    Analisis Hubungan Semantik Pada Perkataan Qurūnan ( ق رُوُنًا ) dalam Al-Quran

    Kajian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk menganalisis makna Semantik perkataan Qurūnan dalam Al-Quran. Apakah maksud Qurūnan dalam Al-Quran? Perkataan Qurūnan merupakan istilah generasi atau umat-umat yang lain dalam Al-Quran. Perkataan Qurūnan ( قُرُونًا ) sahaja direkodkan sebanyak tiga kali dalam Al-Quran iaitu dalam Surah Al-Mukminun, Al-Furqan dan Al-Qisas. Dalam kajian ini, penulis mengumpulkan juga semua ayat yang mengandungi perkataan Qurūnan dari kata dasar yang sama iaitu قَ رَ نَ sama ada berbentuk tunggal atau dalam bentuk jamak. Dari pelbagai makna perkataan, kemudian penulis akan menganalisis makna perkataan Qurūnan dalam setiap ayat dan kemudian makna Qurūnan itu sendiri diterangkan. Kajian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan menggunakan kaedah analisis teks dalam Al-Quran dengan dibantu oleh korpus Al-Quran, Al-Mu’jam Al-Mufahras Li Alfaz Al-Quran dan Kamus Mu’jam Al-Waseet Edisi Keempat. Hasil carian dalam Korpus Al-Quran menunjukkan bahawa sebanyak 36 ayat berkaitan قَ رَ نَ dikenal pasti manakala hasil carian dalam Mu’jam Al-Mufahras Li Alfaz Al-Quran pula ada sebanyak 40 ayat dari kata kunci قَ رَ نَ dikumpulkan. Adapun dalam kamus Mu’jam Al-Waseet Edisi Keempat pula menafsirkan 20 makna perkataan yang berbeza. Dapatan ini merumuskan bahawa hubungan semantik sesuai digunakan sebagai kaedah pengumpulan data tekstual secara sistematik bagi mengelakkan keciciran data dan memastikan data yang dikumpul merangkumi bidang kajian

Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitis dengan teknik pencarian data yang bersumber dari kepustakaan, Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa perempuan berhak mengikuti berbagai kegiatan politik seperti mengikuti baiat dan syura, menjadi kepala negara dan menjadi hakim, hal tersebut karena kebutuhan atas keberadaan perempuan dalam kegiatan politik pada zaman berperadaban saat ini menjadi wajib, terlebih jika tidak ada laki-laki yang menduduki jabatan tersebut, sebab tidak ada hukum yang melarang perempuan mengikuti kegiatan politik selama perempuan tersebut mumpuni dan memenuhi syarat dan ketentuan yang ditetapkan

    Homemade yeast by using tropical fruits through fermentation process

    Yeast is one type of bacteria that is used in baking industry and as the crucial parameters to determine the softness of the bread. Many tropical fruits can be used as a medium to produce yeast. The main goal of this study is to produce homemade yeast by different types of fruits. The methods used to produce yeast are fermentation and separation process, where tropical fruits such as the banana, pineapple and raisin were used. The fruits are fermented for seven days, and they are supplied daily with calculated amount of sugar and flour. The yeast produced are then used in making apam, where three parameters are measured which are the volume of apam, the flavour and the aroma of apam. The best tropical fruits to produce yeast, arranged in order are raisin, banana and pineapple. We are unable to study further on the starfruit because it is seasonally unavailable during the research period. The result of the present study would provide knowledge and information about tropical fruits as homemade yeast. Additionally, this study will produce significant and relevant information for future studies regarding to homemade yeast

    Electrospun carboxymethyl sago starch/poly (ethylene oxide) (CMSS/PEO) hydrogel nanofiber

    Sago starch is one of the natural polymers with great values as a polymeric device for various applications due to its potential as biocompatible materials. Producing sago starch nanofibers could enhance the efficiency of sago starch due to its large surface area per volume. Electrospinning is a technique that able to produce micro- to nano-scale fibers, cost effective and applicable to a large variety of materials. In present study, the sago starch was modified into carboxymethyl sago starch (CMSS) prior electrospun into nanofibers to improve properties of the sago starch, such as solubility in cold water. Carboxymethyl sago starch/poly (ethylene oxide) (CMSS/PEO) composite nanofibers were prepared using electrospinning technique with various CMSS/PEO blend solution concentrations from 2.5 to 10.0 w/v%. CMSS/PEO hydrogel films were also prepared and studied for comparison. The SEM results show the increasing of concentration of CMSS/PEO solution mixture, the formation of bead in the nanofibers reduced significantly. It indicates that the incorporation of PEO could reduce the formation of beads of the nanofibers. The electrospun fiber diameter is in the range of 300 nm to 1 μm with random orientation. The CMSS/PEO hydrogel nanofibers were successfully prepared by crosslinked using a non-toxic and natural component, citric acid. The crosslinking reaction was optimized by varying the ratio of PEO to CMS percentage of citric acid (w/w), crosslinking temperature and crosslinking period to get the highest swelling ratio of the hydrogel nanofiber. The optimized swelling ratio of CMSS/PEO hydrogel for each parameter varied from 9.442 to 5.649. The CMSS/PEO hydrogels was evaluated for the possible use in drug delivery systems.     The rapid growth of multimedia transmission leads to lose the owner identity of their products. Therefore, the demand to secure such input is crucial. In this paper, an overview of steganography and its technique applied is introduced. A data hiding within audio signals is studied. LSB technique is used and simulated result is presented. The result is characterized by robustness and high bit rate. It was shown that length of the embedded message (secret message) does not affect the stego signal audibility as long as it does not exceed the length of the original signal

    Islam provides a beautiful way of life in maintaining proper socio-economy of the ummah through the implementation of zakat. In this paper, the zakat distribution by way of zakat for Asnafs’ Business is looked at from the efforts made by Lembaga Zakat Selangor (LZS). Various entrepreneurship programmes have been carried out by LZS and these activities are strengthened by the corroboration with the expert parties. Zakat distribution is able to help the Asnafs (beneficiaries) in surviving life so as to alleviate poverty from the Muslim society. This Islamic socio-economic justice will beautifully reach its circle when the successful Asnafs who received the Zakat for Asnafs’ Business are no longer in need of the zakat, and in turn contribute to the zakat for the other Asnafs who are still surviving

    Human-Robot Interaction for Children with Cerebral Palsy: Reflection and Suggestion for Interactive Scenario Design

    AbstractThis paper explains how a humanoid robot NAO can be used as an assistive technology in specific therapy for children with cerebral palsy (CP). The role of the robot is to motivate the children as to keep them engaged in therapy. To achieve this, the robot must have appropriate appearance to be able to establish affective engagement between child and robot. In addition, the robot should exhibit the right therapeutic approach of managing children with CP. How the humanoid robot NAO acts as a tool to assist in improving the outcome of conventional therapy especially by imitation learning will also be explained. Four interactive scenarios in human-robot interaction (HRI) were designed based on the measurement items in Gross Motor Functional Measure (GMFM). The scenarios will then be constructed based on suitability that will be executed by the robot. As a result from the discussions between clinicians, therapists and engineers, four interactive scenarios consists of introductory rapport, sit to stand, body balancing and ball kicking activity have been formulated.     Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan konsumen, variasi produk, dan kualitas pelayanan terhadap loyalitas konsumen di Alfamidi D.I. Panjaitan Tanjungbalai. Penelitian ini memakai metodologi deskriptif dan desain penelitian asosiatif, dengan sumber data utama dan sekunder yang diambil dari hasil penelitian. Terdapat 96 responden dalam survei ini, yang ialah konsumen Alfamidi D.I. Panjaitan Tanjungbalai. Dengan memakai SPSS versi 20, uji instrumen dengan skala Likert 1 sampai 5 poin dilakukan. Temuan mempersentasikan  kepuasan konsumen, variasi produk, dan kualitas layanan secara signifikan dan sebagian mengintensifkan loyalitas konsumen. Kepuasan konsumen, variasi produk, dan kualitas layanan semuanya berimplikasi positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas konsumen secara bersamaan. Koefisien Determinasi (R2) ialah 81,7%, mempersentasikan  meskipun kepuasan konsumen, variasi produk, dan kualitas layanan masing-masing mempengaruhi 81,7% loyalitas konsumen, variabel tambahan di luar ruang lingkup penelitian ini mempengaruhi 18,3% sisanya. Kata Kunci: Kualitas Pelayanan, Variasi Produk, Kepuasan Konsumen, Loyalitas konsume

    The potential role of Red Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) scales: allergic reaction test in mice

    Red tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) is one of aquaculture’s most adaptive species. It is abundantly found in the wild and known to be cultured in several parts of the world. It is mainly a freshwater fish, inhabiting shallow streams, ponds, rivers and lakes but less commonly found living in brackish water. The concept of ‘waste to wealth’ has been applied widely as an alternative to waste reduction and environmental conservation. Based on these perspectives, the present study was conducted to assess possible medicinal and pharmaceutical values of the tilapia. The mice model of delayed-contact hypersensitivity test, the mice ear swelling test (MEST), was chosen for this study due to its ability to predict contact sensitization with less cost and time consumed. Four female BALB/c mice were tested in each group which included controls. Three different doses of scales powder at 500, 1000, and 2000 mg/kg in an acetone and olive oil (AOO) solution were formulated and applied to shaved dorsal trunk of the mice at induction phase, and to both sides of each ear of the mice at elicitation phase. From the observations made throughout the study period, neither erythema nor oedema was formed on the skin of mice treated with scales powder in AOO solution. Mice ear thickness increase showed percentage ear swelling of no more than 20%. Thus, the finding of this study showed that the scales of red tilapia fish did not induce allergic sensitization and could have an application in medicinal and pharmaceutical industries
