Expanding Grey Relational Analysis With the Comparable Degree for Dual Probabilistic Multiplicative Linguistic Term Sets and Its Application on the Cloud Enterprise
Under the cloud trend of enterprises, how do traditional businesses get on the cloud becomes a
worth pondering question. To help those traditional businesses that have no experience to dispel the clouds
and see the sun as soon as possible, we are planning to choose one corporation with rich experience to take
them into the cloud market. The quintessence of dual probabilistic linguistic term sets (DPLTSs) is that it uses
the combination of several linguistic terms and their proportions to reveal decision information by opposite
angles. This paper proposes the dual probabilistic multiplicative linguistic preference relations (DPMLPRs)
based upon the dual probabilistic multiplicative linguistic term sets (DPMLTSs). Then, it de nes the
comparable degree between the DPMLPRs and studies the consensus of the group DPMLPR. Moreover,
it probes the expanding grey relational analysis (EGRA) under the proposed comparable degree between the
DPMLTSs. After that, one example of choosing the experienced cloud cooperative partner is simulated under
the dual probabilistic linguistic circumstance. Besides, the comparative analysis is performed by considering
the similarity among the EGRA, TODIM, and VIKOR.Postgraduate Research and Practice Innovation Program of Jiangsu Province under Grant KYCX18_0199Scientific Research Foundation of the Graduate School of Southeast University under Grant

A systematic review on multi-criteria group decision-making methods based on weights: analysis and classification scheme
Interest in group decision-making (GDM) has been increasing prominently over the last decade. Access to global databases, sophisticated sensors which can obtain multiple inputs or complex problems requiring opinions from several experts have driven interest in data aggregation. Consequently, the field has been widely studied from several viewpoints and multiple approaches have been proposed. Nevertheless, there is a lack of general framework. Moreover, this problem is exacerbated in the case of expertsâ weighting methods, one of the most widely-used techniques to deal with multiple source aggregation. This lack of general classification scheme, or a guide to assist expert knowledge, leads to ambiguity or misreading for readers, who may be overwhelmed by the large amount of unclassified information currently available. To invert this situation, a general GDM framework is presented which divides and classifies all data aggregation techniques, focusing on and expanding the classification of expertsâ weighting methods in terms of analysis type by carrying out an in-depth literature review. Results are not only classified but analysed and discussed regarding multiple characteristics, such as MCDMs in which they are applied, type of data used, ideal solutions considered or when they are applied. Furthermore, general requirements supplement this analysis such as initial influence, or component division considerations. As a result, this paper provides not only a general classification scheme and a detailed analysis of expertsâ weighting methods but also a road map for researchers working on GDM topics or a guide for experts who use these methods. Furthermore, six significant contributions for future research pathways are provided in the conclusions. The first author acknowledges support from the Spanish Ministry of Universities [grant number FPU18/01471]. Dynamic reference point method with probabilistic linguistic information based on the regret theory for public health emergency decision-making
Group emergency decision-making is an uncertain and dynamic
process, in which the decision makers may be bounded rational
and have a risk appetite. To depict the vague qualitative assessments, the probabilistic linguistic term sets are employed to
express the perceptions of decision makers. First, considering the
regret-aversion of the decision makersâ psychological characteristic, the value function and the regret-rejoice function in the regret
theory are modified to adapt the probabilistic linguistic information. Second, the definition and aggregation operators of the
probabilistic linguistic time variable are proposed to describe and
aggregate the dynamic decision information. Third, the probabilistic linguistic models based on the dynamic reference point
method and the regret theory are studied to maximise the
expectation-levels of alternatives at the relative time point. The
proposed method is applied to select the optimal response strategy for the outbreak of COVID-19 in China. Finally, the comparative analysis is designed to verify the applicability and
reasonability of the proposed method
Algorithms for probabilistic uncertain linguistic multiple attribute group decision making based on the GRA and CRITIC method: application to location planning of electric vehicle charging stations
Electric vehicles (EVs) could be regarded as one of the most
innovative and high technologies all over the world to cope with
the fossil fuel energy resource crisis and environmental pollution
issues. As the initiatory task of EV charging station (EVCS) construction,
site selection play an important part throughout the
whole life cycle, which is deemed to be multiple attribute group
decision making (MAGDM) problem involving many experts and
many conflicting attributes. In this paper, a grey relational analysis
(GRA) method is investigated to tackle the probabilistic uncertain
linguistic MAGDM in which the attribute weights are completely
unknown information. Firstly, the definition of the expected value
is then employed to objectively derive the attribute weights
based on the CRiteria Importance Through Intercriteria Correlation
(CRITIC) method. Then, the optimal alternative is chosen by calculating
largest relative relational degree from the probabilistic
uncertain linguistic positive ideal solution (PULPIS) which considers
both the largest grey relational coefficient from the PULPIS and the
smallest grey relational coefficient from the probabilistic uncertain
linguistic negative ideal solution (PULNIS). Finally, a numerical
case for site selection of electric vehicle charging stations (EVCS) is
designed to illustrate the proposed method. The result shows the
approach is simple, effective and easy to calculate
Fuzzy Techniques for Decision Making 2018
Zadeh's fuzzy set theory incorporates the impreciseness of data and evaluations, by imputting the degrees by which each object belongs to a set. Its success fostered theories that codify the subjectivity, uncertainty, imprecision, or roughness of the evaluations. Their rationale is to produce new flexible methodologies in order to model a variety of concrete decision problems more realistically. This Special Issue garners contributions addressing novel tools, techniques and methodologies for decision making (inclusive of both individual and group, single- or multi-criteria decision making) in the context of these theories. It contains 38 research articles that contribute to a variety of setups that combine fuzziness, hesitancy, roughness, covering sets, and linguistic approaches. Their ranges vary from fundamental or technical to applied approaches
Pythagorean 2-tuple linguistic power aggregation operators in multiple attribute decision making
In this paper, we investigate the multiple attribute decision making
problems with Pythagorean 2-tuple linguistic information.
Then, we utilize power average and power geometric operations
to develop some Pythagorean 2-tuple linguistic power aggregation
operators: Pythagorean 2-tuple linguistic power weighted
average (P2TLPWA) operator, Pythagorean 2-tuple linguistic power
weighted geometric (P2TLPWG) operator, Pythagorean 2-tuple linguistic
power ordered weighted average (P2TLPOWA) operator,
Pythagorean 2-tuple linguistic power ordered weighted geometric
(P2TLPOWG) operator, Pythagorean 2-tuple linguistic power
hybrid average (P2TLPHA) operator and Pythagorean 2-tuple linguistic
power hybrid geometric (P2TLPHG) operator. The prominent
characteristic of these proposed operators are studied. Then,
we have utilized these operators to develop some approaches to
solve the Pythagorean 2-tuple linguistic multiple attribute decision
making problems. Finally, a practical example for enterprise
resource planning (ERP) system selection is given to verify the
developed approach and to demonstrate its practicality and
effectiveness
Classical Dynamic Consensus and Opinion Dynamics Models: A Survey of Recent Trends and Methodologies
The file attached to this record is the author's final peer reviewed version. The Publisher's final version can be found by following the DOI link.Consensus reaching is an iterative and dynamic process that supports group decision-making models by guiding decision-makers towards modifying their opinions through a feedback mechanism. Many attempts have been recently devoted to the design of efficient consensus reaching processes, especially when the dynamism is dependent on time, which aims to deal with opinion dynamics models. The emergence of novel methodologies in this field has been accelerated over recent years. In this regard, the present work is concerned with a systematic review of classical dynamic consensus and opinion dynamics models. The most recent trends of both models are identified and the developed methodologies are described in detail. Challenges of each model and open problems are discussed and worthwhile directions for future research are given. Our findings denote that due to technological advancements, a majority of recent literature works are concerned with the large-scale group decision-making models, where the interactions of decision-makers are enabled via social networks. Managing the behavior of decision-makers and consensus reaching with the minimum adjustment cost under social network analysis have been the top priorities for researchers in the design of classical consensus and opinion dynamics models
The legacy of 50 years of fuzzy sets: A discussion
International audienceThis note provides a brief overview of the main ideas and notions underlying fifty years of research in fuzzy set and possibility theory, two important settings introduced by L.A. Zadeh for representing sets with unsharp boundaries and uncertainty induced by granules of information expressed with words. The discussion is organized on the basis of three potential understanding of the grades of membership to a fuzzy set, depending on what the fuzzy set intends to represent: a group of elements with borderline members, a plausibility distribution, or a preference profile. It also questions the motivations for some existing generalized fuzzy sets. This note clearly reflects the shared personal views of its authors
A systematic literature review of soft set theory
[EN] Soft set theory, initially introduced through the seminal article ââSoft set theoryâFirst resultsââ in 1999, has gained considerable attention in the field of mathematical modeling and decision-making. Despite its growing prominence, a comprehensive survey of soft set theory, encompassing its foundational concepts, developments, and applications, is notably absent in the existing literature. We aim to bridge this gap. This survey delves into the basic elements of the theory, including the notion of a soft set, the operations on soft sets, and their semantic interpretations. It describes various generalizations and modifications of soft set theory, such as N-soft sets, fuzzy soft sets, and bipolar soft sets, highlighting their specific characteristics. Furthermore, this work outlines the fundamentals of various extensions of mathematical structures from the perspective of soft set theory. Particularly, we present basic results of soft topology and other algebraic structures such as soft algebras and sigma-algebras. This article examines a selection of notable applications of soft set theory in different fields, including medicine and economics, underscoring its versatile nature. The survey concludes with a discussion on the challenges and future directions in soft set theory, emphasizing the need for further research to enhance its theoretical foundations and broaden its practical applications. Overall, this survey of soft set theory serves as a valuable resource for practitioners, researchers, and students interested in understanding and utilizing this flexible mathematical framework for tackling uncertainty in decision-making processes
