*P-Finsler spaces with vanishing Douglas tensor.
The purpose of the present paper is to prove that a 'P-Randers space with vanishing Douglas tensor is a Riemannian space if the dimension is greater then three
Finsler geometria és alkalmazásai = Finsler geometry and its applications
A beszámolási idĹ‘szakban a munkatervnek megfelelĹ‘en egyrĂ©szt a Finsler geometria lokális összefĂĽggĂ©seivel, a speciális Finsler terekkel, a projektĂv lekĂ©pezĂ©sek tulajdonságaival foglalkoztunk, másrĂ©szt globális Riemann geometriai eredmĂ©nyek Finsler terekre vonatkozĂł általánosĂtásaival. A munka eredmĂ©nyekĂ©nt 17 tudományos dolgozat szĂĽletett, ebbĹ‘l megjelent 13, 1 elfogadva megjelenĂ©s elĹ‘tt, 1 benyĂşjtva, Ă©s 2 elĹ‘kĂ©szĂĽlet alatt van. 19 alkalommal tartottunk elĹ‘adásokat, -- rĂ©szben meghĂvott elĹ‘adĂłkĂ©nt -- nemzetközi differenciálgeometriai konferenciákon, többsĂ©gĂ©ben kĂĽlföldön Egy alkalommal, 2007-ben mi rendeztĂĽnk workshop jellegű nemzetközi egy hetes találkozĂłt Balatonföldváron, ahová 13 országbĂłl 45 rĂ©szvevĹ‘ jött el elĹ‘adni Ă©s megvitatni a Finsler geometria legĂşjabb problĂ©máit. A kutatásokba bevontunk fiatalokat is, doktorandusz hallgatĂłkat, többen társszerzĹ‘kĂ©nt szerepelnek a publikáciĂłknál, 2 doktori (PhD) vĂ©dĂ©s is törtĂ©nt az idĹ‘szak alatt. A kutatásokat rĂ©szben kĂĽlföldi szerzĹ‘társakkal egyĂĽtt vĂ©geztĂĽk (Csehország, KĂna, Japán, Románia, Irán). Az OTKA támogatása igen nagymĂ©rtĂ©kben hozzájárult ahhoz, hogy egyrĂ©szt a kutatásokat zavartalanul, eredmĂ©nyesen, Ă©s a kĂĽlföldi kutatĂłkkal egyĂĽttműködve tudjuk vĂ©gezni, eredmĂ©nyeinket nemzetközi konferenciákon ismertethettĂĽk, Ă©s kĂĽlföldi vendĂ©geket tudtunk Debrecenbe meghĂvni, a vezetĹ‘ kutatĂłk Ă©s a doktoranduszok is közvetlen bekapcsolĂłdhattak a nemzetközi közös kutatásokba. | During the report period we dealt with the research objectives given in the Work Plan: special classes of Finsler spaces, projective mappings and global issues of Riemannian geometry to generalize to Finsler geometry. 17 papers have been written, 13 of them have already appeared, one accepted. We had 19 lectures at international conferences and workshop, mainly abroad, partially as invited speakers. In 2007, Balatonföldvár, Hungary we organized an international workshop on Finsler geometry and its applications, with 45 participants from 13 countries. PhD students and young scientists have been involved in the project, some of them are coauthors of the published papers. 2 of them defended Thesis for PhD degree in 2006. The project was done in active international cooperation, we had joint authors from China, Czech Republic, Japan and Romania. The financial support of OTKA made it possible to carry on the successful project, promoting our attendance to conferences, and covering partially the cost of invitation of foreign scientist
