STRATEGI KOMUNIKASI SPG ROKOK LUCKY STRIKE MILD DALAM MENINGKATKAN OMZET PENJUALAN PT. BENTOEL INTERNASIONAL INVESTAMA PERWAKILAN BANDA ACEH

ABSTRAKStrategi komunikasi memegang peranan penting bagi perusahaan. Strategi komunikasi sangat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan volume penjualan suatu produk dalam perusahaan. Strategi komunikasi sangat penting bagi penjual karena dari komunikasi ini akan muncul ketertarikan dari konsumen. Di Indonesia saat ini banyak beredar di pasaran merek-merek rokok baru yang memberikan dampak bagi perkembangan dunia bisnis, salah satunya adalah PT. Bentoel Internasional Investama yang baru saja mengeluarkan sebuah produk rokok baru yaitu Lucky Strike Mild. Dalam peluncuran produk baru tersebut tentu dibutuhkan strategi promosi dan penjualan yang efektif untuk memperkenalkan Lucky Strike Mild kepada masyarakat.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi komunikasi yang digunakan SPG rokok Lucky Strike Mild dalam meningkatkan omzet penjualan PT. Bentoel Internasional Investama perwakilan Banda Aceh.Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif.Dari hasil analisis diperoleh gambaran yang jelas mengenai permasalahan dalam penelitian. Bahwa dalam menjalankan strategi komunikasinya SPG rokok Lucky Strike Mild menggunakan teknik komunikasi persuasif saat mempromosikan rokok sudah efektif dan efisien dalam meningkatkan omzet penjualan perusahaan.Berdasarkan dari hasil analisis didapati bahwa dalam memasarkan produk rokok Lucky Strike Mild para SPG menggunakan strategi komunikasi yang berbeda dalam cara penerapannya. Akan tetapi akan lebih baik apabila ditambahkan beberapa alternatif strategi komunikasi efektif lainnya agar omzet perusahaan terus meningkat tanpa mengalami penurunan.Kata Kunci : Strategi Komunikasi, Omzet Penjualan

Common Loon, Gavia immer, Breeding Success in Relation to Lake pH and Lake Size Over 25 Years

I monitored Common Loon (Gavia immer) breeding success in relation to lake pH (range 4.0–8.5) between 1982 and 2007 on 38 single-pair lakes (5–88 ha) in the Sudbury, Ontario, area. No chicks fledged on lakes with pH < 4.4. Chicks fledged on lakes with slightly higher pH only if the lakes were relatively large. Acidic lakes became less acidic as sulphur dioxide emissions from the Sudbury smelters and sulphur deposition from other long-range sources decreased. Two lakes initially too acidic to support successful loon reproduction eventually had successful reproduction. One loon pair used two large acidic lakes (combined area 140 ha) connected by shallow rapids, and one of the adults made extremely long dives (average = 99 s) while foraging for the chicks. One chick died on that lake after apparently ingesting a very large food item; the lack of smaller items was attributed to the lake’s acidity. My results suggest that a shortage of food for chicks is the main reason why low pH reduces breeding success. I suggest that, for lakes without high levels of dissolved organic carbon (DOC), the critical pH for loon breeding success is approximately 4.3, and the suboptimal pH is approximately 4.4–6.0

First-principles study of point defects at semicoherent interface

Modeling semicoherent metal-metal interfaces has so far been performed using atomistic simulations based on semiempirical interatomic potentials. We demonstrate through more precise ab-initio calculations that key conclusions drawn from previous studies do not conform with the new results which show that single point defects do not delocalize near the interfacial plane, but remain compact. We give a simple qualitative explanation for the difference in predicted results that can be traced back to shortcomings in potential fitting

Prison reform in "the subtropics of the republic" (tucumán, argentina, 1881-1927)

Este artículo busca contribuir al estudio de la reforma penitenciaria en Argentina entre fines del siglo XIX y principios del siglo XX, tomando como centro de su análisis a la provincia de Tucumán. Sus objetivos consisten en realizar una reconstrucción histórica del proceso de edificación de la penitenciaría, explorar los motivos que impulsaron a la clase dirigente tucumana a emprender una obra de esa envergadura a comienzos de 1880, abordar los discursos que sustentaron la reforma y profundizar sobre los modos en que esta transformación del castigo se llevó a cabo. La reforma penitenciaria, entendida como proyecto de racionalización del castigo, fue mucho más allá de la construcción de edificios especiales, ya que demandaba la creación de una infraestructura administrativa con presupuestos considerables, un gran número de personal calificado, así como una red de instituciones, conocimientos técnicos y un discurso de las ciencias sociales. Estos factores han sido estudiados en lo que respecta a Buenos Aires, pero poco se sabe de casos provinciales. Por esta razón se analizarán los orígenes de la reforma penitenciaria argentina tomando como ejemplo la primera experiencia penitenciaria en Tucumán.This article seeks to contribute to prison reform studies in Argentina between the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, taking the example of Tucumán province. The aims of this paper are to provide an historical reconstruction of the penitentiary building process, to explore the reasons which prompted the Tucumán political class to undertake a work of this magnitude in early 1880, to analyze the speeches that supported the reform and the ways in which punishment transformation was carried out. Prison reform, understood as a punishment rationalization project, was far beyond the construction of specialized buildings, it demanded the creation of an administrative infrastructure with significant budgets, a large number of qualified staff and a network of institutions, technical knowledge and social sciences discourses. All these factors have been mostly studied for Buenos Aires penitentiary but have hardly been studied in provincial cases. For this reason, the objective of this work is to study the origins of the penitentiary reform analyzing the construction of the first penitentiary in Tucuman.Fil: González Alvo, Luis Gabriel.
