Complexity of the interpretability logic IL

We show that the decision problem for the basic system of interpretability logic IL is PSPACE-complete. For this purpose we present an algorithm which uses polynomial space with respect to the complexity of a given formula. The existence of such algorithm, together with the previously known PSPACE hardness of the closed fragment of IL, implies PSPACE-completeness.Comment: 7 page

Bunjevci from Bačka – Language and Identity

    Get PDF
Bunjevci from the region of Bačka are a deeply divided community: some of them believe they are a separate ethnic group with a distinct language, while others claim they are a subgroup of Croats and speak a Croatian dialect. The paper explains historical roots of the group’s divided ethnic consciousness and explores its consequences on the construction of their contemporary identities. First, the formation of Bunjevci as a pre-modern ethnicity in Dalmatia is discussed. It is followed by an account of historical experiences of those of them who later migrated to the Danube region in Hungary. The paper is concluded by a comparison between the Bunjevci’s two models of language regulation and politics of memory.Bunjevci from the region of Bačka are a deeply divided community: some of them believe they are a separate ethnic group with a distinct language, while others claim they are a subgroup of Croats and speak a Croatian dialect. The graduate work deals with the topic of promoting education for sustainable development on health activities. The following topics are described: sustainable development, components of sustainable development, sustainable development in education and health. Conservation of the environment and the rational use of energy are part of lifelong learning which begin in early childhood. As a pre-school child is in the process of continuous development, this very period of life is suitable for us to lay the foundations for the development of knowledge, interests and habits of environmental protection. A pre-school child is an active environmental researcher and so close to him are concepts from nature. For this reason, the graduate work describes how a child becomes acquainted with nature. Also, in the work, is presented an example of one preparation for performing activities with children on the topic „World health day“ which points to the need to use a variety of activities applied in working with children to encourage them to become aware of hygiene habits and healthy lifestyles. Institutions such as preschool have important role, and that is to encourage the development of children`s love for the environmental, expand children`s knowledge about environmental, develop attitudes, abilities and the skills that will enable thme to love in accordance with sustainable development

In this paper we determine a characteristic class of IL_{set} frames for the principle F. Then we prove that the principle P is not provable in the system ILF. We use a generalized Veltman model

    Fotogrametrijski 3D modeli u arheologiji

Living in the Corpse. Functions of Tuberculosis and Forms of Its Representation in Croatian Literature and Culture in the Late 19th and Early 20th Century

In the second half of the 19th century, social development based on science, technological innovation, rationalism and capitalist economy presents itself as full of promise insofar as it proclaims the upcoming progress of civilization. The downside of this process is the increase in crime, massive neurosis, various forms of moral disorder, and the epidemics of somatic diseases such as tuberculosis and syphilis. Consequently, the perception of the new generation as degenerate is actually the way to articulate anxiety in the culture of the time. Croatian literature at the end of the 19th and at the beginning of the 20th century frequently refers to illness, bodies burdened by drives, and to sick, tense or perverted minds. The paper, therefore, reads tuberculosis as a metaphor for the discontent and fear that permeate the contemporary Croatian society due to, for instance, the failure of the traditional concept of identity, changed gender roles, frequent sexual transgressions, increased mortality and generally due to the inefficiency of modernization processes in solving numerous social problems and crises. In the second half of the 19th century, social development based on science, technological innovation, rationalism and capitalist economy presents itself as full of promise insofar as it proclaims the upcoming progress of civilization. Comparative geopolitical analysis of “hotspots” in the Russian federation and in the Republic of Serbia

The Russian Federation and the Republic of Serbia have experienced internal challenges to their own unity and coherence for a long time. This work represents the analysis of these challenges, which can be defined, geopolitically speaking, as “hotspots”. Relying on the observations of Russian political scientists, the author of this work analyzed the so-called “crisis potential” in four “hotspots” in the Russian Federation. In the Republic of Serbia, five areas are marked that emit instability and jeopardise (or can jeopardise) its unity, peace and prosperity. Certain similarities are found between the compared “hotspots”, and differences as well. The region of North Caucasus is marked as the most dangerous “hotspot” in the Russian Federation, which has not been completely solved yet by the Russian federal authorities, due to the constant terrorist attacks. The purpose of the attacks is to extort from Russia the withdrawal from the area and create conditions for the political independence. The author found a geopolitical analogy to the North Caucasus “hotspot” (Chechnya) in the Republic of Serbia on the territory of Kosovo and Metohija. In the conclusion, it is stated that, at present, disparate geopolitical processes are taking place in the two countries - the Federal Centre is strengthening in the Russian Federation and the Federal Subjects are losing their attributes of statehood, whereas in the Republic of Serbia, the centrifugal tendencies are gaining prominence that can completely fragment it
