El enfoque del presente trabajo muestra al lector diferentes parámetros para la gestión de la cultura empresarial al interior de una organización sin distinguir su naturaleza pública o privada, por cuanto se convierte en una herramienta de tipo analítico que permitirá dirigir o realizarapreciaciones a la forma en la cual se gestiona la cultura empresarial al interior de las organizaciones de las que haga parte, teniendo en cuenta la importancia de este aspecto en el desarrollo organizacional

Diagnóstico de las patologías físicas, químicas y mecánicas presentes en los puentes peatonales de la localidad de Engativá en Bogotá D. C.

Trabajo de InvestigaciónEste trabajo de grado tiene la intención de evaluar las patologías físicas, químicas y mecánicas en la localidad de Engativá. Así, este estudio se basa en la recopilación de datos a partir de una visita a campo obtenida con la inspección visual de treinta y cuatro (34) puentes peatonales. También se centra en los conceptos que pueden aplicarse para el mantenimiento o rehabilitación de los casos encontrados. Dual-rate sampled-data systems. Some interesting consequences from its frequency response analysis

This is an Accepted Manuscript of an article published by Taylor & Francis in International Journal of General Systems on JUL 4 2019, available online: http://www.tandfonline.com/10.1080/03081079.2019.1608984[EN] The main goal of this contribution is to introduce a new procedure in order to analyse properly SISO dual-rate systems (DRS) and to provide straightforward answers to some common general questions about this kind of systems. Frequency response analysis based on DRS lifting modelling can lead to interesting results about stability margins or performance prediction. As a novelty, it is explained how to understand DRS frequency response and how to handle it for an easy computation of magnitude and phase margins keeping classical frequency domain methods. There are also some repetitive questions about DRS that can be analysed and answered properly using the results from this contribution: what the optimum relation between sampling periods is or what effects does delay have in a DRS. Assessment of the splitting-tensile strength of ZP-306 steel fiber reinforced concrete

El concreto reforzado con fibras de acero (CRFA) es un material con gran potencial de uso en viviendas de concreto de baja altura, ya que la capacidad de resistencia de los muros está controlada por la resistencia a tensión diagonal. El artículo presenta los resultados de un estudio experimental para caracterizar la resistencia a tensión por compresión diametral del CRFA que es elaborado con fibra ZP-306 y con concretos locales. El programa experimental incluyó el ensayo de 52 especímenes en forma de cilindros. En el estudio se discuten los modelos de predicción disponibles y se realiza un análisis estadístico para comparar los resultados calculados con los datos medidos. Con base en las tendencias de los resultados experimentales, se proponen ecuaciones para estimar los parámetros que describen la envolvente del comportamiento esfuerzo-deformación del CRFA sometido a esfuerzos de compresión diametral. Las ecuaciones se han desarrollado en un formato versátil para ser incluidas en un reglamento de diseño. Abstract Steel fibers reinforced concrete (SFRC) is a material with great potential to be used in low-rise concrete housing because the strength capacity of the walls is controlled by diagonal tension strength. The paper shows the results of an experimental study intended to characterize splitting-tensile strength of SFRC made of both ZP-306 fiber and local concrete. The experimental program included the tests of 52 cylindrical-shaped specimens. The study discusses the available predictive models and shows a statistical analysis to compare the predicted results with measured data. Based on trends of the experimental results, equations to estimate the parameters describing the backbone of the stress-strain behavior of SFRC under splitting-tensile strength are proposed. The equations have been developed in a versatile format to be included in a design code

Asociación entre apego e involucramiento parental en familias cundiboyacenses con hijos entre 9 y 17 años

Este trabajo se realiza en el marco de una investigación conducida por el Profesor Milton E. Bermúdez-Jaimes titulada: “Contribuciones del involucramiento, la calidad de la relación y la competencia paterna de papás y mamás al bienestar y la seguridad emocional de los hijos en familias de tres contextos distintos” en la cual se evalúan las variables de la parentalidad en sus dimensiones cognitiva, comportamental y afectivo y su relación con el bienestar infantil en tres contextos distintos. Para esta investigación se utilizarán únicamente datos de uno de esos contextos: el bogotano y se tendrán en cuenta las variables de apego e involucramiento parental. El siguiente trabajo se propone en principio realizar un aporte a la disciplina de la psicología del desarrollo y los estudios de familia, y se inscribe en la tradición de la Teoría del Apego desarrollada por John Bowlby (1959), que posteriormente recibió aportes de otros psicólogos y psiquiatras (notablemente Mary Ainsworth), se propone desarrollar un conocimiento situado, propio y aplicable a la población nacional, que resulte en el robustecimiento de la disciplina a nivel nacional.This work is carried out in the framework of an investigation conducted by Professor Milton E. Este proyecto presenta una solución para la recuperación, limpieza y estructuración de datos sobre publicaciones de investigadores de la Facultad de Ingeniería de la Univer-sidad Javeriana, concretamente de los departamentos de ingeniería de Sistemas, Indus-trial, Civil y Electrónica, conforme a los principios de Linked Data. An Instance Selection Algorithm for Big Data in High imbalanced datasets based on LSH

Training of Machine Learning (ML) models in real contexts often deals with big data sets and high-class imbalance samples where the class of interest is unrepresented (minority class). Practical solutions using classical ML models address the problem of large data sets using parallel/distributed implementations of training algorithms, approximate model-based solutions, or applying instance selection (IS) algorithms to eliminate redundant information. However, the combined problem of big and high imbalanced datasets has been less addressed. This work proposes three new methods for IS to be able to deal with large and imbalanced data sets. The proposed methods use Locality Sensitive Hashing (LSH) as a base clustering technique, and then three different sampling methods are applied on top of the clusters (or buckets) generated by LSH. The algorithms were developed in the Apache Spark framework, guaranteeing their scalability. The experiments carried out in three different datasets suggest that the proposed IS methods can improve the performance of a base ML model between 5% and 19% in terms of the geometric mean.Comment: 23 pages, 15 figure
