    The mask and body temperature detection system for public places is still operated manually. The system was found not to adjust to the conditions of office employees, which required them to always be on guard and check the body temperature of every employee who would enter the office. Therefore, a mask and body temperature detection system was designed as a prerequisite for internet of things-based attendance that can make it easier for office employees to check the body temperature of everyone who will work, and so that employees can be disciplined in time. This system requires a temperaturesensor to detect the body temperature of people who will enter. A person's body temperature is said to be normal if it is lessthan 37.20C. If the temperature exceeds 37.20 C, then a person cannot take attendance. In addition to having a normal body temperature, the second requirement must be met, namely passing mask detection. Someone must wear a mask before entering the room, before taking attendance using a fingerprint. Arduino Uno will send data from the temperature sensor to the database and a 16x2 LCD, so that the system can be connected to the web which can be monitored by the administrator to get data on the number of office employees based on body temperature. In addition, a Raspberry Pi is used which will senddata from the webcam as a result of the mask detection image processing. The results of this final project indicate that the data sent to the web is in accordance with the data based on testing tools

    Hubungan Motivasi Berprestasi Dan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Dengan Kemampuan Menulis Narasi

    The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of achievement motivation and ability to think critically with ability to write narrative. This study is the correlation was conducted in the public elementary school district subdistrict Cibitung  Bekasi. Samples were obtained by simple random sampling technique. The sample size was 100 people with 25 people each at any public elementary school. This study used a survey method with a correlation technique (connectedness). The result show that there is a positive relationship between: (1) achievement motivation with ability to write narrative; (2) ability to think critically with ability to write narrative; (3) achievement motivation and ability to think critically with ability to write narrative. Based on the findings in this study, the authors suggest that educators approached by students using interesting and appropriate learning media so as to enhance the achievment motivation and ability to think critically of students and to facilitate studentsnin writing narrative process activities.   Keywords: achievement motivation, ability to think critically, ability to write narrativ

    ANALISIS PEMBERDAYAAN PENERIMA MANFAAT PROGRAM ETOS ID DI LEMBAGA PENGEMBANGAN INSANI DOMPET DHUAFA

    Abstract: Poverty is a complex problem that involves several factors such as education level, income, lack of knowledge and skills and human resources, so that children born to poor families are likely to have lower levels of education and they tend to work in low-income sectors. This study aims to determine the implementation of the Etos ID program and determine the results of empowerment in the Etos ID program. This study used a qualitative approach, in collecting informants the researcher used a purposive sampling technique, data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation, data analysis techniques used data analysis techniques proposed by Miles and Huberman, and data validity techniques used source triangulation. The research results obtained show that in carrying out empowerment in the ID Etos (Improvement and Development) program, LPI DD carries out several stages including the preparation stage, the assessment or assessment stage, the alternative program or activity planning stage, the action plan formulation stage, the program or activity implementation stage, evaluation stage and termination stage. The results of empowerment in the Etos ID program in the economic, educational, health, spiritual, technological and political fields were considered optimal.Keywords:  Empowerment; Benefit recipients; Scholarship.Abstrak: Kemiskinan adalah masalah kompleks yang melibatkan beberapa faktor seperti tingkat pendidikan, pendapatan, kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan serta SDM, sehingga anak yang terlahir dari keluarga miskin berpeluang memiliki tingkat pendidikan yang lebih rendah dan mereka cenderung bekerja di sektor yang berpenghasilan rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan program Etos ID dan mengetahui hasil pemberdayaan pada program Etos ID. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dalam pengambilan informan peneliti menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data yang dikemukakan oleh Miles dan Huberman, dan teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan menunjukan bahwa dalam melaksanakan pemberdayaan pada program Etos ID (Improvement and Development), LPI DD menjalankan beberapa tahapan di antaranya tahap persiapan, tahap pengkajian atau assessment, tahap perencanaan alternatif program atau kegiatan, tahap pemformulasian rencana aksi, tahap pelaksanaan program atau kegiatan, tahap evaluasi dan tahap terminasi. Hasil pemberdayaan pada program Etos ID di bidang ekonomi, pendidikan, kesehatan, spiritual, teknologi dan politik dinilai maksimal.Kata Kunci: Pemberdayaan; Penerima Manfaat; Beasiswa

    KAJIAN TATA UPACARA ADAT PENGANTIN PUTRI JENGGOLO SIDOARJO

    AbstrakSidoarjo memiliki budaya khas dalam pelaksanaan pernikahan. Terdapat 3 tahapan upacara adatpengantin Putri Jenggolo Sidoarjo, yaitu tahapan pra nikah, menjelang pernikahan dan pasca menikah.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui sejarah, tata upacara adat dan makna yang terkandung dalamtata upacara adat pengantin Putri Jenggolo Sidoarjo. Metode penelitian ini deskriptif kualitatif. Teknikpengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Sumber penelitiandari 3 narasumber yaitu budayawan, perias senior, tim peneliti dan pengembangan. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa (1) Pengantin Sidoarjo diciptakan oleh salah satu perias senior yang berasal dariKrian, Sidoarjo. Namun, perias tersebut belum memberikan nama pengantin yang diciptakan karenaterkendalanya wadah untuk membesarkan pengantin tersebut. Penelitian ini dilimpahkan kepada BapakSudirman sebagai budayawan Sidoarjo yang berpedoman pada penciptaan pengantin Mojoputri dariMojokerto. Penciptaan pengantin ini berdasarkan kerajaan dan situs purbakala yang ada di Jawa Timur.(2) Tata upacara adat pengantin Putri Jenggolo Sidoarjo terdiri dari 3 tahapan, yaitu tahapan pra nikah,tahapan menjelang pernikahan dan tahapan pasca menikah. (3) Makna yang terkandung dalam tataupacara adat pengantin Putri Jenggolo. Sidoarjo terdapat pada tahapan pasca menikah yaitu temumanten, meliputi rebut jago loro pangkon, tukar kembar mayang rontek, memberi bekusut, menginjakgandik dan pipisan, tutuk telur, mendudukkan kedua mempelai ke pelaminan oleh kedua orang tua,jemput besan, makan nasi kuning dan sungkeman.Kata kunci: upacara, adat, Putri Jenggol

    The impact of dictogloss and blogging on EFL students’ writing skills in an Indonesian tertiary vocational college

    The purpose of this study is to assess students' writing abilities using dictogloss and blogging. It involved 24 students from vocational colleges and incorporated five audio scripts from Hughes and Naunton's "Students Book of Business Results (Intermediate)" (2008). It employed a mixed method in the form of a quasi-experimental. The data was acquired using questionnaires and interviews. The students were divided into two groups: half were assigned to the control group, while the other half were assigned to the experimental group, which received training while the control group did not. The experimental group achieved a score of 59, whereas the control group achieved an average score of 41. Future research should look in depth at how creatively tertiary vocational college students think, especially through listening activities

    Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini memiliki tujuan untuk memberikan sosialisasi peran keluarga sebagai pondasi penguatan motivasi belajar siswa di tengah pandemi Covid-19 pada masyarakat desa jatisari kabupaten karawang. Metode yang digunakan dalam mencapai tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian yang dilaksanakan di tengah pandemi covid-19 ini melalui ceramah dan tanya jawab dengan pertemuan melalui zoom meeting. Pelaksanaan pengabdian dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus 2020. Hadirnya sosialisasi peran keluarga sebagai pondasi penguatan motivasi belajar siswa ditengah pandemi Covid-19 diharapkan mampu memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat mengenai pentingnya peran keluarga sebagai pondasi penguatan motivasi belajar siswa sehingga meminimalisir penurunan motivasi siswa dalam belajar dirumah, pelaksanaan pembelajaran dapat dilakukan melalui metode dan media sosial yang mendukung termotivasinya siswa dalam belajar, juga pentingnya peran keluarga dalam memberikan pemahaman kepada anak mengenai bahaya kesehatan dari covid-19. Dengan demikian diharapkan tumbuhnya pemahaman peran keluarga dalam penguatan motivasi siswa belajar dirumah selama masa pandemi covid-19 dengan tetap menjaga kesehatan sesuai anjuran dari pemerintah untuk tetap mengedepankan protokol kesehatan dalam pembelajaran dirumah, karena sehat menjadi kunci utama dalam belajar. This community service activity aims to provide socialization on the role of the family as a foundation for strengthening student motivation in the Covid-19 pandemic in the village community of Jatisari, Karawang district. The method used in achieving the implementation of service activities carried out in the Covid-19 pandemic is through lectures and questions and answers with meetings through zoom meetings. The implementation of the service was carried out in August 2020. The socialization of the role of the family as a foundation for strengthening student motivation in the Covid-19 pandemic is expected to be able to provide education to the community about the importance of the role of the     family as a foundation for strengthening student learning motivation to minimize the decrease in student motivation in learning at home, implementing learning This can be done through methods and social media that support student motivation in learning, as well as the importance of the role of the family in providing understanding to children about the health dangers of Covid-19. Thus it is hoped that the understanding of the role of the family in the motivation of students who study at home during the Covid-19 pandemic will grow while maintaining health according to recommendations from the government to continue to prioritize health protocols in learning at home, because being healthy is the main key in learning.     Analisis dan Rekonstruksi Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik Indra Pengecap Berbasis Diagram Vee: (Analysis and Reconstruction of Tastebuds Student Worksheets Based on the Vee Diagram)

    Student worksheets are often used as practical guide to direct students in carrying out laboratory activities. Therefore, the quality of student worksheet will highly determine the quality of experience and understanding of students obtained from a laboratory activity. This study aims to explain the results of the analysis, testing, and reconstruction of the tastebuds student worksheets created to fulfill the basic competencies in National Curriculum 2006 and 2013. The research method used was qualitative descriptive method and the sample were 12 student worksheets selected using a total sampling technique. The research instruments used were conceptual analysis rubric, procedural analysis rubric, and knowledge construction rubric based on the Vee Diagram adapted from Novak & Gowin (1984). The results showed that conceptually the student worksheets analyzed did not contain knowledge and skills according to curriculum. Procedurally, most of the laboratory activities in student worksheets were still not relevant with the objectives and basic competencies in curriculum. In terms of knowledge construction, almost all of the student worksheets have a complete Vee Diagram components, although with differences in quality of each component. Based on the problems found, the tastebuds student worksheets require a reconstruction for the conceptual, procedural, and knowledge construction aspects.  Abstrak. Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) seringkali digunakan sebagai panduan untuk mengarahkan peserta didik dalam melaksanakan kegiatan praktikum. Oleh karenanya, kualitas LKPD akan sangat menentukan kualitas pengalaman dan pemahaman peserta didik yang diperoleh dari suatu kegiatan praktikum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan hasil analisis, uji coba, dan rekonstruksi terhadap LKPD Indra Pengecap yang disusun untuk memenuhi tuntutan kompetensi dasar di Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP) 2006 dan Kurikulum 2013. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 12 LKPD yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah rubrik analisis konseptual, rubrik analisis prosedural, dan rubrik analisis konstruksi pengetahuan yang terdiri dari rubrik kelengkapan komponen LKPD dan rubrik penskoran komponen LKPD berdasarkan Diagram Vee yang diadaptasi dari Novak & Gowin (1984). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara konseptual LKPD Indera Pengecap yang dianalisis belum memuat konten dan melatih kompetensi yang sesuai dengan tuntutan kurikulum. Secara prosedural, sebagian besar kegiatan praktikum di LKPD Indera Pengecap masih belum relevan dengan tujuan praktikum dan kompetensi dasar di kurikulum. Dari segi konstruksi pengetahuan, hampir seluruh LKPD Indra Pengecap memiliki komponen Diagram Vee lengkap, meskipun dengan kualitas komponen yang berbeda-beda. Berdasarkan permasalahan-permasalahan yang ditemukan, maka LKPD Indra Pengecap memerlukan rekonstruksi dari sisi konseptual, prosedural, maupun konstruksi pengetahuan

    Violence against Chinese Indonesian women in the May 1998 Riots of Indonesia, particularly that took place in Surabaya, is related to the New Order administration. The negatives sentiments towards Chinese Indonesians which many natives Indonesians still have after 30 September Movement (G30S/PKI) led to the discrimination of Chinese Indonesians in the form of numerous policies that passed by the government. The aim of this study is to find out the reason why many Chinese Indonesian women suffers more from sexual violence during the 1998 event and the native Indonesians' perception towards Chinese Indonesians during the New Order era.Using historical research methodologies (heuristic, verification, interpretation, and historiography), this study used data triangulation for the verification method to determine the validity of data that were collected from in-depth interviews and archival research in National Commission on Violence Against Women (KOMNAS Perempuan) and Evi Lina Sutrisno’s thesis. The researcher believes that those data are valid because 1) National Commission on Violence Against Women (KOMNAS Perempuan) have documents in the form of Catahu Komnas Perempuan (Catatan Tahunan KOMNAS Perempuan/National Commission on Violence Against Women’s Yearly Report) and a series of documents called Seri Dokumen Kunci KOMNAS Perempuan that are published every year, and 2) Evi Lina Sutrisno was an activist and a witness of May 1998 Riots in Surabaya.     This research aims to analyze the design of laboratory activities (LKS) based on Vee diagrams on alcoholic fermentation respiration materials used in SMA/MA and then reconstruct them. This research method is descriptive qualitative with sampling carried out by purposive sampling by purposive sampling as many as 3 worksheet which refers to the 2013 curriculum. These results can be seen that the LKS on the alcohol fermentation material analyzed still cannot be used as a guide for practicum because it does not support aspects of competence and knowledge construction.     Analysis and Reconstruction Design of Laboratory Activities in Osmosis Materials

    Practicum and laboratory activities cannot be taken from biology learning. Activities require Laboratory Activity Designs and Student Worksheets as instructions for their implementation. Based on the results of a field study) that student worksheet measured in the field has several problems. Therefore, to overcome this, an in-depth analysis and reconstruction of student worksheet is needed. This study aims to describe the results of the analysis, trials and reconstruction of student worksheet osmosis to meet the requirements of the 2013 curriculum. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a sample of 8 student worksheet from the 2004 curriculum, school based curriculum and 2013 curriculum. The selected student worksheet uses purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used was in the form of practical analysis, knowledge construction, and the relevance of the curriculum and content. Based on the results of the relevance analysis, most of the student worksheet are relevant to the curriculum. From the aspect of knowledge construction, student worksheet cannot yet describe the development of student skills. The results of the reconstruction that have been made have been assessed by experts. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a sample of 8 student worksheet from the 2004 curriculum, school based curriculum and 2013 curriculum.
