Grounded capacitor-based new floating inductor simulators and a stability test

    Get PDF
In this paper, two new floating inductor simulators (FISs), both using two differential difference current conveyors, are considered. The proposed FISs do not suffer from passive component matching constraints and employ a minimum number of passive elements. They use a grounded capacitor; accordingly, they are suitable for integrated circuit technology. They have good low- and high-frequency performances. Simulations are performed with the SPICE program to verify the claimed theory. Moreover, for the first FIS used in a second-order low-pass filter, a stability test is performed as an example. © TÜBITAK

Website Phishing Technique Classification Detection with HSSJAYA Based MLP Training

    Get PDF
Website phishing technique is the process of stealing personal information (ID number, social media account information, credit card information etc.) of target users through fake websites that are similar to reality by users who do not have good intentions. There are multiple methods in detecting website phishing technique and one of them is multilayer perceptron (MLP), a type of artificial neural networks. The MLP occurs with at least three layers, the input, at least one hidden layer and the output. Data on the network must be trained by passing over neurons. There are multiple techniques in training the network, one of which is training with metaheuristic algorithms. Metaheuristic algorithms that aim to develop more effective hybrid algorithms by combining the good and successful aspects of more than one algorithm are algorithms inspired by nature. In this study, MLP was trained with Hybrid Salp Swarm Jaya (HSSJAYA) and used to determine whether websites are suspicious, phishing or legal. In order to compare the success of MLP trained with hybrid algorithm, Salp Swarm Algorithm (SSA) and Jaya (JAYA) were compared with MLPs trained with Cuckoo Algorithm (CS), Genetic Algorithm (GA) and Firefly Algorithm (FFA). As a result of the experimental and statistical analysis, it was determined that the MLP trained with HSSJAYA was successful in detecting the website phishing technique according to the results of other algorithms

AbstractA 62year-old male patient was admitted to the hospital due to anterior ST segment elevated myocardial infarction. Thrombotic complication developed three times during the hospitalization after primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Instent thrombus was identified despite the optimal medical therapy, new antiplatelet agents and intravascular ultrasound guided PCI. Therefore, symptoms were controlled with warfarin+clopidogrel treatment. At the third month of warfarin+clopidogrel treatment, the patient was asymptomatic and no active electrocardiographic changes were observed. Stent thrombosis developing under new antiplatelet agents constitutes a great problem and there are no clear data for the solution. We described an interesting case in which we achieved symptomatic control by warfarin+clopidogrel in the stent thrombosis developing during the treatment with dual antiplatelet therapy

Most of the world's freight transportation is made by maritime transportation. The proportion of container transportation within maritime transportation shows a constant increase. As it is the case for other maritime transportation systems, also in container transportation there is an intense competition among ports. For that matter, it is essential for the ports to have the internationally acceptable minimum performance indicators and to be capable of performing not only at national, but also at international standards by the nature of the work done, in order to continue operation under such intense competition conditions. In this study, the year performance, 2011 of nine container terminals (Novorossiysk, Odessa, Varna, Burgas, Batumi, Poti, Ilyichevsk, Constanta and Trabzon) belonging to a total of six countries with coastlines to the Black Sea, which is the largest inland sea, as five countries from the TRACECA (Transport Corridor Europe-Caucasus-Asia) program (Turkey, Georgia, Ukraine, Bulgaria and Romania) and Russia out of the program, have been determined through the application of data envelopment analysis (DEA), as a non-parametric method. According to the results of the study, it has been determined that the Poti and Novorossiysk container terminals have been the efficient terminals. On the other hand, Burgas container terminal has been found out to be the terminal with the lowest performance

Oral surgical procedures cause high-pain expectation and consequent anxiety in patients. The aim of this study is to compare the effects of Er, Cr: YSGG laser and scalpel method on dental anxiety level during second-stage implant surgery. 96 patients with 304 osseointegrated implants were divided into two groups. Implants embedded under the oral mucosa were exposed with scalpel or laser surgery. Before the operation the patients were asked to fill the STAI and DAS while resting in the waiting room. In addition, postoperative daily analgesic use, VAS scores perioperativly and on the postoperative 1st, 2nd and 3rd days and demographic information such as age and gender were also recorded. There was no statistically significant relationship between surgical method and anxiety levels (p>0.05. Also, the differences between the scalpel and laser groups in terms of total DAS and STAI scores were statistically insignificant (p>0.05). But statistically significant difference was found between surgical method and the analgesic consumption (p<0.05). A higher rate of analgesic consumption was observed in the scalpel group. The use of Er,Cr;YSGG laser could reduce pain during minor oral surgical procedures but had no significant effect on dental anxiety. Different modalities that could provide additional benefits in overcoming this situation should be investigated. © 2020, Yuzuncu Yil Universitesi Tip Fakultesi. All rights reserved
