OS MOVIMENTOS FEMINISTAS NO LIVRO DIDÁTICO DE GEOGRAFIA: SUB-REPRESENTAÇÃO OU PRESCRIÇÃO?

Este artículo promueve reflexiones sobre la representación de los movimientos feministas en la colección #contatoGeografia, utilizada en las escuelas del Alto Sertão de Bahía, parte del Programa Nacional de Libros de Texto (PNLD) del año 2018. El análisis de contenido fue la principal estrategia metodológica a partir de la cual Se realizaron lecturas y análisis de la citada colección, buscando los movimientos sociales como categoría a priori, y por la relevancia de las agendas, el movimiento feminista fue una categoría necesaria, seleccionada a posteriori. En vista de lo observado, se elaboró ​​un cuadro demostrativo en el que se analizaron, tabularon y registraron los datos recolectados, luego se hicieron inferencias sobre la categoría en cuestión y su representación. Observamos que, a pesar de que los movimientos feministas están de alguna manera representados en la obra, rara vez se mencionan y de manera superficial. Conscientes de la influencia de los libros de texto en la educación escolar y, consecuentemente, en el desarrollo humano en su conjunto, se entiende que el poco espacio dado a los movimientos feministas es señalado como una denuncia de la todavía incipiente política de diversidad e igualdad de género en el sistema educativo brasileño..This research promotes reflections on the representation of feminist movements in the #contatoGeografia textbook, used in schools in the Alto Sertão of Bahia, part of the National Program Textbook (NPT) of the year 2018. Content analysis was the methodological approach through which readings and analyzes of the aforementioned collection were carried out, seeking as an a priori category the social movements, and due to the relevance of the agendas, the feminist movement established itself as a necessary category, selected after. Given what was observed, a demonstrative table was produced in which the collected data were analyzed, tabulated and recorded, then inferences were made about the category in question and its representation. We observed that, although feminist movements are somehow represented in the work, they are rarely mentioned and in a superficial way. Aware of the influence of textbooks on school education and, consequently, on human formation as a whole, it is understood that the little space given to feminist movements is a denunciation of the still incipient policy of diversity and gender equality in the brazilian educational system.O presente artigo promove reflexões a respeito da representação dos movimentos feministas na coleção #contatoGeografia, utilizada em escolas do Alto Sertão baiano, parte do Programa Nacional do Livro Didático (PNLD) do ano de 2018. Development of a platform to align education and practice: bridging academia and the profession in Portugal

Limited fitness for practice may result from a mismatch between education and practice. Aiming to meet the common interests of academics and practitioners, the Portuguese Pharmaceutical Society (PPS) developed the Education and Practice Platform (EPP). The EPP includes one representative from each pharmacy faculty, and all Councils of Speciality Boards of Practice. Brainstorming with involved parties enabled sharing of interests, concerns and identifying a common path. Aims, mission, vision and values were set. The EPP's mission is to: act as an enabler to foster the quality and adequacy of education through sharing best practices, ultimately leading to facilitate professional integration, and to foster quality development in teaching practices with recognition for autonomy in freedom to teach and to learn. Its vision is an alignment of education and practice with the PPS' statutes to ensure validation of the competences defined for each practice area, and compliance with international guidance. Key performance indicators (KPIs) were set. Activities developed include the creation of a national forum to discuss education and practice, development of workshops on teaching methods and pharmacy internships, enhanced representation in international events and response to global and national requests. Ongoing work focuses on the creation of a common training framework in hospital and community pharmacy practice adapted to Portugal. The EPP is a worldwide case study, encouraging the development of discussion contributing to an open climate of sharing best practices, indirectly leading to foster a better alignment between education and practice. ANÁLISE DAS TENDÊNCIAS TEMPORAIS DOS PARÂMETROS DE QUALIDADE DE ÁGUA DA BACIA DO RIO PARACATU EM FUNÇÃO DO USO E OCUPAÇÃO DO SOLO

A sub-bacia do rio Paracatu insere-se na bacia do rio São Francisco e o rio Paracatu é o maior e mais cau-daloso afluente do rio São Francisco contribuindo com 40% da vazão no ponto de interseção dos dois rios, além de re-presentar 20,8% na formação da vazão total do rio São Francisco. Dessa forma, o objetivo do estudo foi realizar análises de tendências de séries temporais de 18 parâmetros de qualidade da água. As análises incluíram a verificação da sazonalidade, autocorrelação e testes de tendência temporal não paramétricos de Man-Kendall (MK) e Sazonal Mann-Kendall (SMK). Foi utilizada uma série histórica de oito anos, considerando os dados de monitoramento da qualidade das águas obtidos entre 2006 e 2013, em 27 estações de mo-nitoramento pertencentes à rede de monitoramento do Insti-tuto Mineiro de Gestão das Águas (IGAM). Foi possível observar uma predominância de ausência de alteração na qualidade da água das estações de monitoramento avaliadas em relação aos dezoito parâmetros estudados. Esses resulta-dos podem indicar um cenário de manutenção de concentra-ções que violam os valores estabelecidos na legislação esta-dual, ou seja, uma contínua degradação dos corpos hídricos da sub-bacia do rio Paracatu. Houve uma tendência de ele-vação das concentrações em quase todas as estações de mo-nitoramento da bacia para os parâmetros cloreto total, fenóis totais e nitrato, indicando o aumento da atividade de agri-cultura na região

Model for teaching direct ophthalmoscopy

This paper presents a simple construction model of the human eye to be used to teach the technique of direct ophthalmoscopy to medical students. The model facilitates the learning process and contributes to the training of physicians adequately prepared to diagnose problems that can lead to blindness, allowing rapid referral of patients to specialized services. Here we discuss some basic aspects of the human eye optics and direct ophthalmoscope as well as its use.Este trabalho apresenta um modelo de olho humano de simples construção para ser usado no ensino da técnica de oftalmoscopia direta para estudantes de medicina. O modelo facilita o aprendizado e contribui para a formação de médicos adequadamente preparados para diagnosticar problemas que podem levar à cegueira, permitindo o rápido encaminhamento dos pacientes para os serviços especializados. Avaliação estrutural das opções existentes para implantação de mezaninos metálicos e sua influência na capacidade portante da estrutura de concreto existente

Projetos de reforço estrutural requerem um grande cuidado tanto dos projetistas quando dos executores, uma vez que ao fazê-lo, não se deve deteriorar a estrutura já existente, que estiver em boas condições. Neste estudo foram avaliadas as condições da estrutura de um local que, futuramente, seria a Casa de Diversões HOG CLUB, onde três mezaninos seriam instalados para aumentar a sua área útil. Em seguida. local e escolhida a melhor opção para a sua instalação. BALANCE BETWEEN BIOMASS SUPPLY AND DEMAND IN THE RED CERAMICS SECTOR OF RIO GRANDE DO NORTE, BRAZIL

Illegal deforestation in Caatinga sometimes corresponds to supplying the local energy demand, even though legalized firewood options are available on the market. Studies show that the red ceramic industry is the largest consumer of firewood in Rio Grande do Norte (RN), Brazil. Considering the firewood from the Sustainable Forest Management Plans as a viable alternative to supplying this sector, the objective was to analyze the current offer of forest biomass in RN, in line with the demand for this resource in the industry of red ceramics. The number, area and volume of the current management plans were obtained by the agency responsible for state forest management. The Annual Operational Plans were analyzed to acquire the amount of wood available in one year. The survey found 22 sustainable management plans with authorization for exploration valid for the year of 2019, distributed in 20 cities in the state, adding up to an area of 988.99 hectares. A current supply of available firewood for the energy of 26,223.13 tMS.year-1 was calculated. It is noticed that the supply of firewood from the management plans meets only 5.5% of the energy demand in the state ceramics sector. In contrast, the potential supply of firewood available in Caatinga remnants of the state exceeds the sector's demand by more than six times. It is concluded that there is a need for reinforcement in the governmental sphere, to propose measures that stimulate the use of the forest resource in a legalized manner in proportion to the current consumption
