With the gradual advancement of the construction of smart society, how to respond to the urgent needs of social development for knowledge services under the new situation is an important topic in the construction of smart libraries. This paper expounds the essential characteristics of knowledge production in smart society and the development of knowledge service concept of Smart Library, analyzes the characteristics of knowledge production mode in smart society from the perspective of knowledge production, and discusses the development trend of knowledge service mode of University Smart Library and the way to realize the transformation of knowledge service mode

Towards a water-smart society: Progress in linking theory and practice

Few scientific publications discuss the vision of the water-smart society. Our paper addresses this gap, outlining key principles of urban water–smartness and translating them into five strategic objectives to support decision-making at the local government level. Based on recent literature and dialogue with six European water Living Labs, we argue that the water-smart society must highlight societal well-being and co-development across sectors. Furthermore, we emphasize the need for a long-term perspective, conserving nature, and maximising ecosystem services, while anticipating change. It is one of the responsibilities of universities to develop students’ work readiness. A smart university, as part of a smart city, is no longer limited to providing technologies inside and outside classrooms. Latent Transformatin of Generations Existence in Smart Society

The rapid development of information technologies in the formation of online or digital environments has a significant impact on the transformation of society contributing to the development of Smart society. This is largely due to the formation of a Smart environment based on the introduction of new technologies. In changing the patterns of social life, these new technologies require and stimulate the transformation of social norms and values. For example, simplified communication between people, expressed in the transfer of instant messages through mobile applications (messengers) gains popularity. Such messages replace verbal communication through mobile devices. The use of modern digital technologies contributes to developing new characteristics of activities, for example, multitasking, which is expressed in the ability to conduct several conversations and perform several actions in parallel. The aim of this study is to find the main trends and differences, and predict the behavior patterns of different age groups in the process of forming a Digital society. Changes can happen swiftly or slowly, in part determined by the speed of release of new information products. There is a latent transformation of generations’ existence in modern society from natural to imposed forced skills against the backdrop of these technological transformations. Filosofi Keilmuan Statistika Terapan pada Era Smart Society 5.0

Statistika menjadi bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dari penelitian ilmiah, berupa survey, eksperimen, maupun pengolahan data sekunder lebih lanjut. Dalam pegambilan keputusan tertentu statistika juga memainkan peran yang sangat penting, karenanya statistika seringkali digunakan untuk berbagai perumusan kebijakan. Dan sebagaimana keilmuan lainnya, statistika adalah juga suatu ilmu yang jika digunakan sesuai prosedur dan tujuan yang benar, akan sangat bermanfaat bagi kepentingan masyarakat banyak, namun Ketika statistika berada pada tangan orang yang salah, maka akan menimbulkan mudharat. terdapat beberapa kebohongan yang dikemas dalam bingkai keilmuan statistika, di antaranya adalah proses sampling yang tidak benar, pengambilan kesimpulan yang tidak sesuai dengan hasil/fakta sebenarnya, memberikan informasi yang salah dengan mengatasnamakan hasil analisis statistik, manipulasi data, dan lain sebagainya. Fenomena penyalahgunaan keilmuan statistika tersebut disebabkan oleh kurangnya sosialisasi tentang filosofi keilmuan statistika itu sendiri, serta masih minimnya kajian statistika yang berbasis filsafat, pendekatan sains lebih jauh, dan agama. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk Mengkaji dan membahas filosofi keilmuan statistika menurut para filsuf dan statistisi, mengkaji dan membahas filosofi keilmuan statistika menurut perspektif agama, mengkaji dan membahas filosofi keilmuan statistika menurut pendekatan sains, mengkaji dan membahas berbagai akibat yang dapat ditimbulkan ketika keilmuan statistika disalahgunakan oknum tidak bertanggung jawab dan digunakan untuk kebohongan untuk kepentingan dirinya sendiri dan kelompoknya, serta mengkaji dan membahas Langkah - langkah edukasi yang efektif agar filosofi keilmuan statistika dipahami dan diterapkan secara benar dan tepat oleh pengguna. Philosophical Reflection Smart-Society as a New Model of the Information Society and its Impact on the Education of the 21st Century

This article presents philosophical and educational reflection of smart-society as a new model of the information society and presents its impact on human (intellectual) capital. It reveals timeliness of this topic, which is innovative and hardly developed. It analyses international experience in establishment and growth of smart-society and dimensions of axiological field of smart-society, which is based on axiological matrix of information and knowledge, which are considered and being civilized dimensions of modern society. The main idea is to prove the evolution of the information society to smart-society and the possibility of establishment of smart-society in Ukraine. The analysis of smart-society formation was made and its characteristics were defined, which claims priority role in the world information space formation and contribute to the competitiveness of Ukraine in the international information space

Analisis Strategi Pengembangan Kota Pintar (Smart City) di Kota Bandung

This phenomenon occurs such as congestion, cleanliness, lack of transportation services, and lack of service are the causes of problems. This study aims to determine the Smart City Development Strategy (Smart City) in the city of Bandung. This study uses a quantitative approach in the form of numbers. The type of data used is using primary data in the form of a questionnaire. Research using the number of respondents as many as 97 people. Statistical tests and data processing were carried out using Partial Least Square (SmartPLS 4). The research findings show that: (1) Smart Branding has no effect on the development strategy; (2) Smart Economy has no effect on the Development Strategy; (3) Smart Living has no effect on the Development Strategy; (4) Smart Society influences Development Strategy; (5) Smart Environment influences Development Strategy; (6) Smart Governance has no effect on the Development Strategy; (7) Smart Branding has no effect on the Development Strategy through Smart Governance; (8) Smart Economy has no effect on the Development Strategy through Smart Governance; (9) Smart Living has no effect on the Development Strategy through Smart Governance; (10) Smart Society has no effect on the Development Strategy through Smart Governance; (11) Smart Environment has no effect on Development Strategy through Smart Governance. With an improved Smart Society and Smart Environment, the Development Strategy in the City of Bandung will also be easy to realize which aims for the growth of the City of Bandung

Smart Society Development through the Initiation of New Library Infrastructure Development in Gowa Regency

This research discusses the Gowa Regency Government's initiative to build a new library infrastructure as a step towards developing a smart society. In this ever-evolving information age, libraries are places to read books and knowledge centers that support digital literacy and intellectual growth. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The analytical tool that is maximized is Nvivo 12 Plus. The research results show that constructing a new library infrastructure has increased people's access to digital knowledge and literacy. Inclusive design has enabled the participation of all walks of life, while digital library services have expanded the range of educational resources. Government coordination has also supported efficiency in project implementation. However, low digital literacy and data privacy protection require further attention. This research provides an in-depth look at how library infrastructure development can contribute to developing a smart society, with particular attention to the still-needed improvements
