Effect of Applying Tα1 Spirulina to Feed in Juvenile Abalone Cultivation
在8口23.2 M2的池中,于水温12.5--17.7℃、盐度30的传统养殖模式下,研究饲料中定量添加Tα1螺旋藻喂养鲍苗的培育效果。试验组和对照组分别投放壳长(3.68±0.04)MM和(3.66±0.07)MM,密度(5755±429)粒·M-2和(5 733±169)粒·M-2的鲍苗,经过133 d的养殖,鲍壳长、成活率、日增长分别达到(15.65±0.19)MM和(15.08±0.63)MM、(93.57±0.68)%和(89.25±2.48)%、(90.04±1.49)μM·d-1和(85.81±4.48)μM·d-1。结果表明:添加Tα1螺旋藻培苗,可显著提高鲍苗培育成活率(P0.05);且壳色泽好、规格较整齐。经酶联免疫吸附法(ElISA)检测鲍苗体内的胸腺素α1含量也表明,添加Tα1螺旋藻能明显提高鲍苗体内的胸腺素α1含量(P 0.05).The color of shell and uniformity of size were better in treated group than in control.With enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),it was found that adding Tα1 Spirulina in feeds enhanced the content of Tα1 in juvenile abalone(P<0.05).科技部星火计划项目(2008GA721002);厦门市科技计划项目(3502Z20073008
Damage to mangroves from extreme cold in early 2008 in southern China
通讯作者Author for correspondence (E-mail: [email protected])2008年初,我国南方19个省经历了50年一遇的持续低温雨雪冰冻天气。极端气候对华南沿海各省的红树林区造成不同程度的危害。2008年3月,在我国南方各省红树林区的10个代表性地点,对这次寒害造成的红树植物伤害程度进行了系统的调查。结果表明:冬季低温对红树林的影响极为显著,特别是在低纬度的海南、广西和广东湛江,由于极端低温正值夜间退潮,对红树林的影响更为显著;在纬度较高的福建,本地红树种类秋茄(Kandelia obovata)、桐花树(Aegiceras corniculatum)和白骨壤(Avicennia marina)及引种的木榄(Bruguiera gymnorrhiza)等,由于长期适应于冬季较低的气温或在种植前经过抗寒锻炼,具有较强的抗寒能力。各地主要红树植物中,广布种秋茄、桐花树和白骨壤最为耐寒,其耐寒性均大于红树科的木榄、海莲(Bruguiera sexangula)和红海榄(Rhizophora stylosa)。海桑(Sonneratia caseolaris)对温度的敏感性最强,抗寒能力最低,因此,即使在其原产地海南也受到较为严重的寒害,在纬度更高的引种地出现大面积受害甚至全部死亡,而从孟加拉国引种的无瓣海桑(Sonneratia apetala)却显示出一定的抗寒能力。同一地点的红树植物幼苗的抗寒能力低于大树。此次寒害也造成了苗圃场的种苗大量死亡,成熟的植株提前落花落果,这势必会影响后继一两年内红树林的自然更新和人工造林。因此,在未来红树林造林或人工引种中,一定要考虑到红树植物的抗寒能力。国家自然科学基金(30671646和30700092);厦门大学“闽江学者”启动基
Study on the bioeffect of hydroxycamptothecin loaded PLA microbubbles on hepatocellular carcinoma cell enhanced by ultrasonic irradiation
目的:探讨载羟基喜树碱聚乳酸微泡超声辐照下对肝癌细胞的生物学效应。方法:选择人肝癌细胞株bEl-7402为体外模型,采用MTT比色分析法,观察羟基喜树碱聚乳酸微泡对肝癌细胞的生长和增殖抑制情况,评价载药微泡对肝癌细胞的毒性作用;采用激光共聚焦荧光显微镜技术和流式细胞仪技术观察超声辐照下载药微泡对肝癌细胞摄取药物的影响。结果:羟基喜树碱聚乳酸微泡抑制肝癌细胞的生长增殖,且随羟基喜树碱浓度的升高而增强;激光共聚焦荧光照片显示:与未超声的肝癌细胞相比,超声辐照下,肝癌细胞内羟基喜树碱的绿色荧光增强,说明细胞摄取羟基喜树碱的量增加;流式细胞仪数值:细胞内羟基喜树碱荧光值对照组仅37.5,未超声实验组为71.9;超声实验组为91.3。结论:羟基喜树碱聚乳酸微泡对肝癌细胞bEl-7402有毒性作用,且超声辐照对细胞摄取药物有促进作用。其超声辐照下对肿瘤细胞生物学效应的评价可将为其今后的临床超声治疗提供必要依据。OBJECTIVE To investigate the bioeffect of hydroxycamptothecin(HCPT) loaded PLA microbubbles on hepatocellular carcinoma cells enhanced by ultrasonic irradiation.METHODS The human hepatoma cell lines Bel-7402 in vitro were selected;the cell growth and viability inhibited by HCPT-loaded microbubbles were observed and the anti-tumor cytotoxicity was evaluated by MTT assay.Cellular uptake of HCPT when treated with drug-loaded microbubbles in combination with ultrasound was observed by confocal fluorescence microscopy(CLSM) and flow cytometry(FCM)).RESULTS Hepatoma cell growth and viability were inhibited by HCPT-loaded microbubbles,the inhibition was enhanced with increasing the concentrations.CLSM photos indicated: compared to the hepatoma cells with no exposed to ultrasound,the green fluorescence of HCPT in hepatoma cells increased by ultrasound;FCM data indicated: the fluorescent data of control group was 37.5,the fluorescent data of experimental group with no exposed to ultrasound was 71.9,and the fluorescent data of experimental group with exposed to ultrasound was 91.3.CONCLUSION HCPT-loaded microbubbles had toxic effects on hepatoma cell lines Bel-7402.It was indicated that an increased cellular uptake of HCPT treated with drug-loaded microbubbles exposed to ultrasound.The evaluation of the bioeffect of hydroxycamptothecin(HCPT) loaded PLA microbubbles on hepatocellular carcinoma cells enhanced by ultrasound will provide useful information for future clinical application.福建省卫生厅青年科研项目(编号:2009-2-79
The p38 pathway regulates oxidative stress tolerance by phosphorylation of mitochondrial protein IscU
The p38 pathway is an evolutionarily conserved signaling pathway that responds to a variety of stresses. However, the underlying mechanisms are largely unknown. In the present study, we demonstrate that p38b is a major p38 MAPK involved in the regulation of oxidative stress tolerance in addition to p38a and p38c in Drosophila. We further show the importance of MK2 as a p38-activated downstream kinase in resistance to oxidative stresses. Furthermore, we identified the iron-sulfur cluster scaffold protein IscU as a new substrate of MK2 both in Drosophila cells and in mammalian cells. Prediction of Energy Resolution in the JUNO Experiment
International audienceThis paper presents the energy resolution study in the JUNO experiment, incorporating the latest knowledge acquired during the detector construction phase. The determination of neutrino mass ordering in JUNO requires an exceptional energy resolution better than 3% at 1 MeV. To achieve this ambitious goal, significant efforts have been undertaken in the design and production of the key components of the JUNO detector. Various factors affecting the detection of inverse beta decay signals have an impact on the energy resolution, extending beyond the statistical fluctuations of the detected number of photons, such as the properties of liquid scintillator, performance of photomultiplier tubes, and the energy reconstruction algorithm. To account for these effects, a full JUNO simulation and reconstruction approach is employed. This enables the modeling of all relevant effects and the evaluation of associated inputs to accurately estimate the energy resolution. The study reveals an energy resolution of 2.95% at 1 MeV. Furthermore, the study assesses the contribution of major effects to the overall energy resolution budget. This analysis serves as a reference for interpreting future measurements of energy resolution during JUNO data taking. Moreover, it provides a guideline in comprehending the energy resolution characteristics of liquid scintillator-based detectors
