The Research Core Dataset (KDSF) in the Linked Data context
This paper describes our efforts to implement the Research Core Dataset (“Kerndatensatz Forschung”; KDSF) as an ontology in VIVO. KDSF is used in VIVO to record the required metadata on incoming data and to produce reports as an output. While both processes need an elaborate adaptation of the KDSF specification, this paper focusses on the adaptation of the KDSF basic data model for recording data in VIVO. In this context, the VIVO and KDSF ontologies were compared with respect to domain, syntax, structure, and granularity in order to identify correspondences and mismatches. To produce an alignment, different matching approaches have been applied. Furthermore, we made necessary modifications and extensions on KDSF classes and properties

VIVO Lab at the German National Library of Science and Technology: Review and outlook
This poster gives an overview about past, current and future activities of the VIVO Lab – a sub-group of the Open Science Lab at the German National Library of Science and Technology (TIB). In the past there have been several corporate projects and implementations around VIVO, including the past corporate VIVO project – VIVO for the TIB, which was complemented with the additional features (VIVOPath and VIVO Deutsches Handbuch). The current subject area of the VIVO Lab covers, among other things, the alignment of the Research Core Dataset (KDSF) to the VIVO-ISF and the integration of the national standard into VIVO, which is planned to be applied as a new model of the TIB VIVO for internal assessment and reporting

Lost in translation – challenges of tailoring VIVO to the needs of the German scholarly landscape
Every time a research information system is implemented in an academic institution there is a need to adjust the software to local needs. If a system has its roots in a different country, the adjustments can be more comprehensive. In this case, the VIVO ontology and a lot of the underlying assumptions, which are based on the realities of the US scholarly landscape, must be “tailored” to be able to depict “German” academic reality. The differences concern both the meaning of the translated terms and the usage of the terms in the common parlance. The prominent examples for such kind of terms are grants and faculties. ‘Grant’ is an essential concept to describe the funding of research projects. Universities are divided into colleges and schools. The concepts for the description of research funding in Germany are completely different, and universities are usually divided into ‘Fakultäten’ and ‘Lehrstühle’. Furthermore, terms like ‘faculty’, or ‘grant’ are not being used consistently in German academic institutions. On the other hand some concepts which are important for representing the German academic landscape are missing in the VIVO Ontology. There are ongoing efforts to add missing classes and properties. The extension of the VIVO ontology with concepts as universal and interoperable as possible, and which are typical for Germany also requires broad agreement between German VIVO applicants. Due to the above mentioned issues, it was necessary, that, actors from different German institutions build a network to collaborate on these problems. This collaboration takes place in a number of working groups, calls and on GitHub. It has been resulted in a general ontology extension (VIVO-DE) and several drafts of the translation of the VIVO Ontology. Another common task is the translation of the VIVO application files into German and the constant updating of this translation with every new VIVO version. The 'Kerndatensatz Forschung' (The Research Core Dataset - a data model for research reporting) as an extension of the VIVO Ontology is one of the current tasks, which is collaborated on as well. This talk concerns the challenges, efforts and tools of the German VIVO community to address the described issues

Theoretical context and objectives: Though the physical and mental health benefits of physical activity are well-established, a significant part of the Swiss population is still insufficiently active. Understanding the factors for successfully promoting regular physical activity is key to designing effective intervention strategies in this field. With this objective in mind, this doctorate thesis explores the relations between physical activity and the psychological variables likely to favour its practice as well as the relations between physical activity and well-being. The analysis is centred around three research questions: (1) What are the relationships between on the one side the motivation, the self-efficacy, the self-esteem and perceived barriers and on the other the sport activity? (2) How do potential determinants of sport activity influence each other ? (3) What are the impacts of sport activity on the affective life and the quality of life? Method: In this cross-sectional study 384 men and women (68.4%) aged 18 to 66 years filled in self-report online questionnaires. They were asked to describe their overall physical activity during the past year and over the past two weeks, their motivation for physical activity and their perceived barriers to its actual practice. They were also asked to evaluate their self-efficacy in general and with regard to physical activity, their general and physical self-esteem, their quality of life, and their affective experience over the past two weeks. Results: Intrinsic motivations appear strongly, positively and significantly associated with sport activity volume. Extrinsic motivation for the search of social contact also appears to be a positive and significant correlate. Self-efficacy perception with regard to physical activity as well as physical self-esteem appear positively and significantly related to sport activity volume and to intrinsic and extrinsic motivations. We observe that perceived barriers to physical activity are significantly and negatively associated with sport activity volume. In particular, lack of pleasure and fatigue appear as perceived barriers strongly related to the practice of sport activity. Furthermore, perceived barriers are negatively and significantly related to both intrinsic and extrinsic motivations. Perceived barriers are also significantly and strongly negatively correlated with the self-efficacy with regard to physical activity as well as with physical self-esteem. It appears that perceived barriers increase the strength of the relationship between motivation, self-efficacy, physical self-esteem et the volume of physical activity. In addition, we note that perceived barriers significantly reduce the likelihood of the practice of regular sport activities, while feelings of self-efficacy and motivation increase the same likelihood. We do not observe any direct effect of physical self- esteem. Of note is the fact that women perceive more barriers than men. Furthermore, body weight is positively associated with perceived barriers only in women. Finally, sport activity volume appears as significantly and positively related to the perceived quality of life on their physical and psychological dimensions. Sport activity is also significantly related to more positive affects and less negative affects. Conclusion: These results show the benefits of also considering the concepts of perceived barriers and physical self-esteem, in addition to the feeling of self-efficacy, in the study of motivation and physical activity behaviour. We suggest placing a special emphasis on the analysis of perceived barriers within intervention strategies for promoting physical activity. Further research using a randomised controlled trial is needed to assess the efficacy of intervention programmes properly integrating analysis of perceived barriers

Plan Estratégico Para Green Móvil S.A.S.
Green Movil S.A.S. is a massive passenger transport service company with a fleet of 406 electric vehicles operating in the town of Fontibon. It began operation in 2021, and is in continuous improvement for the implementation of a management system that allows it to create strategies to the corresponding materialization of (CSR).
Green Movil S.A.S takes social responsibility as a commitment to generate positive impacts; however, despite the fact that its contribution of electric buses are of great contribution, there are areas of opportunity that need to be addressed to mitigate the negative overtones that do not contribute to the main objective.
In order to identify and analyze the approach and implementation of the CSR plan, an information gathering instrument is built from the study ISO 26000:2010, taking as a diagnostic instrument a questionnaire which was applied to employees; This practice allowed us to identify the satisfaction in the company, with the employees, leading us to build a problems and objectives tree, to reach the conclusion that the action plan should work with a greater focus on the social sphere, creating an economic and environmental balance
