Content of this contribution is an issue of inertial sensors errors, specification of inertial measurement units and generating of test signals for Inertial Navigation System (INS). Given the different levels of navigation tasks, part of this contribution is comparison of the actual types of Inertial Measurement Units. Considering this comparison, there is proposed the way of solving inertial sensors errors and their modelling for low – cost inertial navigation applications. The last part is focused on mathematical testing and simulations of the inertial navigation. Given issue is a partial result, which is part of dissertation thesis Integration architectures of navigation systems

Aviation ergatic systems models are used in the design of concrete aviation systems and their adequacy is evaluated in the process of their design. Generally, a concrete ergatic process is realised with the help of simulation technology. Computer systems of recent and perspective flight simulators contain the architectures of hybrid information systems. Due to this, analogue as well as discrete methods of estimation of ergatic systems parametric sensitivity do not lose their practical importance

The authors of this contribution are dealing with the potential of applied algorithmization as a methodology of improving efficiency and accelerating the process of designing as well as program implementation of simulation models for the purpose of computer-based modeling and simulation of airport processes. At this simulation, quality is built upon on a precisely defined model of airport processes are set forth by the authors as part of the process of designing a modern Departure Control System (DCS) of airports, which currently designated for automation of a complex management of processes in the field of passenger and baggage handling, the airports offer to individual air carriers. The resulting algorithms designed for the separate separate processes of the DCS will help the authors understand real processes taking place at the airport with the aim to optimize the course of actions at the airport operation. A precisely built model of airport processes is the prerequisite of proper implementation of the simulation, pointing out both the advantages and disadvantages of this models and their implementation in practice

A Hybrid Diagnostic System for a Small Turbojet Engine

    Get PDF
A diagnostic system is one of the key components securing the safety of operation of a turbojet engine. There are many different engineering approaches how to design engine diagnostic systems applied in real-world conditions. We propose a novel approach for a diagnostic system design to be applied on the object of a small turbojet engine using thermal diagnostics combined with a more traditional model based approach. The combination of these two approaches together with application of methods from the area of computational intelligence create a hybrid diagnostic system, which can be integrated with a control system of the engine. The article also deals with experimental validation of the designed diagnostic system on the object of a small turbojet engine iSTC-21v in laboratory conditions

    The delimitation of \u3cem\u3eFlammulina Fennae\u3c/em\u3e

Multivariate morphometric analyses of micromorphological characters measured on 35 specimens of Flammulina fennae and related species show that only a combination of spore dimensions and ixohyphidia characters are suitable for delimitation of this species. In order to confirm species identifications based on micromorphology, ribosomal ITS DNA sequences were obtained and compared with those previously deposited in GenBank, and phylogenetic analyses were performed using an ITS dataset of all known Flammulina species. All six specimens morphologically determined as F. fennae were identified by molecular data. Two of twelve specimens morphologically assigned to F. velutipes had F. elastica sequences. One ITS sequence of F. velutipes appears to be a hybrid: the ITS1 region is homologous to F. velutipes and ITS2 is homologous to another Flammulina species, F. rossica. Variability of morphocharacters observed for F. fennae and related species is discussed and compared with the data from previous studies. A key is provided to European taxa of the genus Flammulina together with a full description of F. fennae

    Towards the entropy-limit conjecture

    Get PDF
The maximum entropy principle is widely used to determine non-committal probabilities on a finite domain, subject to a set of constraints, but its application to continuous domains is notoriously problematic. This paper concerns an intermediate case, where the domain is a first-order predicate language. Two strategies have been put forward for applying the maximum entropy principle on such a domain: (i) applying it to finite sublanguages and taking the pointwise limit of the resulting probabilities as the size n of the sublanguage increases; (ii) selecting a probability function on the language as a whole whose entropy on finite sublanguages of size n is not dominated by that of any other probability function for sufficiently large n. The entropy-limit conjecture says that, where these two approaches yield determinate probabilities, the two methods yield the same probabilities. If this conjecture is found to be true, it would provide a boost to the project of seeking a single canonical inductive logic—a project which faltered when Carnap's attempts in this direction succeeded only in determining a continuum of inductive methods. The truth of the conjecture would also boost the project of providing a canonical characterisation of normal or default models of first-order theories. Hitherto, the entropy-limit conjecture has been verified for languages which contain only unary predicate symbols and also for the case in which the constraints can be captured by a categorical statement of quantifier complexity. This paper shows that the entropy-limit conjecture also holds for categorical statements of complexity, for various non-categorical constraints, and in certain other general situations
