[EN] Higher education institutions involve various groups of stakeholders that can affect strategic and operational actions in various ways and extents. Understanding the relevance of particular stakeholders in regard to an organization is therefore of key importance. Previous research has shown the importance of involvement of different groups of stakeholders in the curriculum development. The main purpose of this paper is to present a conceptual framework for inclusion of various stakeholders in curriculum development cycle for graduate business programmes. This is done by applying the stakeholder map to curriculum development cycle to form the conceptual framework. The framework is then applied to a case of a Supply Chain and Logistics graduate programme curriculum development.Erjavec, J. (2021). The study ascertained the extent of utilization of e-learning resources by business education students in public tertiary institutions in Enugu State for research purposes. One research question was posed and two hypotheses tested. A total of 1407 business education students in four public tertiary institutions in Enugu State made up the population of the study, out of which 312 students were used as sample. The research instrument was a structured questionnaire titled “The Extent of Utilization of E-learning Resources by Business Education Students” (EUERBES). Three experts validated the instrument and a reliability test using Cronbach alpha method yielded a correlation coefficient of 0.76. Mean rating was used to answer the research question while z-test was used to test the hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance. The findings of the study revealed among others that business education students in public tertiary institutions utilized e-learning resources for research purposes to a high extent. To encourage the utilization of e-learning by business education students, it was recommended, among others, that the administrators of public tertiary institutions in Enugu State should provide e-learning resources to facilitate qualitative research among students. Keywords: Utilization, e-learning resources, business education students, public tertiary institution

    Get PDF
Gamification is the process of implementing a game strategy in the learning process. Gamification in the lecture environment increases creativity and interactivity and provides students with a sensation of accomplishment (Sense of accomplishment). The development of communication technology increased rapidly, which impacted the development of the games industry, which attracted Indonesian people in this case. Therefore, gamification can be an alternative to represent innovative and exciting learning for students in Indonesia. In this Research, the authors tried to analyze the determinants of the effectiveness of learning using gamification Keywords: Gamification; Learning; Critical Success Factors; University Students; Learning Process eISSN: 2398-4287 © 2022. This paper purpose is to discover shortcomings of multimedia product of Pelin and to conduct a survey to users of multimedia Pelin . Pelin is an online e-learning multimedia for students of Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen Informatika dan Komputer (STMIK) Bumigora Mataram, which is able the students to upload task file and download learning material. Pelin system is based on restful webservice that can provide distant learning. There are four levels of evaluation, those are reaction, learning, behavior and result. The formative evaluations result show: the Pelin multimedia disadvantages are: not supports interactive face to face learning, not facilitates audio communication, not be fully user friendly, could not upload graphic and image files, not be provided by feedback facility of test result and also not have help menus. The summative evaluation result found that the Pelin Multimedia is supports independent learning, provides web-client application, improves reaction of student to learn, increases student knowledge comprehension, increases learning behavior, and gives good learning result. Statistical comparison tests found there are significant differences influence the implementation of Pelin and there is no difference in terms of the level of reaction, learning and behavior towards the use of Pelin for S1 and D3 students

Stakeholder´s analysis in e-learning software process development

    Get PDF
The success of an e-learning project depends largely on the quality of applications and tools used to support the learning process. Meanwhile, the quality of software depends largely on proper stakeholders? identification in the requirements stage during the development process. Although some studies exist which have identified key stakeholders in e-learning domain, most of them do not perform a deep analysis of the stakeholders and their contexts, necessary to consider educational and cultural issues in this type of environment. The aim of this paper is to present the application of a method for the identification and analysis of stakeholders, which is adapted to e-learning domain. This method was used in a case study considering university environments.Fil: Romero, Lucila J.. Universidad Nacional del Litoral. Comprehending and utilizing information technology and online platforms are the dire need of todays’ educational era. Current research aims at investigating the factors influencing the successful implementation of e-learning use among Afghan-postgraduate student at University Technologi Malaysia. Particularly, centered on identifying students’ characteristics, design and content, and technological factors that affect E-learning environment. At total of seventy-two (n=72) postgraduate students from the faculty of education, engineering, science and management at Universiti Technologi Malaysia (UTM) participated in survey questionnaire. The findings resulted that most of the students have positive perception about the E-learning environment. In addition, the most influential factors are (1) students’ characteristics that contained motivation, computer skills and attitudes, (2) design & content with professed use of IT and quality of content, while (3) technology with effectiveness of IT and quality of technology have been graded as the lowest influential factors hindered the successful implementation of E-learning use. Specifically, students’ motivation, encouragement, and satisfaction are the key elements toward the successful implementation of E-learning and accomplished their learning activities better and easily than the traditional method. However, most of the learners revealed that before initiating into the E-learning environment, they need more assistance and training in E-learning environment than the traditional methods. Besides, using E-learning is more complicated during learning and teaching process. Finally, it is suggested that university authority and policymakers put into their curriculum to initiate some special workshops and seminars to the international students who are newly admitted to their desired field of studies at UTM Malaysia
