Functional Evolution of a cis-Regulatory Module
Lack of knowledge about how regulatory regions evolve in relation to their structure–function may limit the utility of comparative sequence analysis in deciphering cis-regulatory sequences. To address this we applied reverse genetics to carry out a functional genetic complementation analysis of a eukaryotic cis-regulatory module—the even-skipped stripe 2 enhancer—from four Drosophila species. The evolution of this enhancer is non-clock-like, with important functional differences between closely related species and functional convergence between distantly related species. Functional divergence is attributable to differences in activation levels rather than spatiotemporal control of gene expression. Our findings have implications for understanding enhancer structure–function, mechanisms of speciation and computational identification of regulatory modules

Long-range particle correlations and wavelets
The problem of long-range correlations of particles produced in high- energy
collisions is discussed. Long-range correlations involve large groups of
particles. Among them are, e.g., those correlations which lead to ring-like and
elliptic flow shapes of individual high-multiplicity events in the
polar+azimuthal angles plane. The \w method of \an which allows to disentangle
various patterns has been proposed and applied to some central lead-lead
collisions at energy 158 GeV per nucleon. Previous attempts to find out the
ring-like correlations and recent results on \w \an of high- energy nuclei
interactions are reviewed.Comment: 21 pages, 5 Figs, Latex, to be published in Physics- Uspekhi,

Relaxation of superflow in a network: an application to the dislocation model of supersolidity of helium crystals
We have considered the dislocation network model for the supersolid state in
He-4 crystals. In difference with uniform 2D and 3D systems, the temperature of
superfluid transition T_c in the network is much smaller than the degeneracy
temperature T_d. It is shown that a crossover into a quasi superfluid state
occurs in the temperature interval between T_c and T_d. Below the crossover
temperature the time of decay of the flow increases exponentially under
decrease of the temperature. The crossover has a continuous character and the
crossover temperature does not depend on the density of dislocations.Comment: Corrected typo
ЯЗЫКОВОЕ ПРОВИДЕНИЕ П.А. ФЛОРЕНСКОГО Лариса М.
In the article an attempt is made to interpret linguistic views of a well-known Russian philosopher, mathematician, theologian and linguist, whose ideas were not demanded by the society he lived in. Florenski’s most famous linguistic views are presented views are presented in his works: “Antinomies of language” (1918), “Magic of the word” (1920), “The structure of the word” (1922), “The Term” (1917-1922), “The names” (1926), “Symbolarium”. Florenski regarded a complex nature of the word. He argued the reader into accepting the fact that a narrow view of the word could mislead linguists about the real nature of the word. Florenski also regarded the term, as a special mental technical formula that lied in its basement. Florenski’s linguistic theory has made a definite contribution into linguistics of the beginning of the XXth century. It is quite evident that his views have made an impact on modern linguistics as well
Dynamics of Cognitive Functions in Patients With Parasellar Meningiomas Undergoing Radiotherapy
This study was focused on neuropsychological analysis of the cognitive functions in patients with parasellar meningiomas undergoing radiation therapy. In these patients, the unilateral hippocampus adjacent to the tumor was partially exposed to irradiation. A novel approach was used to assess particular memory functionsincluding pattern separation, in subpopulations of subjects prior to the course of radiotherapy, immediately after the course, and 1–2 years after therapy. Our results show a tendency for pattern separation decline in the long-term follow-up. A possible association of these disorders with the effect of the hippocampal region irradiation and inhibition of adult neurogenesis is discussed.

Trajectories of the internal control system in the management of agricultural organizations
Purpose: The article aims to investigate the current situation of the agricultural sector, as well as its normative-legal regulation in the Russian Federation. Currently, in the context of the economic development, the importance of the agricultural sector is undeniable. Design/Methodology/Approach: It is necessary to determine the trajectory of the internal control system in the management of agricultural organizations, to investigate the current situation of the agricultural sector in the Russian Federation, as well as to systematize the normative regulation in the agricultural sector and to identify the groups of problems of the internal control system. Findings: The article presents the stages of the implementation of the state policy in the field of a sustainable development of rural areas. There are identified the main directions of the development of the agricultural sector. Having analyzed the industry features in agriculture, determined by different scientists and practitioners, the authors identified features that affect the organization of the internal control system. There are analyzed and allocated enlarged groups of problems of internal control system in the agricultural organizations: normative-legal; organizational-methodical; informational; methodological; software and hardware. Practical Implications: The results of the study can be implemented into the practice of organization, functioning and improvement of the internal control system of agricultural organizations. Originality/Value: The main contribution of this study is to clarify and develop the theoretical and methodological aspects of the internal control system in agricultural organizations in the context of digitalization.peer-reviewe
