    Indicadores bibliométricos de las tesis de pregrado en el repositorio digital de la facultad de ciencias humanísticas y sociales de la Universidad Técnica de Manabí, Ecuador, periodo 2015-2016.

    The objective of the present work is to analyze, through a bibliometric study, the quality of the bibliographical references with which the undergraduate theses of the Faculty of Humanistic and Social Sciences have been developed in the periods 2015 and 2016, that are housed in the institutional repository of the University Technique of Manabí. In the metric study, one - dimensional indicators of scientific activity were used, which were applied to 85 degree studies in modalities of: diagnostic research, community work and scientific articles. For the theoretical bases was considered the me thod of documentary analysis to the literature written by experts in the subject. Among the results, it is highlighted that the topicality of the documents used is low, according to the Price index; In relation to the number of references a low revision of the study variables is evidenced; In the documentary typology the textbook is highlighted as the main source for bibliographic citations. The conclusions point to the need to strengthen the informational skills of students and tutors to obtain higher qual ity scientific and academic work in the Faculty.El presente trabajo tiene por objetivo analizar mediante un estudio bibliométrico la calidad de las referencias bibliográficas con que se han desarrollado las tesis de pregrado de la Facultad de Ciencias Humanísticas y Sociales en los periodos 2015 y 2016, que se alojan en el repositorio institucional de la Universidad Técnica de Manabí. En el estudio métrico se emplearon indicadores unidimensionales de la actividad científica, que se aplicaron a 85 trabajos de titulación en modalidades de: investigación diagnóstica, trabajo comunitario y artículos científicos. Para las bases teóricas se consideró el método del análisis documental a la literatura escrita por expertos en el tema. Entre los resultados se destacan que la actualidad de los documentos utilizados es baja, según el índice de Price; en relación a la cantidad de referencias se evidencia una escasa revisión de las variables de estudio; en la tipología documental se destaca el libro de texto como fuente principal para las citas bibliográficas realizadas. Las conclusiones apuntan hacia la necesidad de fortalecer las competencias informacionales de estudiantes y docentes tutores para obtener trabajos científicos y académicos de mayor calidad en la Facultad

    El sector artesanal en la dinámica de los procesos económicos, culturales y comunitarios en Ecuador

    He presents work focuses on the study of crafts as a cultural, economic, and social process in Ecuador, based on the assumption that it constitutes an essential element of Ecuadorian culture as a source of economic support for a large part of the country’s inhabitants, at the same time that plays a vital role in its historical evolution as a diverse and multiethnic nation. In this sense, it was essential to consider the relationship between craft production and its impact on the community, especially the form of contribution to its development. This theme reflects the contradictions of the current economic, social, and cultural processes in which Latin American societies are immersed. That is why the present work aims to base the contribution of craft products on the organizational forms of the family economy to promote local community development. A documentary bibliographic analysis prevailed, such as the studies carried out by the Ministry of Culture and Heritage and by the National Institute of Cultural Heritage, which constitute an essential source of information. There was also the study and analysis of different budgets of authors who have worked on the subject of crafts as a heritage, economic, and community process. Keywords: Craft Production; Community Development; Family Economy.El presente trabajo se centra en el estudio de la artesanía como proceso cultural, económico y social en Ecuador, específicamente, de la producción del sombrero de paja toquilla, partiendo del presupuesto de que constituye un elemento de la cultura ecuatoriana como fuente de sustento económico para gran parte de los habitantes del país, al tiempo que desempeña un rol importante en el devenir histórico como nación diversa y multiétnica. Imprescindible en este sentido resultó la consideración sobre el análisis de la relación entre la producción artesanal y su impacto en la comunidad, sobre todo la forma de contribución al desarrollo de la misma. Esta problemática refleja las contradicciones propias de los actuales procesos económicos, sociales y culturales en que están inmersas las sociedades latinoamericanas. Es por ello que el presente trabajo se traza como objetivo fundamentar la contribución de la producción artesanal del sombrero de paja toquilla, en la comunidad de Pile, Manabí, bajo las formas organizativas de economía familiar al desarrollo comunitario local. Prevaleció un análisis bibliográfico documental, como los estudios realizados por el Ministerio de Cultura y Patrimonio y por el Instituto Nacional de Patrimonio Cultural, los cuales constituyen una importante fuente de información. Se contó también con el estudio y análisis de diferentes presupuestos de autores que han trabajado el tema de la artesanía como proceso patrimonial, económico y comunitario.     Challenges to Foster Resilience: Inclusive University

    The work aims to provoke critical educational reflections on the current state of the scientific-pedagogical conception of inclusive education in the university context. In this sense, we are aware of the existence of an extremely positive conceptual evolution in recent times. It is necessary to articulate new discourses and teaching practices that project and illuminate the idea that inclusive education as a permanent process of change in education and for which the development of psychological activities outlined in resilience can play an important role. The Ecuadorian higher education system has experienced, for a few years, changes of great pedagogical interest. In this framework, a whole process of generating educational policies and inclusive education is shown, taking as a framework the professors and managers of the Technical University of Manabí (UTM) (Ecuador), to contribute to the greater inclusive development of the said university. The main challenges for university institutions regarding fostering the resilience of the academic process are presented

    Characterization of Physical and Motor Disability at the Technical University of Manabí: Its Relationship with Resilience

    The work aims to determine the characterization of physical and motor disability and its relation to resilience in the students of the Technical University of Manabí. The paper shows an analysis of physical motor disability in students and its impact on the level of resilience. The resilience analysis was addressed terms physical and mental state of the people, as well as the process of adapting to the problems and adversities of life. The results were shown in tables and graph on the analysis of the degree of physical-motor disability of the students as well as the application of the SV-RES test prepared by the researchers Saavedra & Villalta, 2008. Based on the evaluation of 12 dimensions, which they allow to verify the situation according to three scales: high, average and low. Finally, the conclusions were offered where the objective stated in the investigation was verified

    The educational institutions must have the necessary resources to give priority attention that facilitates the fulfillment of the objectives established in the laws and regulations, for an integral and quality education; In this process, the family plays a preponderant role in the formation of their children and as a first social nucleus there must be a shared link between them and the school. The purpose of this work is to analyze the orientation of families of students with special educational needs in basic general education, based on educational inclusion in the Ernesto Vera del Cantón Rocafuerte school. The study is carried out through the qualitative paradigm supported by the methods: descriptive and historical-logical, to perform an analysis of prevailing conceptions about trends and historical background related to the subject, adding the application of interviews to parents and questionnaire to teachers and students. It is identified that there are insufficiencies in: Knowledge about inclusion in learning and education, in communication between teachers and parents and in the ways for educational guidance; concluding that inclusion is limited to the opportunity or possibility of access, as long as the barriers to learning and the participation of all those involved are not eliminated.Las instituciones educativas, deben contar con los recursos necesarios para dar atención prioritaria que facilite el cumplimiento de los objetivos establecidos en las leyes y reglamentos, para una educación integral y de calidad; en este proceso, la familia juega un papel preponderante en la formación de sus hijos y como primer núcleo social debe existir un vínculo compartido entre estos y la escuela. Este trabajo tiene como propósito, analizar la orientación a familias de estudiantes con necesidades educativas especiales en la educación general básica, fundamentada en la inclusión educativa en la escuela Ernesto Vera del Cantón Rocafuerte. El estudio se da a través del paradigma cualitativo apoyado en los métodos: descriptivo e histórico-lógico, para realizar un análisis de las concepciones predominantes sobre las tendencias y de los antecedentes históricos relacionados con la temática, sumando la aplicación de entrevistas a padres de familia y cuestionario a docentes y alumnos. Se identifica, que existen insuficiencias en: Conocimientos sobre la inclusión en el aprendizaje y la educación, en la comunicación entre docentes y padres de familia y en las vías para la orientación educativa; concluyendo que la inclusión está limitada a la oportunidad o posibilidad de acceso, mientras no se eliminen las barreras frente al aprendizaje y la participación de todos los involucrados

    The theoretical systematization and the results of the application of methods and techniques underlying the process of educational integration of school, family and community, as a means of integral formation of the new generations, as an educational space for interaction of teachers with family and community and the development of systematic, flexible and participatory actions aimed school. a theoretical systematization based on the legal basis of Ecuador in accordance with the principles of shared responsibility and active participation, which will be useful for teachers to internalize the claim to work in this direction that makes society school is offered. The main objective is to analyze the family-school interaction in Ecuador through a comparison with development frameworks in this area with those raised by United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. The importance of this research is to achieve an awareness that the family is the first school and primary guarantor of a good education, as well as serving as a political tool to envision solutions in the short and long educational changes in Ecuador.La sistematización teórica y los resultados de la aplicación de métodos y técnicas, fundamentan el proceso de integración educativa de la escuela, la familia y la comunidad; como vía de formación integral de las nuevas generaciones, espacio educativo de interacción del docente con la familia y la comunidad, así como el desarrollo de acciones sistemáticas, flexibles y participativas dirigidas por la escuela. Se ofrece una sistematización teórica fundamentada en las bases legales del Ecuador en correspondencia con los principios de corresponsabilidad y participación protagónica, que será útil para que los docentes interioricen el reclamo de trabajar en esta dirección que hace la sociedad a la escuela. El objetivo principal es analizar la interrelación familia escuela en el Ecuador, a través de una comparativa con los marcos de desarrollo en dicha área con los planteados por la Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Educación, la Ciencia y la Cultura. La importancia de este trabajo radica en lograr una conciencia en que es la familia la primera escuela y garante principal de una buena educación, además de servir como herramienta política para vislumbrar soluciones en el corto y largo de los cambios educativos en el Ecuador
