    Cytotoxic Activity of Pentacyclic Triterpene-3-Heptadecanoate Ester against Hela Cell Line and Its Docking Study

    Pentacyclic triterpene-3-heptadecanoate (12,13-dihydro-α-amyrin-20,30-en-3-heptadecanoate)ester refers to the compound as a result of reaction between pentacyclic triterpene-3-ol(12,13-dihydro-α-amyrin-20,30-en-3-ol) and heptadecanoic acid. This research was aimed to conductcytotoxicity test of pentacyclic triterpene-3-heptadecanoate; 12,13-dihydro-α-amyrin-20,30-en-3-oland 12,13-dihydro-α-amyrin-20,30-en-3-acetate esters against Hela cell line. The activity assay wascarried out using MTT method. The results indicated that IC50 value of 12,13-dihydro-α-amyrin-3-heptadecanoate; 12,13-dihydro-α-amyrin-20,30-en-3-acetate and 12,13-dihydro-α-amyrin-20,30-en-3-ol were 111.0, 151.1 and 944.4 μg/ml, respectively. The compound of 12,13-dihydro-α-amyrin-20,30-en-3-heptadecanoate had the lowest IC50 value, suggesting it has a potency to be synthesized as ananticancer drug

    The komba-komba plant is very rich in chemical substances including alkaloids, flavonoids, glycosides, saponins and triterpenoids/steroids. Based on the potential utilization ofkomba-komba leaves in empirical medical field as well as research showing the presence of antibacterial scientifically, then this plant has the potential to be further processed in the form of liquid soap preparations. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the leaf extractkomba-komba (Chromolaena odorata L) can be formulated into liquid soap preparations and knowing the best concentration so that it can produce preparation of liquid soap ethanol extract ofkomba-komba (Chromolaena odorata L) leaves which well based on the parameter tests carried out. The design of this research is research experimental, which is a study by conducting experimental activities to knowing the influence that exists, as a result of certain treatment or The experiment was carried out by examining the experiments carried out on the variable test using, using organoleptic test experiments, homogeneity test, test foam and pH test. The results of this study indicate thatkomba-komba leaf extract (Chromolaena odorata L) can be formulated as liquid soap and it has been done homogeneity test, pH test, foam test it is known that all parameters the requirements for liquid soap were tested, namely the overall preparation was homogeneous, pH The soaps have a pH of 10, 11 and 11, respectively, and have high foam resistance good that is able to maintain 60-70% foam volume for 5 minutes.  Keywords:   komba komba plants, liquid soap, physical properties

Sampah rumah tangga adalah salah satu jenis sampah yang bisa menyebabkan bertambahnya masalah yang dihadapi pemerintah dalam menanganinya. Kampung Hijau Kemuning adalah salah satu pemukiman perkampungan di Kelurahan Binong Kecamatan Curug yang melakukan pengelolaan bank sampah yang berbasis syariah yang bertujuan mendorong penyelamatan lingkungan menjadi hijau, bersih, mengurangi sampah dan menjadi sumber penghasilan tambahan untuk warga Kampung Hijau Kemuning. Dalam proses pengelolaan bank sampah memerlukan pengembangan baik penggunaan aplikasi computer yang berbasis android atau dalam proses pengelolaan keuangan yang bersih dan bebas dari riba sesuai dengan kaidah islam (syariah). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membangun aplikasi Bank Sampah Syariah yang berbasis Android dengan tampilan yang user friendly dan dapat membantu dalam proses pengelolaan kegiatan bank sampah yang inovatif dan menjadi masukan untuk meningkatkan pemberdayaan usaha mikro masyarakat dalam suatu kegiatan khususnya di wilayah Tangerang

    The purpose of this research is to analyze and discuss the influence of consumer buying interest on the purchase of food and beverages through the Go Food application. This research is a causal research, that kind of research that is analyzed quantitatively. This research uses two data, namely primary data obtained from the results of questionnaire answers as many as 30 respondents and secondary data obtained from literature books, journals, scientific articles, and news articles related to the topic of discussion. The analysis technique used in this research is simple linear regression with the help of SPSS 23 software. The results show that there is a positive and significant influence on consumer buying interest in food and beverage purchasing decisions in the Go Food application

    Uji Aktivitas Antibateri Ekstrak Etanol Daun Kenikir (Cosmos caudatus kunth.) Terhadap Staphylococcus aureus

    Infeksi bakteri dapat terjadi pada manusia dan menyerang berbagai sistem organ pada tubuh, antara lain infeksi saluran pernapasan, infeksi kulit, infeksi saluran pencernaan, dan infeksi saluran urinarius. Bakteri penyebab infeksi kulit antara lain disebabkan oleh Staphylococcus aureus. Salah satu tanaman yang berkhasiat sebagai antibakteri yaitu daun kenikir (Cosmos caudatus Kunth.) karena mengandung senyawa aktif berupa minyak atsiri, steroid, tanin, flavonoid, dan alkaloid. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas antibakteri dan konsentrasi minimum ekstrak etanol daun kenikir (Cosmos caudatus Kunth.) yang menunjukkan aktivitas antibakteri terhadap Staphylococcus aureus. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimental, dengan menggunakan  metode difusi sumuran dan diameter zona hambat. Konsentrasi ekstrak etanol daun kenikir yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah 20%, 30%, dan 40%. Uji dilakukan untuk mengamati ada tidaknya zona hambat dari ekstrak daun kenikir (Cosmos caudatus Kunth.) terhadap Staphylococcus aureus, setelah 24 jam inkubasi. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ekstrak etanol daun kenikir (Cosmos caudatus Kunth.) dengan konsentrasi 20%, 30%, dan 40% dapat menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri Staphylococcus aureus dengan rerata masing-masing 14,11mm, 14,86mm, dan 16,05mm dari hasil peneltian konsentrasi 40% esktrak etanol daun kenikir memiliki aktivitas terbaik dalam penghambatan pertumbuhan bakteri Staphylococcus aureu

    THE DEVELOPMENT OF QR CODE BASED MOBILE ATTENDANCE INFORMATION SYSTEM USING SCRUM FRAMEWORK

    As one of State ‘s Higher Education Institutions, the Kalimantan Institute of Technology (ITK) must perform the education and teaching function as mandated by the tri dharma perguruan tinggi, then the function is regulated in academic regulations and implemented in business processes of attendance. Currently, the attendances data are recapitulated manually at week 15 by Academic Staff. The attendance process that has been running has several problems, namely prone to violations of the actual meeting realization and attendance count, recapitulation time that takes a long time, risk of data input errors and loss of presence sheet. Based on these problems, the attendance information system is developed (SIAP ITK). This research was conducted with the agile software development methodology with the scrum framework. The results of this research is an android  application following the business processes of attendance in ITK. Based on the testing result which was carried out during this research, SIAP ITK is considered capable of optimizing the attendance process that has been running at ITK

    Selective Polarity-guided Extraction and Purification of Acetogenins in Annona muricata L. Leaves

    Herein is described the selective polar-guided extraction and column chromatography separation of annonaceous acetogenins from the leaves of Annona muricata L., commonly known as soursop. The objective of this study is to obtain an acetogenin-rich fraction, containing mainly annonacin, known to be present in the highest amount in soursop leaves. Solvents with various polarities (ethyl acetate, hexane, chloroform, ethanol, water) and their mixtures were used in the extraction, fractionation, and isolation steps. The liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis of the isolate sample showed that annonacin, having a molecular mass of 597.23, is the dominant acetogenin present. The amount of acetogenin isolated from the soursop leaf samples was 242 mg/g, based on the total lactone determination using the Kedde reagent. The cytotoxicity activity of the isolate sample was determined using the brine shrimp test. This study shows that there is a positive correlation between lactone content due to acetogenins and the level of cytotoxicity in the fractions obtained. The low LC50 value of 1 ppm showed a significant cytotoxicity of the ethyl acetate fraction obtained, higher than cytotoxicity of cancer drug cyclophosphamide. High lactone content and a high cytotoxicity of the ethyl acetate fraction indicate the potential of A. muricata leaves as the source of bioactive compounds for anti-cancer treatment

    Interaction Between Active Compounds From Aegle Marmelos Correa as Anti Inflammation Agent with Cox-1 and Cox-2 Receptor

    The compounds in Aegle marmelos have an activity as anti inflammation. The objective of this study is to evaluate six active compounds in Aegle marmelos Correa, (E,R)- Marmin, skimmianine, (S)-aegeline, aurapten, zeorin, and dustanin as anti inflammation to the COX-1 and COX-2 as target receptors. Method: Molecular docking was done with PLANTS. Ligand preparation used MarvinSketch, and protein preparation was done by using YASARA. The result was marmin, skimmianine, aegeline, aurapten, zeorin, and dustanin have interaction with Arg120, tyr 355, and Ile 523 in COX-1 and Ser353, Arg 513, and Ser 530 in COX-2. Based on the result of molecular docking, active compounds in Aegle marmelos Correa have potency as anti inflammation agent
