The effect of solvent polarityon solubility of HMX and FOX-7: A DFT study

    Get PDF
Production of micro and submicron-sized particles with a narrow particle size distribution (PSD) is gaining interests in materials technology especially in specialty chemicals. There are many conventional methods for the size reduction of particles such as milling, grinding, crushing, spray drying, and recrystallization from liquid solutions. A new, promising process for particulation of materials employs environmentally benign compressed gases as either solvents or anti-solvents. The molecular geometry of HMX and FOX-7 has been calculated by using the density functional method (B3LYP) invoking 6-311++G(d,p) basis set.The solvent effect was treated using a continuum model as modeled in hexane, benzene, chloroform, tetrahydrofurane, acetone, ethanol, methanol, dimethylformamide, acetonitrile and DMSO. Furthermore, dipole moment (D), polarizability (α),molecular electrostatic potential map (MEP), thermodynamic, frontier molecular orbital analysis (HOMO–LUMO), hardness (η), electronic chemical potential (µ), global electrophilicity index (ω) and ΔGsolv properties for HMX and FOX-7 in several solvents have been investigated and discussed. It is found that with an increasing solvent dielectric constant, the dipole moment of the molecules under study also increases

The subject of this research article is the investigation of factors and the rate of mortality in broiler chickens in poultry farms in Maymana city. This article examines the technical, technological, and managerial factors related to poultry farms and aims to assess their impact on the mortality rate of broiler chickens in Maymana city farms. This research can contribute to improving the conditions of chick rearing and reducing mortality rates in the broiler poultry industry. The investigation of factors and the rate of mortality in broiler chickens in poultry farms in Maymana city holds great importance in the broiler poultry industry. The mortality of chicks in the early stages of the production chain leads to profitability and performance decline in poultry farms due to technical, technological, and managerial issues. A detailed examination of these factors and the determination of appropriate strategies to reduce chick mortality can enhance the performance and efficiency of the broiler poultry industry. Therefore, this subject is of significant importance and contributes to sustainable development and improvement in the quality of broiler chicken rearing. The objective of this research article is to investigate the technical, technological, and managerial factors and their impact on the mortality rate of broiler chickens in poultry farms in Maymana city. In this research, using a descriptive research method, the status of the poultry rearing industry and the relationship of its dependent variables were examined. After preliminary investigations, 17 active poultry farms were selected using the systematic sampling method (SD) for conducting face-to-face interviews and completing questionnaires. The results showed that many of the examined farms did not reach a satisfactory level in terms of technical, technological, and managerial factors. The influence of each of these factors on animal losses in broiler farms was 31.71%, 33.08%, and 34.19%, respectively. Additionally, disease factors also had an impact on animal losses. The common diseases in broiler farms in Maymana city included Newcastle disease, avian influenza, and Gumboro, which caused significant losses in the chickens

Entrepreneurship in order to generate income and employment is one of the most important tools for rural development and the present study has been prepared with the same purpose and as the evaluation of rural performance in improving entrepreneurship infrastructure for rural entrepreneurship development in Khalilabad city. The present research is applied in terms of purpose and in terms of descriptive-analytical method, which used library and field methods to collect information and a researcher-made questionnaire for field data. The sample population was randomly studied using Cochran's formula including 370 people in 23 villages of the city. The results obtained in the villages of the city show that the performance of rural villagers in Khalilabad city in order to develop rural entrepreneurship has been weak. The villages of the city, except for the development of public infrastructure (water, electricity, etc.) in other areas of entrepreneurial infrastructure have not performed well and have not been able to achieve the desired goals

Entrepreneurship is one of the most important tools for planning and achieving the development of rural communities. Today, due to the problems in these communities, attention and emphasis on rural entrepreneurship is very important; Because entrepreneurship can play an effective role in improving the economic and living conditions of villages by creating new employment and income opportunities, and the present study aims to evaluate the performance of modern rural management (rural) in improving social contexts and attracting financial resources. It has been prepared for the development of rural entrepreneurship in Khalilabad city. The present research is applied in terms of purpose and in terms of descriptive-analytical method, which used library and field methods to collect information and a researcher-made questionnaire for field data. Concepts for radically increasing the numerical convergence rate of the Euler equations

    Get PDF
Integral equation and finite difference methods have been developed for solving transonic flow problems using linearized forms of the transonic small disturbance and Euler equations. A key element is the use of a strained coordinate system in which the shock remains fixed. Additional criteria are developed to determine the free parameters in the coordinate straining; these free parameters are functions of the shock location. An integral equation analysis showed that the shock is located by ensuring that no expansion shocks exist in the solution. The expansion shock appears as oscillations in the solution near the sonic line, and the correct shock location is determined by removing these oscillations. A second objective was to study the ability of the Euler equation to model separated flow

Investigation Effect of Biorhythm on Work-Related Accidents in The Metal Industry (A Short Report)

Biorhythm is one of the newest subjects in the field of cognition of mental ergonomics which can be very effective in reduction of work-related accidents or mistakes with no apparent reason. With evaluating Biorhythm individuals can intervention action to reduce job accidents carried out. Thus, the aim of this study was to determine the relationship Biorhythm and work-related accidents in the metal industry. This research is a cross-sectional and analytical-descriptive in the metal industrial Isfahan city of 120 work-related accidents during 2015. The required information was collected from available documents in HSE unit of the company biorhythm charts were drawn based on a date of accidents and participants birthdays, using natural Biorhythm Software V3.02 Conduct. Finally، the data were analyzed using spss version 20 and descriptive statistics. This study showed that the frequency of accidents in critical days and negative section of physical cycle was more than expected. Also the frequency of accidents in critical days and negative section of emotional and intellectual cycles was less than expected. Most type of injury, including cuts to 35.8 percent and the lowest type of injury was torsion with 5 percent. Most limb injury, hands and fingers with 51.7 percent and the lowest limb injury were back at 2.5 percent. Accidents outbreak in physical cycles was 38.3 percent. These 120 accidents in additionally were causing 120 loss of working days in effect accident. Most percent of loss of working days were for 20 to 30 days with of 39.2 percent. Most percent of loss of working days were for 20 to 30 days with of 39.2 percent. Due to the physical nature of the work activities in the metal industry can be stated that the study showed that in physical work activities, frequency of accidents in critical days and negative section of physical cycle in which the person is not physically ready to do the job was more than expected. Therefore, by training and increasing the knowledge of workers regarding biological cycle and its effects on mental, emotional and physical status, each person effects can make some changes to their work plans during days that they do not feel well, physically or mentally, in order to prevent the likely accidents
