A relativistic quantum broadcast channel
We investigate the transmission of classical and quantum information between
three observers in a general globally hyperbolic spacetime using a quantum
scalar field as a communication channel. We build a model for a quantum
broadcast channel in which one observer (sender) wishes to transmit (classical
and quantum) information to two other observers (receivers). They possess some
localized two-level quantum system (a qubit) that can interact with the quantum
field in order to prepare an input or receive the output of this channel. The
field is supposed to be in an arbitrary quasifree state, the three observers
may be in arbitrary states of motion, and no choice of representation of the
field canonical commutation relations is made. The interaction of the field and
qubits is such that it allows us to obtain the map that describes this channel
in a non-perturbative manner. We conclude by analyzing the rates at which
information can be transmitted through this channel and by investigating
relativistic causality effects on such rates.Comment: 15 pages, 1 figur

After my contact with the problem of the possibility of temporal reversal in the logical-mathematical structures of physical theories by Dr. Marina Cortês (University of Edinburgh) at the Perimeter Institute, I returned to Brazil determined to work on this topic with my students. The focus of the proposal of this work is the discussion in the high school of some limits of the physical theories and, therefore, of the physics itself. We do this through the use of texts of scientific dissemination, inspired by the reading proposal in three moments of Solé. It is intended to make clear that the natural sciences are also a prominently human endeavor, reviewable and certainly less absolute than is commonly believed. In particular, addressing this subject which is remarkably and has been neglected in the history of the physical sciences. What we were looking for when using scientific texts was to envision a coherent and achievable possibility of fulfilling this desire.
In this paper, I share a proposal to use Geogebra software to teach, in a more meaningful way, geometric optics of thin spherical lenses. Several works in science teaching show that the use of technology in the classroom by teachers and students favors the engagement of process participants. As well as creating a more conducive environment for meaningful learning for a wider range of students. To achieve this goal, I have constructed a proposal of work for teachers of high school using a digital platform in which it is possible to interact with geometric objects compatible with the description of thin spherical lenses. I believe that the use of this resource as a complementary approach to the subject can contribute positively to meaningful student learning.
The environmental suitability of the property with the environmental legislation is a legalrequirement today. The present work has as main objective to use environmental education as atool to the process of adjusting the properties of the Family Agriculture of Rio Grande do Sul Stateto environmental legislation. In Rio Grande do Sul State, the majority of the properties areclassified as Family Farming. It's main features are the small size of areas for exploration andcrops, intensive land use, large production of income and use of hand labor per unit area and is aproducer of staple foods consumed by the population. In terms of legislation, the Forestry Code isthe principal law package acting on the properties of Family Farming. The Forest Code stipulatesthe main forms of environmental preservation of the Permanent Preservation Areas and LegalReserves. These conservation areas have many functions for both the property and to society. Theproducer must comply with the dimensions imposed for these areas. To do so takes many forms such as netting, natural regeneration and, for example, restoration to the legal reserve and naturalregeneration, planting native species and planting native species combined with naturalregeneration. Agroforestry can be a solution in the restoration/remediation for PermanentPreservation Areas and Legal Reserves. Environmental education act as a catalyst in theseprocesses leading information. Therefore, the family farmer can adapt itself and understand howthey can cause or remedy the least possible damage to their production systems.http://dx.doi.org/10.5902/223611703896A adequação ambiental da propriedade rural à legislação ambiental vigente é uma exigência muito forte nos dias atuais.

What is the meaning of training teachers for Basic Education? What is the meaning of being a Basic Education teacher? How to think about developing the teacher's identity? These are some of the issues that the authors - one in Guarulhos, SP (UNIFESP) educating pedagogues and the other involved with the Geography Teaching Education Night Course, in Porto Alegre, RS (UFRGS) - intend to reflect upon. Not pretending to propose 'essentialist' answers. Based on the experience with the PIBIB at UNIFESP and the final stages of the teacher education course at UFRGS, we observe some of the students’ journey, in the process of their development. The search for positivities and weaknesses in both experiences points us to the search for the reflexive teacher, the one whose action avoids being repetitive and accommodated.
