Carrying Forward of Gendlin\u27s Conception of Metaphor

心理療法におけるメタファーの機能は、Freudの『夢解釈』以来、現在でも重要なトピックのひとつである。特に、人間性心理学分野におけるメタファーの機能について考える上で、Eugene Gendlinのメタファー論を参照することは重要である。本論文では、Gendlinのメタファー観の推移を概観することを目的として、3つのテキストを挙げる。その3つとは、“Experiencing and the Creation of the Meaning (Gendlin 1962/1997)” 、“Let Your Body Interpret Your Dreams (Gendlin 1986)” 、“Crossing and Dipping (Gendlin 1991/1995)” である。これら3つのメタファー論を俯瞰した結果、時代の推移を経て、Gendlinのメタファー観、特に状況の捉え方に変化が見受けられた。この変化は、Gendlinのメタファー観のある種の「進展」と捉えられる。最後に、この状況の捉え方により進展されたGendlinのメタファー論が持つ臨床的な特徴について論じた。The function of metaphor in psychotherapy is generally considered an important topic since the publication of Freud\u27s 7he Interpretation of Dreams. In discussing the functions of metaphor within Humanistic Psychology, the metaphor theory of Eugene Gendlin is particularly significant. In this paper, the author reviews three articles for the purpose of investigating a shift in Gendlin\u27s conceptions of metaphor. They are Experiencing and the Creation of Meaning (Gendlin, 1962/1997), Let Your Body Interpret Your Dreams (Gendlin, 1986), and "Crossing and Dipping" (Gendlin, 1991/1995). An investigation of these three articles on metaphor reveals a shift in Gendlin\u27s conception of metaphor, particularly with regard to understanding the "situation." The shift was regarded as a kind of "carrying forward" of Gendlin\u27s conception of metaphor. The role of child protection is changing in a societal change. The purpose of this research is to examine the ideal method of carrying out support system based on the change situation of Japan’s the system of child protection. The method was analyzed based on the statistical materials currently exhibited. Analysis showed that the classification of the system of child protection was ambiguous. The role of the care for an abused child is expected in recent years. And the importance to support of home rehabilitation is increasing. It was shown that the system of child protection is tinged with the character of family support. When examining the ideal method of carrying out support system, it is a subject in future what kind of therapeutic care is offered to the child who has abuse experience

バラの低温耐性遺伝子のクローニング

Rose is a garden species loved all over the world and is designated as “the flower of Maebashi-shi”. The production of roses with wonderful flowers requires to some extent the regulation of temperature. On the other hand, the cost of fuels has gone up in recent years. Therefore, the balance of maintaining high quality and productivity of roses in winter and keeping down the cost of cultivation is a big issue. In this study, we have cloned two cDNA fragments probably related to cold resistance of rose. One fragment (691 bp) encodes a putative cold shock protein (CSP) which is up-regulated by cold stress and functions as an RNA chaperone through the binding to RNA molecules under conditions of low temperature. The other cDNA fragment (524 bp) encodes a putative plant-specific transcription factor, DREB. DREB is stress-inducible transcription factor which induces various stress-resistance genes. In some species such as Arabidopsis and rice, high level of DREB gene expression has conferred augmented stress tolerance on the plant. We expect that regulating the expression of isolated genes through the genetical modification technique will enable us to breed novel roses which are highly resistant to cold stress
