Pengaruh Rasio Likuiditas, Rasio Profitabilitas, Dan Rasio Solvabilitas Terhadap Return Saham Pada Perusahaan Food And Baverages Yang Terdaftar Di Bei Periode 2016 ā 2018
This study aims to determine the Effect of Liquidity Ratio which is proxied by Current Ratio, Profitability Ratio proxied by Return on Assets, and Solvency Ratio which is proxied by Debt to Equity Ratio to Stock Return on food and baverages companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange Period 2016-2018. The population in this study were all food and baverages companies listed on the Stock Exchange, which were 26 companies as samples which were published on the website www.ide.co.id. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis techniques with the SPSS program and the regression equation is known. Y = -1,8888 ā 0,006X1 + 0,510X2 ā 0,001X3 Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that Current Ratio, Return on Assets, and Debt to Equity Ratio simultaneously have no significant effect on stock returns. This is evidenced by the F-count (0,750) 0,05. The application of current ratio partially has a negative and not significant effect on stock returns with a coefficient of -0,191 and a probability of 0,849, return on assets partially has a positive and insignificant effect on stock returns with a coefficient of 1,429 and a probability of 0,981. R square value of 0,052 which means the effect of current ratio, return on assets, and debt to equity on stock returns of 5,2%, while the remaining 94,8% is influenced by other variables outside this research model
Inaugural Address
I would like to extend a very warm welcome to all of you
assembled here this morning. It is a great honour for me to address this
opening session of the Twentieth Annual General Meeting and Conference
of the Pakistan Society of Development Economists. Recent decades have
witnessed a proliferation of regional integration schemes around the
world involving both developed and developing countries alike. In the
context of developing economies, the promotion of regional economic
cooperation and integration is increasingly being viewed as an important
instrument for expediting the process of economic development. It is
widely believed that regional economic cooperation yields gains in
production specialisation, efficiency and improved quality of exports,
all of which benefit the countries participating in the regional
cooperation effort

Adaptive Hybrid Projective Synchronization Of Hyper-chaotic Systems
In this paper, we design a procedure to investigate the hybrid projective synchronization (HPS) technique among two identical hyper-chaotic systems. An adaptive control method (ACM) is pro- posed which is based on Lyapunov stability theory (LST). The considered technique globally determines the asymptotical stability and establishes identification of parameter simultaneously via HPS approach. Additionally, numerical simulations are carried out for visualizing the effectiveness and feasibility of discussed scheme by using MATLAB
Removal of heavy metals from wastewater using agricultural and industrial wastes as adsorbents
AbstractAdsorption processes are being widely used by various researchers for the removal of heavy metals from waste streams and activated carbon has been frequently used as an adsorbent. Despite its extensive use in water and wastewater treatment industries, activated carbon remains an expensive material. In recent years, the need for safe and economical methods for the elimination of heavy metals from contaminated waters has necessitated research interest toward the production of low cost alternatives to commercially available activated carbon. Therefore, there is an urgent need that all possible sources of agro-based inexpensive adsorbents should be explored and their feasibility for the removal of heavy metals should be studied in detail. The objective of this research is to study the utilization possibilities of less expensive adsorbents for the elimination of heavy metals from wastewater. Agricultural and industrial waste by-products such as rice husk and fly ash have be used for the elimination of heavy metals from wastewater for the treatment of the EL-AHLIA Company wastewater for electroplating industries as an actual case study. Results showed that low cost adsorbents can be fruitfully used for the removal of heavy metals with a concentration range of 20ā60mg/l also, using real wastewater showed that rice husk was effective in the simultaneous removal of Fe, Pb and Ni, where fly ash was effective in the removal of Cd and Cu
Bitcoin and Future of Cryptocurrency
There are diverse variables that impact the future usage of bitcoin, from issues related to security to concerns pertaining to garnering acceptance from the market and customers. In this article, few predictive statements have been analysed regarding the future of bitcoin, such as (1) the growth of share of digital purchases, (2) customer acceptance for blockchain innovation in electronic settlements, payment and banking system, (3) the emergence of bitcoin and also various other cryptocurrencies as niche cash, and (4) the implications of bitcoin or some other cryptocurrency as a specific niche cash in nations with specifically weak currency, and (5) the possibilities of regulative dangers of bitcoin usage in these nations
The Role of National Cultures in Shaping the Corporate Management Cultures: A Three-Country Theoretical Analysis
This chapter explores answers to the question that how national cultures influence the management cultures of organizations. In this case, therefore, differences and similarities among the national cultures of Pakistan, Mexico, and the USA are under investigation in order to analyze the impacts of such differences and similarities on the management cultures of organizations located in these countries. The outcomes of the analysis based on the existing literature suggest that differences in national cultures greatly influence the way organizations are managed in these countries. These findings present cross-cultural management challenges for organizations working in these countries, especially when they want to build trilateral or bilateral business partnerships. This is in addition to the fact that the USA and Mexico are geographically far from Pakistan
The Relationship between Industrial Electricity Consumptions, Industrial Employment and Industrial GDP
The study was carried out to see how electricity effects industry by identifying the relationship between industrial electricity consumptions, industrial employment, and industrial GDP. Industrial electricity shortage has been a major threat and has caused approximately two percent loss to the Pakistanās economy with the rate of unemployment reaching 6% during 2013-14, leaving millions unemployed across the country. Co-integration and granger causality test was employed to find the long-term relationship between industrial electricity consumption, employment, and industrial growth. Results revealed that all three; industrial electricity consumption, employment, and industrial growth, were stationarity at the 1st difference and co-integrated on the basis of optimal lag selection criteria. Vector error correction model employed to test the speed of adjustment showed that industrial GDP & industrial electricity, and industrial employment & industrial GDP, both were significant at 5% level, while Industrial employment and industrial electricity was significant at 13.5%. Results of granger causality indicated that industrial electricity has a long-term relationship both with industrial GDP and industrial employment. Data analysis revealed that for Pakistanās economic growth reliable electricity to industrial sector is essential and hindrance or unavailability of electricity to the industry will lead to unemployment and reduce economic growth
Export Scenario Between Bangladesh and China: Opportunities of Bangladesh in RMG Sector
The Ready-made Garment (RMG) industry has already promoted itself as the largest foreign currency earning sector for Bangladesh and occupying the 2nd position in leading exporters of clothing. From a humble beginning in late 70ās RMG sector has emerged itself and did employment about 4.5 million peoples. China is the largest clothing exporter and represents the lionās share of the world market. In spite of being the second largest exporter, Bangladesh is far behind from China in any category of this sector including export earnings and a number of markets. Whereas China occupies one-third of global market share, Bangladesh has only 6 percent share in clothing export in the world but acts as a lifeline in her economy having 82 percent contribution of export earnings. Bangladesh could be more successful in this sector if it utilizes the available opportunities. For this, Bangladesh should try to grab the opportunities impeding in front because of backwardness of China in clothing export originating recently due to the transformation of the economy to high technology production and higher labor cost in garments. Hence it is important for policy makers to find out the facts and figure in exports of Bangladesh RMG to China. This paper will exhibit the comparativeness of Bangladesh vis-Ć -vis China in Ready-made Garment sector. Statistical analysis and secondary data sources have been used to make a broad discussion for this study. Bangladesh has the potentialities to be the next China if it can perform well according to the demand and challenges
