Comparison of early reactions of the blood system in rats to immobilization, the action of hypoxia and the administration of erythopoietin

Three series of experiments were simultaneously carried on rats with the purpose of studying the action of different stimulants on the blood system; rats were subjected to immobilization, hypoxic hypoxia and erythropoietin administration. Changes in various cellular forms in the bone marrow, the thymus and the spleen were studied. A unitypical reaction, as in stress, was noted during the first hours; a reduction of the cell count in the lymphoid organs, a reduction of granulocytes and an increase of lymphoid cells in the bone marrow. The differences were chiefly quantitative. This was followed by stimulation of myelo and erythropoiesis determined by the specific features of the action applied. Nonspecific blood reaction was apparently due to activation of the adaptation mechanisms

Prime divisors of orders of automorphisms and the fixed point subgraphs of automorphisms of prime orders are studied for a hypothetical distance-regular graph with intersection array 30, 27, 24; 1, 2, 10. Let G = Aut(Γ) is nonsolvable group, G = G=S(G) and T is the socle of G. If Γ is vertex-symmetric then (G) is f2g-group, and T ≅= L2(11),M11,U5(2),M22,A11,HiS. © 2019, Sobolev Institute of Mathematics

INFLUENCE OF ENVIRONMENTALLY FAVOURABLE BIOSTIMULATORS ON THE YIELD AND QUALITY OF FLAX

Institute of Inorganic Chemistry o f Riga Technical University Studies on the effect o f preplant treatment of seed material with micronutrients BZn and BCu plus phytohormone Germin on the yield and quality of flax straw and flax seeds were continued using flax cultivar ‘Laura’. The yield and quality of flax straw and flax seeds increased significantly, especially under unfavourable environmental conditions. Anatomical studies on flax stems showed that the best effect on flax fibre formation was by treatment of seed material with copper borate BCu plus pytohormone Germin which resulted in a nearly uninterrupted fibre cylinder in the flax stems. Key words: Micronutrients, flax, pfytohormone, fibres

In chronic dermatoses significantly increases the colonization of skin by bacteria and fungi, which can have a negative impact on the course of inflammatory process. Cream Candiderm is a modern combined topical drug that has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antifungal activity. The aim of the study was to assess the efficacy, safety and tolerability of the cream Candiderm in the treatment of patients with eczema and atopic dermatitis.Material and methods. 37 patients with AD and 28 patients with eczema. Applied cream Candiderm 2 times a day, which was applied to the affected area of the skin. Before and on the 14 day of therapy was conducted bacteriological examination of the microflora of the skin rashes. Results: at 14 days in patients with eczema remission was achieved in 17 (61 %) patients, significant improvement 6 (21 %), improvement in 4 (14 %), lack of effect in 1 (4 %); in patients with AD remission was observed in 23 (62 %) patients, significant improvement in 7 (19 %), and improvement in 5 (14 %), lack of effect in 2 (5 %).Conclusions: high clinical efficacy of the cream of Candiderm allows recommending it for topical therapy of patients with eczema and atopic dermatitis

Structural features of Ni-Cr-Si-B materials obtained by different technologies

This study considers the structural features of Ni-Cr-Si-B (Ni - base; 15.1 % Cr; 2 % Si; 2 % B; 0.4 % C) materials obtained by different methods. The self-fluxing coatings were deposited by plasma spraying on the tubes from low carbon steel. Bulk cylinder specimens of 20 mm diameter and 15 mm height were obtained by spark plasma sintering (SPS). The structure and phase composition of these materials were investigated by optical microscopy (OM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and X-ray diffractometry (XRD). The major phases of coatings and sintered materials are [gamma]-Ni, Ni[3]B, CrB and Cr[7]C[3]. We demonstrate that the particle unmelted in the process of plasma spraying or SPS consist of [gamma]-Ni-NEB eutectic and also CrB and Cr[7]C[3] inclusions. The prolonged exposure of powder to high temperatures as well as slow cooling rates by SPS provide for the growth of the structural components as compared to those of plasma coatings materials. High cooling rates at the plasma spraying by melted particles contribute to the formation of supersaturated solid solution of Cr, Si and Fe in [gamma]-Ni. The structure of the melted particles in sintering material has gradient composition: the core constituted of Ni grains of 10 μm with [gamma]-Ni-Ni[3]B eutectic on the edges. The results of the experiment demonstrate that the sintering material has a smaller microhardness in comparison with plasma coatings (650 and 850 MPa, respectively), but at the same time the material has higher density (porosity less than 1 %) than plasma coatings (porosity about 2.. .3 %)

Tо Ecological Monitoring of Self- Propelled Field Sprinklers

An improved method for making a decision on choosing the best self-propelled sprayer from alternative options is proposed. It refers to new developments in various fields of environmental monitoring and analysis of field self-propelled sprinklers, but which substantiate the studied factors characterizing each unit. The factors are taken with real values of calculated parameters, for which the desirability function and weighty coefficients are developed using the method of pairwise comparison of calculated parameters of absolute and relative rank places and the percentile function. The dependence of the transfer of calculated parameters of the unit from real values to dimensionless ones for the y’ scale is clarified, according to which the desirability function is calculated, and then a generalized parameter characterizing the complex evaluation of the unit in respect to the weighting coefficient of each estimated parameter. The decision is made according to the maximum value of the parameters of integrated assessment of the sprinkler, in this task for the sprinkler TUMAN-1 (Russia), for which the value of the parameter of integrated assessment is obtained

The organization of combined voluntary goal directed movements of hands has remained a serious scientific problem with a pronounced applicable nature.  Insufficiency of a procedural framework and clear quantitative and qualitative criteria causes gaps and difficulties in professional selection, the effectiveness diagnosis of work-out session in sports and rehabilitation within remedial treatment.  The aim of the investigation is to study the adjustment and co-adjustment of the effector apparatus elements, which are the basis of bimanual coordination, in the groups of male and female trial subjects. In the following study, based on informed consent in accordance with the ethics committee requirements, 75 subjects (39 men and 36 women) at the age of 18-20 took part. F-wave and M-response parameters registration was carried out by means of NMA-4-01 “NEUROMIAN” neuromyoanalyzer (Taganrog, Russia) according to the standard method. It has been established that the nerve centers responsible for the work of homonymous muscles in the right and left forearms, innervating synergists and antagonists, are to a certain extent in the initial adjustment and co-adjustment according to the level of activity, which determines not only the moment of the excitement onset, but also the speed of its irradiation.  The revealed manifestations of adjustment and co-adjustment have pronounced sex differences.  Proceeding from the fact that female trial subjects have a lower level of bimanual movements if compared with men, it can be assumed that the revealed features of correlational relationships determine, to a certain extent, coordination abilities of men and women
