    Design and assembly of a magneto-inertial wearable device for ecological behavioural analysis of infants

    There are recent evidence which show how brain development is strictly linked to the action. Movements shape and are, in turn, shaped by cortical and sub-cortical areas. In particular spontaneous movements of newborn infants matter for developing the capability of generating voluntary skill movements. Therefore studying spontaneous infants’ movements can be useful to understand the main developmental milestones achieved by humans from birth onward. This work focuses on the design and development of a mechatronic wearable device for ecological movement analysis called WAMS (Wrist and Ankle Movement Sensor). The design and assembling of the device is presented, as well as the communication protocol and the synchronization with other marker-based optical movement analysis systems

    METHODOLOGY OF SYNTHESIS OF PACKING MACHINES FOR FOOD PRODUCTS BASED ON MULTICRITERIAL ANALYSIS

    The complex of technical means for optimization synthesis of assembling of a packing machine of separate functional modules has been developed. The method of synthesis of a packing machine, based on criterial assessment of separate functional modules (FM), combined by two main assessment groups, has been offered. FM may be selected and calculated by the program of consumption, based on the overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) criterion. An example of synthesis, based on the offered method, takes into account variants of choice of ready functional modules, based on the hierarchic structure of a module of roll packing material supply. The method takes into account the systemic approach to analysis of equipment constructions for packing fine-piece and piece food products in a consumption package. The synthesis of FM assembling as conceptual models, abstract ones, reflecting the construction structure and connections between separate elements – functional devices (FD) – has been offered. The optimal assembling of the functional device in the structure of the functional module of roll packing material supply has been determined. As a result of solving this problem, a FM1 prototype has been created. At conducting the comparative analysis with the existent equipment, the automatic functional device has been modeled. The use of the OEE criterion with joint properties that reflects the generalized assessment of a packing machine or functional module with a maximin (minimax) criterion by the compromise principle has been substantiated. The analysis is grounded on the idea of optimality of each module or device of the machine for packing food products at adding each next functional module to its composition. The program of assessment calculation of the package equipment with the complex assessment criterion OEE for different assembling of FMi machines for packing piece and fine-piece products has been developed. The FM of roll film material supply with using a microprocessor managing device that maintains a sinusoidal law of movement of a stretching roll of the packing machine has been developed. Optimal characteristics of the technical system have been determined. Results, obtained at processing experimental data, confirm adequacy of the offered method for assessing assembling solution

    We report a new approach for assembling droplet hydrogel bilayers (DHBs) using a transparent 3D printed device. We characterise the transparency of our platform, confirm bilayer formation using electrical measurements and show that single-channel recordings can be obtained using our reusable rapid prototyped device. This method significantly reduces the cost and infrastructure required to develop devices for DHB assembly and downstream study

    Numerical modelling of a high temperature power module technology with SiC devices for high density power electronics

    This paper presents the development of a new packaging technology using silicon carbide (SiC) power devices. These devices will be used in the next power electronic converters. They will provide higher densities, switching frequencies and operating temperature than current Si technologies. Thus the new designed packaging has to take into account such new constraints. The presented work tries to demonstrate the importance of packaging designs for the performance and reliability of integrated SiC power modules. In order to increase the integrated density in power modules, packaging technologies consisting of two stacked substrates with power devices and copper bumps soldered between them were proposed into two configurations. Silver sintering technique is used as die-attach material solution. In order to assess the assembling process and robustness of these packaging designs, the thermo-mechanical behaviour is studied using FEM modelling. Finally, some recommendations are made in order to choose the suitable design for reliable power module

    Розробляється технологія складання міжопорних роторів газотурбінних двигунів (ГТД) барабанно-дискового типу (БДТ) методом двох пробних складань з заміром биття на призмах та типові процеси, призначені для визначення характеристик пар і оптимального складання ротора. Створюються алгоритми розрахунків, що забезпечують: визначення і аналіз характеристик пар; разове і оптимальне складання ротора тощо. Оптимізуються відомі алгоритми розрахунків, що забезпечують складання консольних роторів з заміром биття на призмах. В середовищі швидкої розробки додатків Borland Delphi створена комп'ютерна програма, що забезпечує розрахунки при складанні роторів ГТД БДТ методом двох пробних складань з заміром биття, як на поворотному складальному стапелі, так і на призмах. Is developed the technology of assembling of intersupporting rotors of the gas turbine engines of drum-disk type by the method of two test assembling with the measurement of the beats on prisms. Are developed the model processes which intended on determination of descriptions of pairs of rotor and optimum assembling of rotor. Are created the algorithms of computations which providing: determination of descriptions of pairs of rotor at measuring of beating on prisms; analysis of descriptions of pairs; a single virtual assembly of the rotor; optimum assembling of rotor; prognosis of beats of control surfaces of links of rotor and etc The known algorithms of computations, providing assembling of cantilever rotors with measuring of beating on prisms, are optimized. Are developed the typical processes and algorithms of computations, setting for determination of descriptions of pairs, single virtual assembly of the rotor, optimum assembling of rotor. On results the work in the environment of rapid development of supplements Borland Delphi was created the connected module of subprograms and computer program, providing computations at assembling of rotors of gasturbine engines of drum-disk type by the method o ftwo trial assembling with measuring of beats, both on a turning assembling device, and on prisms.Technologies of assembling of rotors and computer program allow optimum to collect the cantilever and intersupporting rotors GTE DDT on manufacture, to conduct the calculable and model experiments on the study of efficiency of method of two test assembling

    A DETERMINATION OF THE ASSEMBLING SEGUENCES FOR THE MOVING SECTION OF THE DISTRIBUTOR CHANNEL MODULE ON THE BRACHYTHERAPY DEVICE BY USING DIMENTION AND MATING CRITERIA. A Determination of The assembling seguences for the moving section of the distributor channel module on the brachytherapy device by using dimention and mating criteria has been made. The moving section of the distributor channel module contains of 10 components. The criteria to be used are the date base of dimension and matings (Coincidence contrain, Contac coincidence, and Fix Component). The components are assembled or installed by following the assembly sequences during the assembly design by using Catia V5R17. The assembly process is created as a guide to assist good and right assembly step. The results of this process can be used as a seguence determinations for assembling the moving section of the channel distributor module on the medium dose rate brachytherapy device. PENENTUAN URUTAN PERAKITAN BAGIAN BERGERAK MODUL DISTRIBUTOR CHANNEL PADA PERANGKAT BRAKITERAPI DENGAN KRITERIA DIMENSI DAN MATING. Bagian bergerak modul distributor channel terdiri dari 10 jenis komponen.
