    An Analysis of Learner Errors in Written Production Made By The Students of SMA Negeri Colomadu

    Learning English becomes more and more important nowadays since we know that English is one of the International Language which can be used to communicate around the world. In Indonesia, English is learnt as a foreign language. Learning a different language is sometimes difficult since the target language has different element compared to the source language. These differences sometimes cause students to make errors when using it. The present study deals with English used by the researcher of written production made by The Senior High School students of SMA Negeri Colomadu Karanganyar. It is worth studying because of the phenomenon that their English is marked with a significant number of errors. This phenomenon has encouraged me to carry out a study on errors analysis in order to find proof or evidence that their English is still at the level language learner. In conducting this study at least there are three major stages which have been done, namely; recognition, description and explanation of errors. In order to make the study more comprehensive, I have also discussed things that can be implied from the findings of this research. The study examines sentences containing errors from the written production made by 15 students. The students consist of 8 males and 7 females. I have collected approximately 270 sentences containing different types of errors. All of the errors in written production are classified into 11 categories. The 11 categories are divided into 62 types of errors. These sentences are then used as the data of this study. The result of the study shows that the eleven categories of errors committed by the students are prepositions, verbs, articles, TO BE, , conjunction, bound morpheme, adjective, pronouns, vocabulary, grammatical construction and miscellaneous errors In order to have clear description of the degree of interference from the first as well as from the target language, the errors are classified based on the surface strategy taxonomy, comparative taxonomy and communicative effect taxonomy. In surface strategy taxonomy, there are omission, addition and misorering. In comparative taxonomy, there are developmental errors and interlingual errors. Communicative effect taxonomy, there are global errors and local errors. Next, all types of errors are calculated. This calculation is aimed at finding out the total number of errors as well as the frequency of each types of errors. The highest percentage of errors is recorded for verbs (21.85%) and the lowest percentage is recorded for errors categorized as pronoun and miscellaneous errors (1.85%). The conclusion that can be drawn from this study is that there are several types of errors that are done in written production made by the students of SMAN Colomadu Karanganyar. Based on the result of the data analysis, the researcher find the dominant types of errors are verbs (21.85%), preposition (16.67%), bound morpheme (16.29%) and TO BE (15.56%). It means that the students still have difficulties in this area. There are some possibilities causes of errors. The students are lack of understanding the tenses. In teaching learning process, the teachers only focus on reading section. The other possible causes of errors in verbs, the students don’t understand the verbs when they make sentences. They have limited knowledge of verbs. In Indonesia, we will never find TO BE, V-O, V-1, V-2, V-3 or verb forms

    Using Android-Based Learning Media Using Smart Apps Creator (SAC) to Increase Motivation Students Learn Biology

    The purpose of writing this Best Practice is to find out whether the use of Android-based learning media with the Smart Apps Creator (SAC) can increase the motivation to learn biology for SMA Negeri 3 Palembang students. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which consists of two cycles. The research subjects were students of class X IPA SMA Negeri 3 Palembang in the 2022/2023 academic year, with a total of 21 students consisting of 13 girls and 8 boys. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, questionnaires, tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis. Learning Outcomes by using an android application which contains motion system material takes place actively, students are motivated to explore the material provided by the teacher through the application. They discussed in their respective groups with enthusiasm. This gives them a new experience on how to use Android for learning in a more interesting way. Based on the results of the implementation of learning using Android-based learning media with the Smart Apps Creator (SAC) application, results showed an increase in learning motivation of students in class X IPA SMA Negeri 3 Palembang.     This research was aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of teacher's functional rank advancement by using Credit Number System. The policy of using credit number system in teacher's functional rank advancement is based on a decree ofMen-Pan in 1989 connected with decree No. 84 in 1993. The research was performed by means ofqualitative method. The source of data consists of the teachers, Principals, Evaluating Team, and documentation. Data~gathering was triangulation, and data analysis was done by means of inductive methods through the process of data reduction, data display, and verification. Credibility of the data was examined through extended observation, improving persistence, triangulation, peer-check, and member check. The result showed that, first, the system of teacher's rank advancement by using credit number was perceived both positively and negatively. For potential teachers, this system better than pervious automatic rank advancement, but those who were indolent and not quite smart will give negative response, because teacher's wO,rk load will be heavier. Second, this credit grade system has actually not yet effective,as it cannot improve the teacher's motivation, achievementand professionalism; almost all proposals of rank advancement up to level IVla will be granted (without any obstacle) so that it seems like the automatic rank advancement; there was no--" correlation between the rank and teacher's professionalism; and after 13 years of application there was no teacher who can achieve the rank ofIV/c or over. Third, the main obstacle faced by the teachers in collecting the credit number for rank IVIb and above was in term of profession improvement (making paper, writing journal, doing research, etc). Fourth, although this system of teacher's rank advancement was not yet effective, the better system has not been found dealing with the era of regional autonomy. The system of teacher's rank advancement by using credit number was still considered the best compared to other systems. In that case, the effectiveness of this system should be improved by developing the ·promotion system of functional rank as that ofthe university lectures, where the amount of functional allowance is suited to the rank level. Besides, there should be enough fund to perform seminars, do researches and write scientific paper; the procedure ofproposing rank advancement be made sample; and the evaluating team should master their work field and professional

    Pemodelan Pengolahan Citra Klasifikasi Jenis Buah Mangga Menggunakan Metode Backpropagation

     Di Indonesia buah mangga merupakan tanaman yang tumbuh subur. Namun pemilihan jenis mangga sendiri masih dilakukan secara manual yakni memilah jenis mangga dengan membanding warna, bentuk dan ukuran. Salah satu perkembangan teknologi pada bidang perindustrian yakni jaringan syaraf tiruan yang mampu belajar sendiri layaknya manusia. Dalam penelitian ini dibuat sebuah sistem yang mampu mengklasifikasi jenis-jenis mangga. Sistem yang akan dibangun ini menerapkan jaringan syaraf tiruan untuk pemodelannya dan menggunakan ekstraksi ciri berupa mean RGB dan standar deviasi RGB, perimeter, luas, panjang, lebar, kebulatan, dan kerampingan. Pada proses percobaan klasifikasi jenis buah mangga digunakan jaringan syaraf tiruan propagasi balik (backpropagation) dengan melakukan variasi 2 model, yakni traingdx dan trainlm dan fungsi transfer layer logsig dan fungsi transfer output purelin. Model pengujian yang digunakan pada proses klasifikasi adalah k-fold cross validation dengan dasar variasi epoch, goal, dan learning rate dari pengujian menggunakan holdout validation. Berdasarkan hasil percobaan, didapat akurasi terbaik dengan 1 hidden layer sebesar 100% dengan waktu 10,45 detik kemudian pengujian k-fold menghasilkan rata-rata akurasi tertinggi 71,31% dengan rata-rata waktu 0,06 detik

    Di Indonesia sendiri buah pisang merupakan salah satu jenis buah yang paling banyak di produksi. Namun di samping banyaknya produksi, masih banyak pula pengolahan pisang yang di lakukan secara kurang efisien. Hal ini dapat di lihat dari pemilihan jenis buah pisang secara manual yang menyebabkan pemilihan jenis buah pisang kurang optimal jika di lakukan dalam jumlah banyak Dalam penelitian ini akan di buatnya system untuk memilih jenis buah pisang secara otomatis bertujuan supaya membantu dalam memilih jenis buah pisang dalam jumlah banyak. Dalam penelitian ini nantinya akan menghasilkan system yang mampu menklasifikaikan jenis buah pisang. Jumlah data yang di gunakan untuk klasifikasi buah pisang ini adalah sebanyak 150 data foto pisang. Foto buah pisang yang di ambil terdiri dari 3 jenis buah pisang. Setiap jenis buah pisang akan di ambil 50 foto sebagai data, sehingga 3 × 50 menjadi 150 data buah pisang yang didapat. Jumlah yang di gunakan sebagai data uji sebanyak 120, dan mendapatkan akurasi 99.1667%

Terdapat fitur-fitur baru pada NComputing versi baru yang memudahkan administrator mengelola jaringan NComputing, didukung dengan sistem operasi Windows Server terbaru  yang masih mendapatkan layanan dukungan dari Microsoft, akan tetapi, dilihat dari rincian biaya yang keluar untuk pengembangan ini cukuplah besar dengan menggunakan produk dari Microsoft.NComputing is the world's fastest growing desktop virtualization company, with more than 70,000 customers and 20 million daily users in 140 countries. The current obstacle is that the average user of NComputing products in Indonesia is still using the old version of the product which has been declared an end-of-life (EOL) and end-of-support (EOS) product by NComputing.     Citra merupakan salah satu media yang paling populer digunakan dalam pertukaran informasi saat ini. Meningkatnya kebutuhan untuk penggunaan gambar juga harus didukung dengan media penyimpanan yang tersedia. Gambar yang dihasilkan dari setiap perangkat kamera beresolusi tinggi memiliki ukuran yang relatif besar. Kompresi gambar adalah data aplikasi kompresi dilakukan pada citra digital untuk mengurangi redundansi data terkandung dalam gambar sehingga dapat disimpan atau ditransmisikan secara efisien. Teknik kompresi citra dapat dikelompokkan menjadi dua yaitu lossless compression dan lossy kompresi. Kompresi lossy adalah metode untuk mengompresi gambar di mana gambar terkompresi hasil dekompresi tidak sama dengan gambar aslinya karena ada informasi yang kurang, tapi masih bisa ditoleransi oleh mata. Kompresi lossless adalah kompresi gambar di mana: dekompresi gambar terkompresi sama dengan gambar asli, tidak ada informasi yang hilang. Untuk kompresi gambar berikut dilakukan dengan mengurangi kualitas gambar yang masih dapat ditoleransi oleh mata. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode lossy dengan nilai rata-rata kompresi sebesar 61,40%
