Análisis contrastivo inglés-ruso de resúmenes de artículos de investigación del ámbito de geociencias

Un buen dominio del género textual del Resumen resulta fundamental para satisfacer las expectativas de la comunidad científica. Hasta la fecha ya contamos con diferentes investigaciones sobre este género en diversas disciplinas, si bien el Resumen en el ámbito de geociencias ha sido menos estudiado. Por otro lado, el enfoque adoptado en la mayoría de esos estudios se basa en las dicotomías nativo/no nativo. No obstante, el análisis de los resúmenes escritos por rusohablantes todavía presenta un campo de investigación poco explorado. El presente trabajo tiene por objetivo llevar a cabo una comparación lingüística de resúmenes escritos en inglés por geocientíficos noveles rusos, por un lado, y por expertos ingleses nativos, por el otro. Para ello se ha recopilado un corpus de resúmenes geocientíficos en inglés. El análisis multidimensional del corpus generalmente confirma los estudios previos sobre el tema, sin embargo, ha mostrado unas características diferentes en los resúmenes rusos.Mastering the genre of the research article abstract is crucially important to meet the expectations of a discourse community in a particular scientific field. To date, research has shed light on how abstracts are written in various disciplines. However, few if any attempts have been made to analyse the abstract in geoscience. Furthermore, several studies have investigated the genre of abstract drawing on native/non-native, expert/apprentice dichotomies. Even so, there has not been sufficient investigation into abstracts written by Russian native speakers. This study therefore aims to carry out a cross-linguistic comparison of abstracts written in English by Russian novice researchers and native English-speaking experts in geoscience. For this purpose, a monolingual English corpus of research articles in geoscience was created. The results of Biber’s multidimensional analysis generally confirm previous findings about abstracts in hard sciences, though they allow for hypotheses on some distinctive features of abstracts written by Russian geoscientists

A formal statement of a business idea proposed to a Catalan company PEBER. After studying the activity of the enterprise, several growth options came out. This work concentrates on the most viable one. The project consists in opening a hotel in the area close to Barcelona city, Hospitalet de Llobregat. In order to present the whole market picture, sector´s propensity and competitors´ inlet was analyzed. According to conclusions, the appropriate strategies for the new business component like price and product were suggested. After defining those concepts, the planning could proceed to the examination of the costs and incomes, which turned out as totally positive and affordable. This combination of the outcomes led to the affirmative answer for the proposal.(spa) El Proyecto surge de la necesidad de reestructuración de los distintos sectores de la empresa local PEBER. PEBER es una pequeña empresa familiar dirigida a diversos sectores destacando su mayor rendimiento en: turismo e industria textil. Tejidos Cornejo, con sede en Hospitalet de Llobregat, ha observado una caída importante en sus ventas durante estos últimos años. Debido a este hecho, se replantea un cambio de negocio hacia el sector turístico. La propuesta es la restauración completa del almacén de Tejidos Cornejo (con más de 5.000 metros cuadros, distribuidas en 4 plantas) haciendo un hotel de más de 100 habitaciones. El factor clave del proyecto es el crecimiento turístico de la ciudad condal año tras año. La cercanía y fácil acceso a Barcelona desde el nuevo hotel, sumado y a la gran variedad de servicios que ofrece Hospitalet y al gran número de eventos que se realizan en la zona de La Fira Barcelona, hace que se reúnan diversas importantes garantías de éxito. Para certificar la viabilidad de este proyecto, se realiza un estudio de mercado actual en la zona de Hospitalet, teniendo en cuenta los factores exteriores e interiores que influencian en el transcurso de la operación. Además, se ejecuta un análisis competencial de los negocios locales con mayor éxito y los recursos que necesitan. Una vez realizado el estudio de recursos y factores claves en este área se especifican los objetivos, y consecuentemente, focalizarnos en el nuevo segmento Bleisure (negocios + ocio). Se realiza un análisis DAFO decidiendo las estrategias aplicadas para el futuro éxito del nuevo negocio. Evidentemente, hay que tener en cuenta los aspectos legales, para ello se realiza el cálculo del importe de aprovechamiento urbanístico obligatorio para cambiar el uso del edificio. Después de solventar el tema legal, se presenta una previsión de futuros ingresos con el objetivo de estudiar la recuperación de inversión y su viabilidad

Intellectual Capital of Enterprises and Its Role in the Integral Process

In August 2012 Russia entered the World Trade organization (WTO) and took all the obligations on establishment of this organization according to the Marrakesh agreement. As a participant of the international trade system, Russia obtains a legitimate access to a very much unified legal space and international legal protection guaranteed by WTO norms, which should finally promote development of Russian foreign trade and Russian interests abroad. Thus, annually, within the framework of the world trade, economic participant benefit from application of simplified customs procedures $900 bn. Within Russia, according to the data of the Economic Cooperation and Development organization, this benefit may be$18 bn. concerning protection of rights of intellectual property, the Russian Federation has not taken any additional obligations, – and During the period of negotiations the national legislative base was brought in line with the WTO norms. Sol-gel Synthesis of β-Cyclodextrin-containing Silicas with 3-(chloropropyl)triethoxysilane as Precursor

The sol-gel synthesis of β-cyclodextrin-containing silica materials is reported. Organosilicas were pre-pared in tetraethylorthosilicate–3-(chloropropyl)triethoxysilane–β-cyclodextrin–ethanol–water system. These materials were characterized by IR spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis. Porosity of orga-nosilicas was characterized on nitrogen adsorption/desorption isotherms. The porosity analysis demon-strates that cyclodextrin-silica based materials are an isotherm Type I substance. The surface areas of the organosilicas with incorporated β-cyclodextrin are in the range 430–580 m2 g1; materials containing up to 0.005 mmol g1of β-cyclodextrin moieties have been successfully prepared. Synthesized organosilicas are stable in aqueous medium and could be used in processes of pollutants removal. The present study demon-strates a simple time-saving method of cyclodextrin-containing silicas obtaining via one-pot synthesis in mild condition without using toxic solvents, costly templates or cyclodextrin derivatives. Communication Design of Indian Matrimonial Advertisements in the Sunday Times of India

The study addresses graphic and verbal elements as part of the communication design of matrimonial advertising. Following European trends and rules of the press, the Sunday Times of India newspaper preserves the traditional features in its design for the matrimonial column. It is argued that its communication design is a mixture of two design styles: universal (easily interpreted by the wide audience) and specifically Indian. This is not a problem, since matrimonial advertisements are addressed only to in-group members. For them, the use of ethnic motives in the verbal and non-verbal components of matrimonial advertising is more appealing. Through the signs of the semiotic matrimonial code, they enter the general space of cultural communication. This evokes their trust to the verbal content, creates a comfortable atmosphere for dealing with such a delicate topic and increases the chances of successful engagement. The pragmatic significance of graphic design elements prevails over text ones. All graphic elements, ornaments, lines, linings, vignettes, frames, etc., serve to create a respectful image of the person placing the advertisement, the person on whose behalf the advertisement is placed, and the potential bride/groom. Respect and traditions are key elements of Indian culture and are reflected in the space of newspaper communication. Understanding the requirements for the publication of matrimonial advertisements reflects the social structure and the specifics of interpersonal relations between men and women, parents and children. The interpretation of both visual and verbal signs by outsiders is largely dependent on his/her experience of Indian culture. Theoretical Views on Mechanisms of Formation of Speech Act

The methodology of the modern logopaedic science becomes the expansion of knowledge through the study of the ‘internal speech patterns’ mechanisms and coming up to theoretical views on the role of some core transformations of speech system within the ontogenesis. The increase of understanding of formation processof speech act becomes possible through the use of interdisciplinary approach and system analysis. The article outlines issues related to the possibility of studying the hypothesis proposed by the authors: speech functional system (SFS) results into the action in the form of psychosensorimotor (PSM) speech stereotype. The parameters of PSM speech stereotype in native language are being formed by the age of 6–7.The functional system of speech act is considered in details: speech motivation, situational, auditory, kinesthetic, visual, and emotional afferentations, genetic and ontogenetic speech memory, afferent synthesis, etc. Special attention is paid to the speech fluency as an indicator of the rhythmic mechanisms formation of thebrain. The definition of speech fluency and its development in ontogenesis is shown. Stepwise and nonlinear character of speech fluency development in ontogenesis is experimentally proved.
