two Micron All Sky Survey catalog toward the Galactic anticenter.
We also developed a method to verify whether detected stellar groups are real
star clusters, which tests whether the stars that form the spatial density peak
also fall onto a single isochrone in the color-magnitude diagram. By fitting an
isochrone to the data, we estimate at the same time the main physical
parameters of a cluster: age, distance, color excess. Results: For the present
paper, we carried out a detailed analysis of 88 overdensity peaks detected in a
field of degrees near the Galactic anticenter. From this analysis,
15 overdensities were confirmed to be new open clusters and the physical and
structural parameters were determined for 12 of them; 10 of them were
previously suspected to be open clusters by Kronberger (2006) and Froebrich
(2007). The properties were also determined for 13 yet-unstudied known open
clusters, thus almost tripling the sample of open clusters with studied
parameters in the anticenter. The parameters determined with this method showed
a good agreement with published data for a set of well-known clusters.Comment: accepted to A&

В работе рассматриваются различные типы идентичности, основное внимание уделяется лингвокультурной идентичности и её структурным компонентам, среди которых выделяются аксиологический, коммуникативный и эмоциональный. Прослеживается, как данные компоненты идентичности закрепляются в языке и проявляются в речи носителей русского и английского языков.The paper is a review of the recent studies in the field of identity and its manifestation in communication. Traditionally this term has been explored in philosophy, psychology, sociology and cultural studies. Now it has started to attract the attention of linguists since language is the most essential component of identity. The paper considers different types of identity with the particular focus on lingua-cultural identity and its structural components, amongst which axiological, communicative and emotional ones are most prominent. The paper shows how identity is embedded in language and reveals itself in the speech of native speakers of Russian and English
VVV-WIT-01: highly obscured classical nova or protostellar collision?
© 2020 The Author(s).A search of the first Data Release of the VISTA Variables in the Via Lactea (VVV) Survey discovered the exceptionally red transient VVV-WIT-01 (H-Ks=5.2). It peaked before March 2010, then faded by ~9.5 mag over the following two years. The 1.6-22 µm spectral energy distribution in March 2010 was well fit by a highly obscured black body with T ~ 1000 K and AKs ~ 6.6 mag. The source is projected against the Infrared Dark Cloud (IRDC) SDC G331.062-0.294. The chance projection probability is small for any single event (p ≈ 0.01 to 0.02) which suggests a physical association, e.g. a collision between low mass protostars. However, black body emission at T ~ 1000 K is common in classical novae (especially CO novae) at the infrared peak in the light curve, due to condensation of dust ~30-60 days after the explosion. Radio follow up with the Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA) detected a fading continuum source with properties consistent with a classical nova but probably inconsistent with colliding protostars. Considering all VVV transients that could have been projected against a catalogued IRDC raises the probability of a chance association to p=0.13 to 0.24. After weighing several options, it appears likely that VVV-WIT-01 was a classical nova event located behind an IRDC.Peer reviewedFinal Published versio
Preliminary results for RR Lyrae stars and Classical Cepheids from the Vista Magellanic Cloud (VMC) Survey
The Vista Magellanic Cloud (VMC, PI M.R. Cioni) survey is collecting
-band time series photometry of the system formed by the two Magellanic
Clouds (MC) and the "bridge" that connects them. These data are used to build
-band light curves of the MC RR Lyrae stars and Classical Cepheids and
determine absolute distances and the 3D geometry of the whole system using the
-band period luminosity (), the period - luminosity - color ()
and the Wesenhiet relations applicable to these types of variables. As an
example of the survey potential we present results from the VMC observations of
two fields centered respectively on the South Ecliptic Pole and the 30 Doradus
star forming region of the Large Magellanic Cloud. The VMC -band light
curves of the RR Lyrae stars in these two regions have very good photometric
quality with typical errors for the individual data points in the range of
0.02 to 0.05 mag. The Cepheids have excellent light curves (typical
errors of 0.01 mag). The average magnitudes derived for both types
of variables were used to derive relations that are in general good
agreement within the errors with the literature data, and show a smaller

Properties of the solar neighbor WISE J072003.20-084651.2
The severe crowding towards the Galactic plane suggests that the census of
nearby stars in that direction may be incomplete. Recently, Scholz reported a
new M9 object at an estimated distance d~7 pc (WISE J072003.20-084651.2;
hereafter WISE0720) at Galactic latitude b=2.3 degr.
Our goals are to determine the physical characteristics of WISE0720, its
kinematic properties, and to address the question if it is a binary object, as
suggested in the discovery paper.
Optical and infrared spectroscopy from the Southern African Large Telescope
and Magellan, respectively, and spectral energy distribution fitting were used
to determine the spectral type of WISE0720. The measured radial velocity,
proper motion and parallax yielded its Galactic velocities. We also
investigated if WISE0720 may show X-ray activity based on archival data.
Our spectra are consistent with spectral type L0+/-1. We find no evidence for
binarity, apart for a minor 2-sigma level difference in the radial velocities
taken at two different epochs. The spatial velocity of WISE0720 does not
connect it to any known moving group, instead it places the object with high
probability in the old thin disk or in the thick disk. The spectral energy
distribution fit hints at excess in the 12 and 22 micron WISE bands which may
be due to a redder companion, but the same excess is visible in other late type
objects, and it more likely implies a shortcoming of the models (e.g., issues
with the effective wavelengths of the filters for these extremely cool objects,
etc.) rather than a disk or redder companion. The optical spectrum shows some
Halpha emission, indicative of stellar activity. Archival X-ray observations

Massive open star clusters using the VVV survey III: A young massive cluster at the far edge of the Galactic bar
Context: Young massive clusters are key to map the Milky Way's structure, and
near-IR large area sky surveys have contributed strongly to the discovery of
new obscured massive stellar clusters.
Aims: We present the third article in a series of papers focused on young and
massive clusters discovered in the VVV survey. This article is dedicated to the
physical characterization of VVV CL086, using part of its OB-stellar
population.
Methods: We physically characterized the cluster using near-infrared
photometry from ESO public survey VVV images, using the VVV-SkZ pipeline, and
near-infrared -band spectroscopy, following the methodology presented in the
first article of the series.
Results: Individual distances for two observed stars indicate that the
cluster is located at the far edge of the Galactic bar. These stars, which are
probable cluster members from the statistically field-star decontaminated CMD,
have spectral types between O9 and B0V. According to our analysis, this young
cluster ( Myr age Myr) is located at a distance of
kpc, and we estimate a lower limit for the cluster total mass of
. It is likely that the cluster
