    The ability to think creatively and learn independently of students is very important in learning mathematics. As a result, we require a learning model that can help students develop their creative thinking skills and independent learning, such as the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model. This study aims to determine whether the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model can improve students' creative thinking skills and independent learning. The method in this study is quantitative with the CTL model using the Class Action Research (CAR) method which was carried out in class XII IPS 1 SMA Pasundan 7 Bandung with 30 students. The technique used in data collection is quantitative data with a test instrument and qualitative data with a questionnaire instrument. The findings indicated that using the CTL learning model in mathematics can improve students' creative thinking skills and independence in class XII IPS 1 SMA Pasundan 7 Bandung. CTL model students outperform conventional learners in terms of creative thinking ability and mathematical learning independence. There is a link between students' mathematical learning independence and their ability to think creatively

    Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan peningkatan hasil belajar IPS dan keterampilan mengajar guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran IPS dengan diterapkanya model Role Playing berbantu media Audiovisual kelas V SD N 2 Brantak sekarjati.Hasil belajar merupakan tingkat perkembangan mental yang lebih baik bila dibandingkan pada saat sebelum belajar. Model Role Playing atau bermain peran adalah sejenis permainan gerak yang didalamnya ada tujuan, aturan, dan edutaiment. Audiovisual adalah media yang mempunyai unsur suara dan unsur gambar. Jenis media ini mempunyai kemampuan yang lebih baik, karena meliputi video jenis media wayang orang. Hipotesis tindakan penelitian ini adalah terjadinya peningkatan keterampilan mengajar guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran dan hasil belajar IPS dengan diterapkannya model Role Playing berbantu media Audiovisual pada siswa kelas V SD N 2 Brantaksekarjati. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan di kelas V SD N 2 Brantaksekarjati dengan subjek penelitian 23 siswa. Penelitian ini berlangsung 2 siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari 2 pertemuan. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran Role Playing. Sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah hasil belajar IPS siswa. Instrument dalam penelitian ini adalah tes, wawncara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunkan adalah teknik kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini terdapat peningkatan keterampilan mengajar guru dan hasil belajar IPS siswa. Peningkatan keterampilan mengajar guru siklus I sebesar 58% dan siklus II 78,7%. Sedangkan peningkatan hasil belajar terdiri dari tiga ranah, ranah kognitif siklus I sebesar 56,5% dan siklus II sebesar 78,3%, ranah afektif siklus I 56,73%, dan siklus II sebesar 74,03%, ranah psikomotorik siswa siklus I sebesar 49,88% dan siklus II 87,5%. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa penerapan model Role Playing menggunakan media audiovisual dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD N 2 Brantaksekarjati. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tindakan kelas yang telah dilakukan dikelas V SD N 2 Brantaksekarjati, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Role Playing meggunakan media audiovisual dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD N 2 Brantaksekarjat

    INCREASED KNOWLEDGE ABOUT PLAQUE AND TARTAR IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS IN KESAMBI VILLAGE, TEGAL REGENCY

    Background: Dental and oral hygiene is a special concern for school-age children. Children who are not used to keeping their teeth and mouth clean will tend to experience dental problems. This problem begins when an imbalance of mineralization and demineralization in children causes microorganisms to enter the mouth. These microorganisms will stick to and develop on the teeth which begins with the appearance of plaque and tartar in children. Riskesdas 2018 data shows that 93% of children in Indonesia experience cavities. The data shows that the level of awareness to maintain dental and oral hygiene is still low, so educational efforts are needed to increase children's knowledge. This study provides media interventions in the form of posters, 3D media, and video playback to children to attract children's attention to understand and improve dental and oral hygiene behavior. Method: This research method uses an experimental method that is directly given to elementary school students in Kesambi Village, Tegal Regency. The number of students who participated in this was 55 people with an age range of 9 - 12 years. This research started by giving a questionnaire, then giving the material, and filling out the questionnaire. The results of the questionnaire will be processed and entered into the SPSS data. Result: Knowledge before and after the extension intervention has increased as evidenced by a significant increase. This is in accordance with the results of the p-value which shows 0.000, which means that there is a significant difference before and after penuluhan. Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that counseling about children's plaque and tartar conducted on elementary school students in Kesambi Village is effective because it gets significant results

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun inovasi pengembangan produk kebaya dengam implementasi Design Thinking pada perusahaan Royal Bliss di Blitar. Pada penelitian ini terdapat lima fase yaitu definition, Research, Interpretation, Ideation, dan Prototyping. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara semi terstruktur, observasi dan dokumentasi. Metode penelitian adalah analisa deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan Design Thinking. Dari hasil analisa Design Thinking, informan pengguna menginginkan produk kebaya dengan konsep modifikasi kebaya modern klasik. Design inovasinya adalah kebaya gamis pesta modern 2in1 dengan warna yang soft cream sebagai dress dan tile border payet untuk bagian outer dengan model kutubaru, dengan kombinasi ikat pinggang lengkap dengan aksen mutiara, untuk menambahkan kesan elegan pada pakaian. Setelah pelanggan merespon positif dan menyetujui hasil prototype, selanjutnya perusahaan dapat memproduksi pakaian secara ready to wear. Dari semua proses yang telah dilakukan, perusahaan mendapatkan nilai getting the job done karena mampu menyelesaikan tantangan pada pengguna melalui produk yang dibangun berdasarkan metode Design Thinking

    Penelitian ini diawali dari kekhawatiran peneliti dengan melihat kondisi siswa di sekolah tempat penulis mengajar dalam menghadapi pelajaran matematika di kelas siswa terlihat takut, bosan dan tidak bersemangat. Hasil ulangan harian, ulangan tengah semester, ulangan akhir semster maupun ujian nasional, nilai matematika selalu lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan mata pelajaran yang lainnya. Guru kurang bervariasi dalam menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran matematika dan cenderung menggunakan pendekatan konvensional. Penelitian dilakukan di kelas XII IPS 1 SMA Pasundan 7 Bandung dengan banyak siswa 30 orang, 14 siswa laki-laki dan 16 orang siswa perempuan. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran CTL. Desain penelitian tindakan kelas yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah desain penelitian dari Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang terdiri dari empat tahapan yakni perencanaan (Plan), tindakan (action), observasi (observe) dan refleksi (reflect). Penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan sebanyak tiga siklus dengan masing-masing siklus dua kali pertemuan diperoleh peningkatan baik aspek pengetahuan (cognitive), aspek sikap (afektif) dan aspek keterampilan (psikomotor). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran CTL dalam pembelajaran matematika dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan kemandirian belajar matematis siswa kelas XII IPS 1 SMA Pasundan 7 Bandung. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan kemandirian belajar matematis siswa model CTL lebih baik dari pembelajaran konvensional. Terdapat hubungan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan kemandirian belajar matematis siswa. Kata Kunci: Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, model CTL, berpikir kreatif dan kemandirian belajar matematis

    Association Analysis of Complications, Number of Drugs, and Medication Adherence in End-Stage Renal Disease Patients Undergoing Hemodialysis

    Hemodialysis (HD) in its implementation is reported to cause complications. Complications may cause the patients to receive >3 types of drugs and decrease their medication adherence. This study aimed to analyze the association between the number of complications and the number of drugs, and the association between the number of drugs with medication adherence in End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) patients. This research was conducted at the private hospital Denpasar in March-May 2021 with a cross-sectional design involving 93 respondents. The purposive sampling technique was used according to inclusion criteria (ESRD patients with complications, undergoing HD at least twice a week, signing informed consent) and exclusion criteria (having poor or unstable health, unable to communicate well). The research instrument used was a questionnaire (ESRD-AQ). The Mann-Whitney test and Kendall tau-b test were used to analyze the association in this study. The results showed that the majority of patients were <65 years old (83.9%), male (66.7%), 35.5% high school education, still working (51.6%), and long of diagnosed with ESRD <5 years (77%). The average patient had ≥2 complications (81.72%) and 80.64% received 1-6 types of drugs with high levels of medication adherence (67.74%). There was an association between the number of complications and the number of drugs (p=0.026) and the association between the number of drugs and medication adherence (p=0.023) with a weak correlation (r=-0,227). This indicates that complications can affect the number of drugs consumed and indirectly also affect the medication adherence of ESRD patients
