The role of fisheries in national food security
The fisheries sector plays an important role in supporting Indonesia's national food security by providing a source of high-quality and sustainable animal protein. Capture fisheries and aquaculture not only meet the food needs of the community but also contribute significantly to the economy and welfare of coastal communities. This study employs a literature review method to analyze the contributions, challenges, and efforts to improve the fisheries sector in support of national food security. The results of the study indicate that sustainable fisheries resource management, improved aquaculture technology, and appropriate policy support are essential to maintain the continuity of food supply from the sea. Collaborative efforts among the government, businesses, and the community are crucial to strengthening the fisheries sector's role as a pillar of national food security
ESG and firm value: The moderating role of environmental performance and profitability in Indonesia’s mining sector
This study examines the relationship between Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance and firm value in Indonesia’s mining sector, with a focus on the moderating roles of environmental performance and profitability. ESG performance is proxied by the Sustainable Report Disclosure Index (SRDI), firm value is measured using Tobin’s Q, environmental performance is measured using the PROPER rating, and profitability is represented by Return on Assets (ROA). The research sample comprises 10 mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) that consistently publish sustainability reports and participate in the government’s PROPER environmental compliance rating program, observed over 4 years (2020–2023), resulting in 40 firm-year observations. The study employs panel data regression with a random effects model, based on the results of the Chow, Hausman, and Lagrange Multiplier tests. The findings reveal that ESG performance has a negative and statistically significant effect on firm value. Furthermore, profitability significantly moderates the relationship between ESG and firm value, while environmental performance does not show a moderating effect. These results suggest that investors may view ESG initiatives as costly when not supported by strong financial performance

At the same time, when calculating the average grades of the experimental group, the following scores were obtained: "Oswaldo Castro" Educational Unit 5.0, "Raymundo Aveiga" Educational Unit 5.3 and "Gonzalo Abad" Educational Unit 5.7, which showed that there was a significant difference between groups when evaluating the exercise
Driving customer loyalty: Mediating effect of customer satisfaction on service quality and brand image
This study investigated the critical roles of service quality and brand image in driving customer loyalty, specifically examining how customer satisfaction mediates these relationships among Indihome users in Denpasar. Grounded in the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) theory, this research explores how service quality and brand image, as external stimuli, influence internal consumer satisfaction to foster loyalty. A quantitative approach was employed, collecting data through an online survey from 250 Indihome consumers in Denpasar. Data analysis utilized Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). Findings confirm that service quality and brand image both positively and significantly influence customer loyalty directly. Additionally, both service quality and brand image positively and significantly impact customer satisfaction. Crucially, customer satisfaction was found to directly and positively affect customer loyalty, and it partially mediates the relationships between service quality, brand image and customer loyalty. These results highlight that customer satisfaction is a vital internal response, significantly amplifying how service quality and brand image translate into stronger customer loyalty
The effect of ethical leadership and perceived organizational support on job satisfaction mediated by psychological empowerment
Nurses are the largest representative of the health worker population in Indonesia, who play an important role in patient care, health, and safety. However, nursing is a field of work with a high level of stress and can trigger a decrease in job satisfaction. This also happened at Ari Canti Hospital in Gianyar Regency, Bali Province-Indonesia. The results of the Employee Satisfaction Survey in 2023 showed that 489 respondents had a job satisfaction level of 66.5%, and the nursing unit had the lowest satisfaction level among other units. This hospital has not met the level of employee job satisfaction that must be achieved, which is a minimum of 80% based on the requirements of the Hospital Accreditation Standards. This study aims to analyze the effect of ethical leadership and perceived organizational support on nurse job satisfaction with psychological empowerment as a mediating variable. Based on the Social Exchange Theory, the reciprocal relationship between nurses, superiors, and organizations plays an important role in creating job satisfaction. This study was conducted at Ari Canti Hospital with a sample of 154 nurses. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with the Partial Least Squares approach.
The influence of brand image and customer experience on reuse intention with trust as a mediating variable: A study on sociolla users
In Indonesia's growing beauty e-commerce sector, customer reuse intention is vital for long-term survival, as retaining existing customers is a key factor. This study aims to explain the mediating role of trust in the relationship between brand image and customer experience on reuse intention at the e-commerce platform Sociolla. Using a quantitative approach with SEM-PLS, data were collected from 170 respondents via a Google Form questionnaire. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique. The findings indicate that brand image and customer experience both positively and significantly influence trust, which, in turn, boosts reuse intention. Additionally, trust was found to act as a partial mediator in the relationships between brand image, customer experience, and reuse intention. Theoretically, these findings contribute to the Theory of Planned Behavior by providing empirical evidence of how these variables are interconnected. The study also offers practical recommendations for Sociolla, such as utilizing brand ambassadors, enhancing customer service, ensuring transparency, and guaranteeing transaction security, to drive customer loyalty and retention
