The critical dimension in the processes of university teaching and learning constitutes a higher stage of the intellect and morality in teachers and students. It finds its theoretical, epistemological and methodological basis in the reconstructive and autonomous capacities of the free subject that think and create. In this research I intend to address -from the experiences as a teacher and researcher- the contextual scaffolding that places critical discourse as a necessity in the teaching and learning process of graphic design students. I will make an analysis of the curricular components that intervene in the decisions to form a critical apparatus towards the visual artistic object and answer the question: what is the point of critical education and its discourse on Visual Arts in Graphic Design students? For this, I propose to rethink the notions of criticism, in diverse contexts through which visual culture transits for the sake of a more complex education, through stories that tell the intimacies of the visual arts. CRITICAL EPISTEMOLOGY OF EDUCATION: AN ESSAY FROM THE NARRATIVE PERSPECTIVE FOR LEARNING   RESUMEN En el presente trabajo se da a conocer cómo ha devenido en experiencia significativa el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje de la Epistemología desde una perspectiva narrativa. La idea nació por parte de nuestro profesor, quien nos facultó para hacer este ensayo y compartirlo con la comunidad lectora. De ahí que nos desplazamos por el andamiaje teórico, práctico y dialógico de una educación emancipadora y creativa: un vínculo de estudiante y profesor para la colectividad a través del aprendizaje. INTROSPECTION OF URBAN CULTURE AND THE ONTOLOGICAL VISUALS OF HIP HOP THROUGH A COMMUNICATIVE CAMPAIGN RESUMEN En el presente trabajo investigativo hemos hecho un recorrido por diferentes puntos que enmarcan la comunicación publicitaria, como también el proceso de concientización de los jóvenes para incrementar el respeto hacia la cultura urbana hip hop, teniendo importancia el impacto que generan las imágenes y los mensajes mediante las campañas publicitarias como medio informativo con ideas genuinas. Así mismo con los elementos pertenecientes a la cultura urbana hip hop y sus efectos positivos que generan como aporte cultural urbano a la sociedad. ABSTRACT In this research work we have made a tour of different points that frame advertising communication, as well as the process of awareness of young people to increase respect for hip hop urban culture, having importance the impact generated by images and messages through advertising campaigns as an information medium with genuine ideas. Also with the elements belonging to hip hop urban culture and its positive effects that generate as an urban cultural contribution to society. ATENCIÓN INTEGRAL E INTERCULTURAL DE NIÑOS Y NIÑAS EN EDUCACIÓN PREESCOLAR

Nursery education is complex because of the multiple processes it undergoes in favor of the formation and evolution of children. For this reason, it is necessary not only to develop psychomotor skills, social and cultural interaction but also to ensure physical-mental integrity or to take care of children's health. This research work constitutes an epistemological and methodological support to respond to risk situations in nursery education environments. Occasionally, accidents and situations that put the life of minors are at risk, this is due - in most cases - to the lack of teacher preparation. That is why we were interested in answering the question: what should we take into account for the comprehensive care of children in pre-school education?La educación parvularia es compleja por los múltiples procesos a los que se somete en pro de la formación y evolución de los niños. Por ello, resulta necesario no solo desarrollar aptitudes psicomotoras, de interacción social y culturalsino también velar por la integridad físico-mental; es decir, cuidar la salud de los niños. Este trabajo investigativo constituye un soporte epistemológico y metodológico para responder a situación de riesgo en ambientes de educación parvularia. En ocasiones, se presentan accidentes y situaciones que ponen en riesgo la vida de los menores, esto se debe –en la mayoría de los casos- a la falta de preparación del maestro. De ahí que nos interesó responder a la interrogante: ¿qué debemos tener en cuenta para el cuidado integral de los niños de educación parvularia

Labor preventiva y derechos, concepción para su implementación en el municipio de Manicaragua, Cuba

Given the presence of vulnerabilities in the comprehensive protection of primary school students, this experience was developed as part of a stage in a long investigative journey, in order to unite efforts and interests that led to the understanding of the needs-rights unit in the implementation of preventive work. Cooperative action research was used to apply the actions that went through a systematization process to determine the best experiences. The University, other educational agencies and agents, entered different scenarios to meet the proposed objective: Prepare teachers in training to implement actions of the preventive work concept from the perspective of children's rights. Consequently, the approach to a renewed pedagogical conception emanates from the use of various organizational forms of teaching, from work practice and the development of scientific student work. Participants as co-researchers generated, designed and applied actions in accordance with respect for the best interests of the child, based on the permanent diagnosis of their needs, as well as the evaluation of the knowledge and skills acquired for educational guidance. The proposal favors: the exercise and promotion of the right and the prevention of the effects of vulnerabilities, as well as a preventive, peace and rights culture aimed at achieving well-being and satisfaction, as an expression of happiness, which makes the humanistic and of social justice that characterizes Cuban Education.Ante la presencia de vulnerabilidades en la protección integral de los escolares del nivel primario se desarrolló esta experiencia, como parte de una etapa de un largo trayecto investigativo, a fin de aunar esfuerzos e intereses que condujeron a la comprensión de la unidad necesidades – derechos en la implementación de la labor preventiva. Se empleó la investigación acción cooperativa para la aplicación de las acciones que pasaron por un proceso de sistematización para determinar las mejores experiencias. La Universidad, otras agencias y agentes educativos, penetraron en diferentes escenarios para cumplir el objetivo propuesto: Preparar a docentes en formación para implementar acciones de la concepción labor preventiva desde la perspectiva de los derechos de los niños. Consecuentemente, emana la aproximación a una renovadora concepción pedagógica, a partir del empleo de diversas formas organizativas de la docencia, desde la práctica laboral y el desarrollo del trabajo científico estudiantil. Los participantes en condición de coinvestigadores generaron, diseñaron y aplicaron acciones en concordancia con el respeto al interés superior del niño, a partir del diagnóstico permanente de sus necesidades, así como de la evaluación de los conocimientos y habilidades adquiridos para la orientación educativa. La propuesta favorece: el ejercicio y promoción del derecho y la prevención de efectos de vulnerabilidades, así como cultura preventiva, de paz y de derechos orientado al logro de bienestar y satisfacción, como expresión de felicidad, con lo cual se visibiliza el carácter humanista y de justicia social que caracteriza la Educación Cubana

LITERACIDAD CRÍTICA DESDE UNA CONCEPCIÓN EDUCATIVA POSMODERNA: ENTRAMADOS DISCURSIVOS SOBRE ARTES VISUALES EN DISEÑO GRÁFICO

El discurso derivado de la lectura y escritura constituye un ingrediente esencial para adentrarnos en las relaciones de aprendizaje de los estudiantes de Diseño Gráfico a la hora de enfrentarse al pensamiento crítico al abordar temas relacionados con las artes visuales. Disímiles miradas o propuestas desde las posibilidades que ofrecen la literacidad crítica y las prácticas discursivas postmodernas, serán los senderos o variables que nos permitirán favorecer pensamientos teóricos de los estudiantes. En el presente texto, realizaremos un análisis sobre los contextos de literacidad, la relación existente entre la lectura, la escritura y los diálogos emergentes con la crítica postmoderna como constructos ideológicos y sociales. Es por eso que resulta importante abordar nuestro objeto de estudio desde un concepto amplio del término “texto”, desde algunos rasgos postmodernos, las funciones de la escritura, los escenarios de la escritura crítica y la multiplicidad de dimensiones que brinda la lectura para que el estudiante consolide un discurso fundamentado en las prácticas interpretativas y escriturales respecto a las artes visuales.PALABRAS CLAVE: literacidad crítica; discursos; crítica de arte; artes visuales; diseño gráfico.CRITICAL LITERACY FROM A POST-MODERN EDUCATIONAL CONCEPTION: DISCURSIVE ENCLOSURES ON VISUAL ARTS IN GRAPHIC DESIGNABSTRACTWriting, discourse and reading are the essential ingredients to get into the relationships that Graphic Design students can establish when facing critical discourse when it comes to issues related to the visual arts. Different views or proposals from the possibilities offered by critical literacy and postmodern discursive practices will be the paths or variables that will allow us to deepen the redesign of the theoretical thinking of students. We will carry out an analysis of literacy contexts, the logical relationship that exists between writing and reading, and their dialogue with postmodern criticism to reveal the ideological and social connotation of the written code. That is why it will be imperative to approach our object of study from a broad concept of the term "text", from some postmodern features, from the functions of writing, from the scenarios of critical writing and from the multiplicity of dimensions provided by reading so that the student consolidates a solid discourse against the dazzling universe of visual arts.KEYWORDS: critical literacy; discourses; art criticism; visual arts; graphic design.   

INTERVENCIÓN DE LAS ARTES EN EDUCACIÓN FÍSICA

La Educación Física encuentra en las Artes un medio para el fortalecimiento de las capacidades cognitivas, físicas, sensoriales y un despertar de la sensibilidad de los estudiantes. Por ello, se considera a la música, la danza y la expresión corporal comoherramientas y mecanismos sistémicos de gran utilidad en los procesos de inclusión educativa. A propósito, se dará a conocer un marco onto-epistemológico que abraza las teorías más representativas sobre las dificultades de aprendizaje, los trastornos neuroevolutivos y la intervención de las artes en su readecuación; así como un marco metodológico capaz de brindar modos y medios de abordaje. De manera que este trabajo intenta compartir saberes entorno a la interdisciplinariedad de las artes y su función en las clases de Educación Física para potenciar el engrandecimiento cognoscitivo y psicomotor en niños y niñas de la Educación General Básica. For this reason, music, dance and corporal expression are considered as tools and systemic mechanisms of great utility in the processes of educational inclusion. By the way, an onto-epistemological framework that embraces the most representative theories about learning difficulties, neuroevolutionary disorders and the intervention of the arts in their readjustment will be announced; as well as a methodological framework capable of providing modes and means of approach. So this work tries to share knowledge about the interdisciplinarity of the arts and its function in Physical Education classes to enhance the cognitive and motor aggrandizement in boys and girls of Basic General Education.
