This study was conducted in Yamagata Prefecture, where agricultural damage by wild animals is common, with the aim to understand the actual situation of hunters and to discuss issues related to future hunting activities. The survey was conducted in October 2021 by distributing questionnaires to hunters who were registering in the hunter registration agency, and collecting them on the spot after being filled out by the hunters themselves. A total of 540 copies of the questionnaire were distributed and 447 were collected. The results of the survey revealed the following. First, 70.8ïŒ
of all hunters were in their 60s or older, and only 8.9ïŒ
were in their 30s or younger. Since many hunters will retire from hunting in the near future, securing and training new hunters is considered an urgent task. Second, the overwhelming majority of hunters are licensed for first category gun hunting, and trap hunting. Farmers capture wild boars and bears as a pest control measure either because of actual damage to agricultural products or at their request, both within and beyond the hunting season. Non-farmers hunt pheasants, copper pheasants, and ducks for leisure and private consumption during the hunting season. Third, 90.4ïŒ
of hunters are interested in the training of young hunters. More than half of the hunters discuss with their family, friends, and other close relations about hunting and allow them to observe hunting in order to encourage the participation of new hunters. However, 37.7ïŒ
of hunters do not carry out any promoting activity. In the future, the use of SNS is considered as an effective tool for the dissemination of information about hunting and gibier

We report the case of a 72-year-old man diagnosed with left lower lobe lung adenocarcinomaïŒcT2aN3M0 stage IIIBïŒ exacerbated by multiple liver metastases and meningeal dissemination after completing 10 courses of durvalumab followed by chemoradiation therapy. The patient was treated with nivolumab, ipilimumab, carboplatin, and pemetrexed combination therapy for stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer. After completion of the two courses, efficacy evaluation CT findings revealed the therapeutic effects of treatment on meningeal dissemination and liver metastasis; however, a thrombus was observed in the left atrium. The patient was treated with heparin and warfarin. CT scan images on day 14 of treatment showed shrinkage of the thrombus. Thrombosis after immunotherapy is a rare adverse event. So far, intracardiac thrombosis with this regimen has not been reported, and there is no established treatment. Since thoracic radiation therapy and treatment with immune checkpoint inhibitors for lung cancer patients improve their prognosis, it is expected that their frequency of use will increase in the future. We report this investigation to accumulate more cases of this condition
